Friendly honest and polite. I ended up not getting the repair on my clock because of the price. I appreciated their honesty up front.

When we recently returned to have the ring repaired, we were informed that the warranty would not be honored because the company had previously gone through bankruptcy. As a customer who paid specifically for lifetime coverage, I am extremely disappointed that the warranty is no longer being recognized. I believe customers should have been clearly informed of how a bankruptcy could affect warranty obligations.

At first we thought it was a very nice place to buy Jewellery from. We bought our daughter a ring for graduation. Before buying the ring we ask Ashuka, the sale associate that help us about the sizing. We told her the approximate size and she said yes that would be fine. Ashuka, said to purchase their ring sizing program as we did. Not only were we mislead about the sizing but we were also mislead about the Stones, in the ring they too are fake. After buying the ring with the sizing program and giving it to our daughter, which she really loved the ring. She couldn't wait to go to Willowbrook Mall in Langley, the next day to get her ring sized. She took the ring in to get it sized, but was told by another assoiate that they couldn't size the ring that the program only allow up to 2 ring sizes. On the inside of the sizing program it states 3 sizes. But Ashuka, assured us that we could get it sized no problem. I took the ring to an actual jeweler, and found out that it was a fake ring that we paid to much for the ring. SO BUYER BEWARE before buying from this place do your research and know what you are buying. Or else places like this will rip you off. The staff is very unprofessional when dealing with customer service issues. The saddest part of it all is that our daughter really loved the ring. Thanks Ben Moss for spoiling this huge accomplishment of our daughter's graduation.

I live in Seattle, but there aren't many small independent watch/clock repair shops around where I live, and this shop sounded like a gem from the yelp reviews. And it was. I randomly walked in with 9 watches past 5 pm on Friday (one of them was a little more complicated), and Mr. Hiew told me they could be ready by noontime on Monday. Wow. I've walked into a pretty well-known jeweler (B*n Bri**es) by where I live, and they'd say, "We'll call you when it's ready" (which is like a week later) or sometimes even "We have to send this out." But no nonsense like that here. It's all business. Love it. I went back a little after lunchtime on Monday, and sure enough, they were ready and packaged, with detailed description of each watch written down. This man is dedicated to watches and clocks. He's even wearing a Renata mask. (I've never even seen a Renata mask. He must be a good customer.) In case you don't know (like one previous reviewer), Renata batteries are what's considered most reliable and long lasting. They're used in the likes of Rolex (Oysterquartz), Tag Heuer and Breitling. Renata batteries cost a little more, but if your shop uses them despite the cost, you know they care. I paid 15 CAD for 8 of the watches and 25 CAD for the more complicated one. I'm a happy camper. In Seattle they charge more and do less (they'd say things like, "...and waterproofing would be extra charge"). An unassuming shop that doesn't even have a sign outside, but has customers coming back? That's my kind of shop. I'll definitely come back when I'm in town.

My fiance bought my engagement ring there and I couldn't be happier with what he picked with the help of the GT staff. When I finally went in for my ring appraisal, the owner of the store greeted us and even asked about the proposal story, just like we were friends! GT is unlike any other jewellery store (especially those franchise ones) who only cares about selling. I was also really impressed with the selection of items they carry. All of them looked like they're amazing quality! We'll be back to get our wedding bands from there, even though its location is really out of the way from where we live.

Their staff assured me it would be no problem and if the ring was sized down it would NOT be oval. I double and triple checked by asking him over again. 1 week later I go to pick up the ring and the first thing I noticed was that the ring was oval and that the ring was completely scratched from the jeweler using their tools. They felt comfortable giving that ring as a finished product to their customer... I first addressed the staff about how 50 percent of the band was completely scratched, which they took another week to fix and polish (which should have been done before they gave it to me). Once i got back the ring, I told them it was oval and the initial staff member promised me it would be perfectly round. Softer I explained what the problem Was, I asked for my money back, which they did. While I was waiting for the refund, the staff asked me if it really mattered if it was oval and if my future fiance cared that it would be oval. Now I am stuck with an oval ring that can't be returned. I would never have gotten the ring sized down if they had been honest with me from the beginning. I'm sure their staff is good with their own in-store ready to go displayed products, but in my experience i would not bring your jewelry in that store if you need resizing, repair, seeking advice or wanting knowledge. Don't make the same mistake I made, go find a reputable jewelry store with a jeweler on site. Very disappointed and would never go back.

The mountain has special meaning and is really important to both her and my whole family. The photo on the left is the design I sent them, the photo on the right is the job they did. It looks absolutely horrible and absolutely nothing like what I asked for. When I told them I was not happy with what they did, they refused to do anything about it. They won't return my money, they wont give me a new blank necklace so I can take it somewhere else to get it engraved properly. They can't buff it out because the necklace is already so thin and the lines they carved into it are so deep. Not only did this cost me close to $500 and I had to save up money for this special gift, I now don't have her Christmas gift ready in time due to this abysmal job. I can't give this horrible work to her, it looks like a toddler did it. The design is crooked, the lines have mistakes and there are random marks all over it. It's just so bad. I probably could have done a better job honestly. I spent over 40 minutes in store after receiving it, asking for them to give me my money back or give me a new necklace. I spoke directly to the owner. They kept arguing and refusing to give me a refund, even going so far to insult me as to try to sell me another necklace they had for 50% off. I was actually crying from the way they were talking to me. This is disgusting to do to a family at Christmas time. I will provide an update if the business resolves this issue but buyer beware. They will take your money, do a pathetic job and do nothing about it.
