Just went there for a root canal. When I got home noticed there was something in my mouth. It was a gauge the hadn't taken out. Plus asked the dentist to send the pai medication to Walgreens on Plain St. but they for whatever reason it was send to CVS on Bridge St. Which i live nowhere near. I called to the office early in the morning and let them know they eventually re-send it to Walgreens, late in the afternoon, after the pain went away. Plus office didn't look all that clean. Because we were unavoidably detained on 8/9/25 for a 1:30 appointment for my son, I called at 1:25 to advise the office. I was told, "Dental Dreams, please hold." When we finally arrived, I was still on hold...yet the two women at the desk were sitting there ...not on phones AT ALL. They denied that ANYone was on hold...yet my phone was chirping to us ALL to "please hold." They acknowledged that I'd dialed the correct phone number. Now that we were late (without notice, mind you...because I'd been on hold), they suggested that the office had stopped seeing patients after 1:30...it was now 1:40 (P.S. the dental technician kindly agreed to see him even though we were late)...the ONLY good experience Then I asked to speak with the Office Manager, but (of course) she didn't work on Saturdays. I was told that I could call to speak with her on Monday. What a shock. NOT. I wonder if, when I call, I will be put on endless hold again?? What to expect from dental dream in lowell form two people. I think his name is Dr. Kishan, had my appointment with A female doctor cannot remember the name she is Asian or Chinese. She was great. the dental assistance there are so nice and respectful, except for this one doctor that was swearing and yelling at one of his assistance. He should be thankful for having great dental assistants without the dental assistance, he would have no help at all, he does not appreciate them at all, that doctor is so rude and nasty. He should be fired from there do not ever go see Dr. Kishan. He has no respect for his dental assistances or for the girls in the front desk they are very nice and helpful. So disrespectful. As well what an awful experience with just the place itself very deteriorated Office looks very old-fashioned. The instrument do not work the their instruments are always broken and it looks like they have a very short budget for new items. Their office looks very rundown clean but very rundown. Osha should go in and shut it down Because all the instruments are very old if I could put pictures of what the office looks like you would understand what I am talking about this used to run so good before and now I think it is the new manager Dose not care about the Office at All. They overbooked patients all the time due to managers orders all this manager does is demand to book patients as many as they can. This place overworks their employees so much they don't get holidays at all so sad, they should be reported to OSHA and labor board. I know all this because I was booked for a 11:30 I did not get seen until 12:30 left the office at 3:45pm. I was there for a long time and all I wanted was a cleaning that should've lasted 30 minutes but due to the overbooking of patients at the same time I was there almost all day that's how I know all this. I was in office on 4/25/32 due to very bad tooth pain. I call them at 1:30 and gave me an emergency appointment at 2:30. Thank god I was in so much pain. Everyone was so kind to me and very polite. I am very pleased with them and have recommended them to friends many time. I end up with very bad infection in my gums on one side. I was treated by a wonderful Dentist and his assistance. This practice is more like a comedy routine than a real dental practice. After confirming my appointment twice, I arrived on time and waited for about 20 minutes in the waiting room. Apparently, they overbook because they expect that people won't come. While I was waiting, I filled out some routine forms, one of which asked me to sign a statement saying that I had understood the doctor's treatment plan. I explained to the receptionist that I had not yet seen the doctor, and she replied "yes, honey, just sign the form." The other person at the desk told me that I could wait until I spoke to the doctor before signing, and the other one gave in. I eventually made it to the examination room, waited another ten minutes, and a very nice person took X-rays. Another ten minutes passed, and someone walked in and said he was going to polish my teeth. I thought "That usually comes at the end..." but allowed it; after all I'm not a dental hygienist. As he worked, he told me that it was very crowded because "usually not everyone comes in." He managed to get to most of my teeth. Finally, the "doctor" came in and told me that I had a cavity under a crown and that it would cost over $1,000 to fix. I had to sign a form authorizing the treatment before she would clean my teeth. I argued with her, rephrased the agreement, signed, and she proceeded to drench me with a water pick. I have never had such a half-assed cleaning in my life. I am very suspicious of her diagnosis and am going to another dentist. I was there for a total of an hour and a half. read more

