I debated over another 51-30 or the new Nixon Mission SS smart watch(which she mentioned I should check out as well) for about a week in which they were very patient as I stopped by the store several times to try them on. I finally decided to go with the Mission SS and she put the order in for me right away. The staff said it is water resistant, not steam resistant. I was so surprised to hear that since this is one of my more than 10 watches and none of them ever get steam inside. I was in the neighbourhood, so getting to his store was really easy. Parking outside on Hastings was plenty, so that definitely makes things a lot easier. I was greeted by the same friendliness on the phone and told him I was the one that he spoke to 10 minutes ago. He took my watch into the back to open up and check what type of battery it required. It was a simple replacement and he charged me $12.xx for the whole thing. I was in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes, so service was definitely quick, friendly, and efficient. I would highly recommend everyone that has any sort of watch issue give Andrew a try. I think I've found my new watch guy! Bonus points for having a very cute little dog!

We were initially going to take this to the Omega boutique close by home but upon learning they ship their watches internationally she wanted to find someone local who could handle it. They searched and were fortunate to find Norbert! He fixed the most immediate areas and guided against fixing all the damage but managed to get it back working as it is has never worked so well before. His work is thoughtful and he was extremely honest so well worth the investment in her watch.
