As much as no one likes being at the dentist I generally find myself laughing in his chair at least once per visit.!!!!! His in house oral Surgeon Dr. Lan (please correct my spelling) is also so kind and skilled. He even called personally to check up on me after my procedure. It's the little things like that you remember. The whole staff is so friendly and amazing. From the front desk to the dental assistants. TOP NOTCH!!!!

High points: - Excellent staff: friendly, positive, accommodating - Apt reminders by text (crucial for me) - Clean, high tech office environment - WONDERFUL with kids and anxiety On this last point: my child was nervous about having their first cavities filled. (Really nervous. Anxiety began weeks before the appointment. Asking the same questions over and over, and to multiple adults.) Once in the chair, they still had a million questions. Dr. Samiei and his staff answered each one patiently.  He allowed my child agency to ease their nerves (counting down to the Novocain shot, deciding on hand signals in case a break was needed, etc.). The appointment took longer than necessary due to all the questions, but never once did they rush. My child left happy and relieved. Can't recommend them enough, especially if you or your child experience anxiety at the dentist.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST DENTIST! AVOID IT AT ALL COST!! I started…read moregoing there for cleaning and when the hygienist Elena was there she did a good job. The first dentist there a long time ago was fine but then I had to deal with Dr Lender and that's when it became clear that this wasn't safe anymore. I dealt with Dr Lender for a cavity and to say that he did a poor job is an understatement. Not only was he RUDE, COLD and DRY, he also was INCOMPETENT. I saw how dirty of a job he did when I moved on to a different dentist and my new dentist showed me close up photos. Just as an example, after the filling was done, I told him that my bite was off, he refused to accept my answer and shut me down saying that my perception was off because I was still numb. Sure enough when I came home and the numbness went away, it bothered me. I came back the next day to get it fixed. Another dentist did it but kept praising Dr Lender's excellent job the whole time and made sure to show me how my visit was an inconvenience in her schedule and how much of a favor they were doing me a favor. In other words, POOR communication if none, INCOMPETENCE, rude people (except Elena) and unconfortable place all round. Do yourself a favor and avoid it at all costs.

I've been meaning to leave a review for years, as LeClair is the best dentist I have ever found (of…read moreabout a half dozen). Very thorough cleanings by competent hygienists, and I very much appreciate Dr. Adriene's approach and manner - she is straightforward, but willing to 'keep an eye' on a situation. In the past dentists generally criticized my teeth and recommended fillings "to avoid" situations. In the 7 years I have been coming to LeClair they have not upsold me once, and haven't pursued a single filling (wow!). My teeth are doing well. I moved away from beverly over 5 years ago, but still make the trek back every 6 months for a cleaning.

One of the fillings did not feel right and felt infected. I went back not once, not twice, but three times. On the third visit, they redid the filling. I had zero relief. They referred me to an endodontist. It turned out I had a raging infection, and I needed an emergency root canal. Then, I needed the crown placed. Adrienne used all of her force to place the crown on my tooth. In my head, I thought this can't be normal. Due to the level of force, a large chunk of cement was stuck between my teeth. Adrienne "flossed" it out and told me to keep flossing until it came out. After the horrible experience, I found a new dentist (who, by the way, complimented my teeth on the first visit!). In the meantime, LeClair was difficult when it came to sending my records. The crown tooth was still bothering me. It took over A YEAR of visits for the dental hygienist at the new practice to work out the cement. If she hadn't gotten it out, I would have needed a new root canal. They have to redo one of Adrienne's fillings, and the current dentist said, "You don't need a dental degree to see that this was not filled properly." Looking at some of the other reviews, I am not alone in my sentiments. Go to Martins Dental in Beverly or Northern Star Dental in Danvers. Both are excellent practices.