Dental Dreams has been one of the best places to work with for the care of my mother. Mass Health Dental is rarely accepted so I am pleased to have found a competent facility that offers high quality care. My 72 year old mom hates the dentist normally but since going here she is no longer in fear of going. She is in a wheel chair and they kindly work on her by moving the large dental chair out of the way. Mr. Dr. Patel was kind and thorough and made a management treatment plan. Ms. Dr Powers "did a good job and didn't hurt me" according to my mom when she filled her cavities. Mom has a few extractions to do and I am confident the treatment will go well. The staff is always kind and considerate. The facility is clean and spacious and has a play area for the younger ones. I couldn't be more pleased. read more

Tons of blood and they don't even do a good job suctioning it out (but I could see - out of the corner of my eye - that hose was FILLED with a bright red liquid). I knew what I was getting into when I went to this establishment. I wasn't expecting 5 star anything, just a decent cleaning. Front desk was friendly, wait was barely 5 minutes... the experience went downhill from there. Awkward x-rays, Rushed & haphazard "cleaning" using a lot of water sprayers that soaked my face (literally, an assistant came over with a towel to wipe me off) water dripped down my neck, soaked my collar.. It just wasn't pleasant. I guess on the plus side I was in & out in 20 minutes but personally I think my sonic care brush does a better job with less mess. Even after my sloppy cleaning, I decided to give this place another shot for fillings... Big mistake. Waited an HOUR AND A HALF for my appointment so by the time I get into my "room" for fillings, I'm in a foul mood. The fillings themselves were probably the best part of my experience. A week after my appointment I have horrible jaw pain & can't chew anything on the 2 teeth they filled or I get a shooting pain down to the root of my tooth. So I call & let them know I think the fillings are too high. Go back a third time.. Again wait AN HOUR before they see me.. A different dentist than who did the original fillings sees me & drills what he thinks are the fillings, nicking the side of my tongue in the process. So basically I leave with a swollen cut tongue & painful fillings that are still too high which I am now paying a third dentist out of pocket to fix. Don't go here. Just don't. read more

Two dental assistants, I assume, walked into the room asked me, the patient's mother, what they would be doing today and both kept giving me different information when I told them what we were there for. My son also sees an orthodontist and he stated my son needed to have 1 more tooth removed, the rest will fall out on their own. Went back to the dentist and they ended up taking out 4 teeth...FOUR TEETH FOR NO REASON! Now my son has 4 holes in his mouth and no meat eating teeth on the top row. Worst experience! I brought in my at the time 4 years old for a routine cleaning. She had a X-ray done. Those thing they put in the kids mouth are big and makes them gag. My 4 years old had to get it done a couple times before they had the right image. Well once that was done the assistant walks away pointing a finger gun to her own head. Another assistant knew I saw it and let her know. When the dentist finally came this assistant would not dear come in and had to call in another assistant. Absolute WORST dental experience I have ever had. I needed to have a veneer rebonded and I called and they told me over the phone if I could get there by 12:30 they could help me (keep in mind this is a Saturday but I woke up and my veneer was loose so like, had to get it fixed). I even had the secretary check with one of the doctors so I wouldn't be driving there and wasting anyone's time because I know most dentistries close early on Saturdays, if they're even open at all. She says I'm all set. I get there, check in, am sitting in the chair waiting to be seen, and they then tell me that they do not have the correct bond and the service is not possible to complete. As I'm literally sitting in the patient room laying on the chair. The doctor then proceeds to give me a list of other dentistries around me that can see me on a Saturday, did not even attempt to assist calling to get me in anywhere else, and conveniently gave me a list of closed places. The lack of general knowledge and proper customer service is truly appalling. Avoid this place. read more

