Dr. Dasti is fantastic. He is funny, honest and kind. He has been taking care of my teeth for years. A+ service.

I have been going to Dr. Keo's office for 8 years now. I also take my children to his office and so far we have had no complaints.

He began by asking me how I got there -- "by automobile or train" -- then followed with a sarcastic remark about horse and carriage. Obviously, I was there for my wisdom teeth, and his tone immediately felt condescending. Instead of explaining things clearly, he relied on medical jargon and made me watch a generic video that was supposed to "answer all my questions." At the end, he actually quizzed me on what the video said, rather than taking the time to talk through the procedure with me directly. When I expressed that I was scared, he completely ignored me. He just repeated over and over how my risks have gone up because of my age, but gave no real information about anesthesia options, what to expect during surgery, or how recovery would work. At one point, he sat with his back turned to me for over 10 minutes while dictating notes into a device. I don't think I've ever been in an appointment where the doctor completes all of their documentation with me still sitting in the room. At one point, he stuck a probe in my mouth, let go of it so it was hanging there stepped back, and joked about how "see that shouldnt happen, that's the pocket where your tooth is." It felt careless and unprofessional. Overall, there was zero compassion or empathy. I left the appointment feeling shaken, uncared for, and even more anxious than when I arrived. This was not the kind of care or professionalism I would expect from a dental specialist. I would not recommend Dr. Hornung to anyone seeking wisdom teeth removal.

I decided it was time to have them pulled and get dentures and eventually implants. I knew it would not be a walk in the park, I also know that humans make mistakes. After a full extraction, tori removed and then an alveoloplasty surgery. It was finally time to start my permanent dentures, which are signature elites. Spent 6 days in a row going in for castings, fitting ect. The day they were ready I went in and Dr. Zhiqiang Huang had left to see family in another country. So Dr. Alexandra Zarifis was the one to deliver my permanent dentures, which I am now in my bedroom crying from the pain that is radiating down the side of my face into my jaw, my gums are burning and I can not even think straight. Dr. Alexandra Zarifis Couldn't get my permanent in my mouth, but she kept pushing ignoring me saying "No please that hurts" She wanted to adjust them, which allowed them to go in but not without passing the through the pain and pushing past my bone. The next morning I screamed as I put them in, the pain I felt immediately after extraction and having to take them in and out. The jump everytime I talk and move, I can't eat again and now have problems swallowing. The ulcers, redness, bone I have had crack off my jaw last night, crying in pain, the constant throbbing. I NEVER thought I'd feel this again. I thought the painful, hard part was over. Did I expect to be sore, yes but this type of pain, absolutely not. She prescribed me ibuprofen 800 which don't even get rid of my headache. She told me that unfortunately that's all that Aspen allows. Ummm. I've had 19, PLUS Tori and then another surgery for alveoloplasty. I have bone ripping through my gums. AGAIN The pain is radiating down my face and now when I take them out, the pain doesn't go away. I can't eat even with my gums now. If she thought I would not go home and research Aspen dentals guidelines, she was sadly mistaken. How about a doctors code of ethics? I have those memorized from being my dying mothers healthcare proxy and caregiver. A doctor's code of ethics is not something Aspen can overrule. I'm willing to guess Aspen knows this from reading their GUIDELINES. I have dealt with far to many doctors saying things that are untrue, regardless if its intentional or not. I would like to add that Dr. Zhiqiang Huang and his other staff did everything possible to work with through this process.