I use to be a patient here for a few years and I'm SO GLAD I no longer go here. But I thought I warn some of you's. Yesterday I found out from my current dentist that most of my previous fillings (done by Dental Dreams) was not cleaned properly before filling which eventually caused decaying INSIDE my teeth. My current dentist took his time removing all of my old fillings and discovered they were ALL in HORRIBLE condition due to the lack of not being done properly. During my time at Dental Dreams I remember they barely took time to evaluate and seemed to being getting things done "too quickly". I should've taken that as a sign to leave sooner but I was a lot younger at the time and didn't know any better. I have very little positive things to say about thus place. The few nice things I can say is the main spanish girl up front is excellent and there's a young man up front that is very friendly and personable and answered all my questions in detail without making me feel like a pest. And the male dental assistant that helped me was top notch and deserves better than this dump. That being said, the rest of the staff was unpleasant and unprofessional at best. There's a few reasons why I won't be returning: 1) the wait time is insane. It seems they overbook patients and care more about money than than anything else. 2) The doctors seems like they don't give a crap about you. 3) Half of the staff at the front desk are awful. One girl barked at me simply because I had a question about a payment and she spoke to me like I was a child. One girl was just straight up watching movies on her phone and ignored me when I asked a question when no one else was up front. She didn't even bother to turn the volume down for f*cks sake. 4) It's highly unprofessional to hear two of the girls up front talking smack about patients that are 10 feet away from them. Also the amount of swears and racial slurs I heard from one girl was startling. I could go on but what's the point? This place is downright awful with even more terrible management from what I can see. Train your staff better and treat your patients with some respect. Will never go back there. read more

Very unprofessional, they said my son didn't have insurance but my daughter does. How does that make sense the policy number is the same for both of them. I called the insurance up to see what was going on and gave the phone to the girl at the front desk. After about 30 seconds or so of them talking she throws the phone at me an says the lady was rude and she isn't dealing with them and then started joking and laughing with her desk mates about how the lady was rude. I'm with you, I got two lower wisdom teeth pulled The other day. The procedure was fast but I could Still feel pain as they were ripping my teeth out of my head. The worst part is that I only got 8-5mg-500mg vicodin-acetaminophen pills.. Was told I can't get anymore after I told them I have a high tolerance to pain killers Because of my back. been coming here for like 2+ yrs now and i can say i was and am a little scared sometimes as i see how busy this place is and the amount of doctors and patient turnover ... looks like a huge capitalist cash crop to me ... take my money !!!..... i will say they provide alot more services then some dentistry offices do and i wish they had some extended services which they do not ... this is not a bad review by any means but they have a huge clientele day in and out so sometimes i feel rushed and i have had some cleanings in the past that may have been rushed and not thorough as they should be but then again i have needed extensive dental work so they may have treated me as " hey he needs more then that , lets take it easy and deal with it in waves?" ... i had a few cavities , quite a few ..... they a re a super busy office but i will say they treat the patient really well , are reasonably priced for their services and i was lucky enough to get assigned Dr. Patel for all my dental work ... hes pulled some miracles off for me and has done some really awesome work..... i would not overlook this place ... they are a growing business with a huge clientele .....im very happy with my doctor and i will continue to return ... he knows his stuff and is handling my dental needs every time !!!! read more

The absolute WORST! I had an abscess and the tooth needed to be pulled! BIG MISTAKE! As the dentist started pulling I could feel everything and he gave me a little more novacane (sp), I could still feel him pulling and he just did not care. I wish I remembered his name because he was incredibly rude and arrogant! He then realized that he had to dig my tooth out and he stopped mid dig for a meeting. Apparently... the district manager was there and made everyone come to a mandatory impromptu meeting. I was left there in the dental chair, profusely bleeding and in complete agony! After 20 minutes he came back and didn't even apologize. At this point I could feel everything but I just wanted to get out of there. I left in agony and later that day I had 2 huge black eyes. Because they accepted Mass Health I felt they just did not care about any of their patients. I ran to Gentle Dental in Chelmsford the next day. They were amazing and literally so gentle I could not believe it. The dentist there could not believe the botched job that Dental Dreams (nightmares) did on me. There was no bone left and the dentist had to do reconstruction in order to do a bridge (a bridge had to be done due to all of the damage). This cost me over 6k but was happy to pay it. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO Dental Dreams in Lowell!!!! Gentle Dental on Alpine Street is the place to go and I have been going there ever since. read more

This place is horrible. Having an allergy where your throat closes to ibuprofen, them have the dr and nurse to continually tell you to take it. Ok are they trying to kill me. The the want to rip out a bunch of teeth over the fact my Harvard pilgrim cover nothing but mass health will cover pulled teeth. My filling is chipped. This place is a disaster. Don't go. we've had 5 family members see various dentists here for the last few years, and overall the experience has been positive. They are good at scheduling appointments when we can go. We have not had problems, and they've done cleanings, exams and a few fillings. My teeth are sensitive at the gumline, and they have used a topical anesthetic so that the (ultrasonic?) cleaning would not be painful. If there were a 3.5 rating, I'd go for that. read more

HORRIBLE! Since my other dentist no longer takes my insurance, I had to find somewhere for a cleaning. And this is by far the worst cleaning I have ever had. It was so fast and poorly done where I was in pain as she was cleaning my teeth. They didnt do half the things that my other dentist did ..very careless. I had to keep rinsing my mouth because there was a lot of blood! As the dentist was looking at my x-rays she couldnt even figure out if I had a cavity or not and was really rude when I asked her about it, so she needed to get a second opinion. I will never go here again and never had problems with a dentist. As I was leaving the lady in the front went over a piece of paper with me and then walked away, didnt tell me I was good to go so I stood there for about 3 minutes then asked if I was all set and she said yea, very unprofessional to a patient as you see me standing there! i take my 70 year old mother and mother in law to dental dreams. Have been taking them there for over three years now. The dentists and staff have changed over time, but I found that they (the ladies) were treated very well. I am very pleased that they accept masshealth standard and are able schedule appointments at very short notice. The old ladies are pleased that they are not given the run around, are treated courteously, and that the dentists have taken into account the other medications they are on and have worked with them. read more

Last year after bringing my son home from 9 months in a hospital after a traumatic brain injury, he needed dental work from the lack of oral care in the hospital and I took him here and was so happy that Dr. Alarcon was able to restore a lot of his teeth. I took him there today for his six month cleaning that dr. alarcon is no longer there and that they would give me a reference to take him to boston for a specialist that they couldn't do the cavity work that took the new dr.20 minutes to look at just one slide and that she would just clean his teeth and polish them. That took her all of 2 minutes before she said I can't do this so we will just polish them and you can take him to Boston so they can put him to sleep and do everything at one time. This is such bull because he sat perfectly still while they worked on this teeth, I could see on this dr's face that she did not want to work on someone handicapped and when she gave me the referral it stated "patient is handicapped and uncooperative." The one that was uncooperative was the dr. and her assistant and now I have to search again for a dr willing to work on someone confined to a wheelchair for his appointments. This woman was rude and her facial features showed her feelings, I was glad to have my son's caretaker with us that witnessed all of this. I will not go back to have her insult my son or me again........ read more

Save your self the hassle. It's a revolving door of dentist straight of school looking to practice on children. If your an adult going there. That's your first mistake. Dental Dreams is based on working on children under the age of 13. Simple cleaning and extractions. I had a root canal done out in Boston and had them put the crown in for over $1000.00 dollars and they completely messed it up and chipped the tooth in front of the crone they where working on. I had to pay out of pocket for the tooth the dentist chipped. I later found out the crown was put in incorrectly. When I went in for a cleaning the smug doctors told me he would not work on me without using Novocaine which I am allergic to. The dentist prior did all of the work with no novocaine. My thresh hold for pain is very high and all the work I've had done on my mouth. I have to pay out of pocket for a anesthesiologist for root canals. Find anywhere else in Lowell read more
