Friendly honest and polite. I ended up not getting the repair on my clock because of the price. I appreciated their honesty up front.

I've loved all of my experiences at Golden Tree. The staff are very knowledgeable and kind, they…read moretreated us with care. My fiance bought my engagement ring there and I couldn't be happier with what he picked with the help of the GT staff. When I finally went in for my ring appraisal, the owner of the store greeted us and even asked about the proposal story, just like we were friends! GT is unlike any other jewellery store (especially those franchise ones) who only cares about selling. I was also really impressed with the selection of items they carry. All of them looked like they're amazing quality! We'll be back to get our wedding bands from there, even though its location is really out of the way from where we live.

I went in and asked the staff if a ring I had purshased could be resized down without making it…read moreslightly oval. Their staff assured me it would be no problem and if the ring was sized down it would NOT be oval. I double and triple checked by asking him over again. 1 week later I go to pick up the ring and the first thing I noticed was that the ring was oval and that the ring was completely scratched from the jeweler using their tools. They felt comfortable giving that ring as a finished product to their customer... I first addressed the staff about how 50 percent of the band was completely scratched, which they took another week to fix and polish (which should have been done before they gave it to me). Once i got back the ring, I told them it was oval and the initial staff member promised me it would be perfectly round. Softer I explained what the problem Was, I asked for my money back, which they did. While I was waiting for the refund, the staff asked me if it really mattered if it was oval and if my future fiance cared that it would be oval. Now I am stuck with an oval ring that can't be returned. I would never have gotten the ring sized down if they had been honest with me from the beginning. I'm sure their staff is good with their own in-store ready to go displayed products, but in my experience i would not bring your jewelry in that store if you need resizing, repair, seeking advice or wanting knowledge. Don't make the same mistake I made, go find a reputable jewelry store with a jeweler on site. Very disappointed and would never go back.

Dropped a ring off here to have the stone put back in (it had fallen out). Didn't hear anything for…read morealmost 2 weeks so decided to call. Lady on the phone said she didn't know what was happening but would call me back. Never called me back. I call them the next day and she says they chipped the stone and are ordering a new one from Italy, no cost to me. I never got a call informing me the stone had been chipped while in their possession so that obviously leads me to believe they were planning to pop a new stone in without saying anything hoping I wouldn't notice. I go in to get the ring back. They want to charge me $500 for re setting the stone and the cost of the new stone. I gently inform the lady helping me that the replacement of the stone was supposed to be covered by them, since they had chipped it. She got the manager. Manager is very short with me and does not listen to me while I try to calmly explain the situation and continually cuts me off. 2 months later, the new ring that they "ordered brand new from Italy" has a chip in it where the claw holds on. So the goldsmith pushed the claw too hard into the stone causing it to chip. And the stone is now also very loose because of this, making the ring completely unwearable. So the issue was not even fixed in the first place. Their store is conveniently closed permanently now, so I can't file a complaint with them to fix the ring that they had damaged. My only option is to pay several hundred out of pocket to fix their mistake. This ring is a family heirloom so this is extremely upsetting.

I would give Langley Creative Goldsmith a 0 star if possible. I never write reviews, but this is…read moreliterally the only avenue I have left to voice my frustration and warn others away. I have had nothing but headaches working with them. I bought an engagement ring from them 5 years ago, and brought the ring in early this year to replace a couple of the small stones that had fallen out, and to tighten the claws. When they returned it, the centre diamond had a big black mark through it. When I asked what had happened, they said it might just be dirt and that they'd clean it for me. They kept it for a week, then called me to come in and pick it up. They said that black mark was still visible, but that they "did their best". The STORE MANAGER (who has a permanent sneer and a terrible personality) tried to convince me to take it home as is. Wtf? To reiterate: the stone did not have any black mark in it before they worked on it. I finally had to escalate it to the store owner, who called me back and acknowledged that the stone was damaged during the cleaning using a laser, which he explained was incredibly rare. He offered me a replacement stone at a discounted rate (not free, despite the fact that they damaged it in the first place). I finally got my ring back this spring with the new centre stone and the replaced diamonds along the side. A few days ago, I noticed that two small diamonds were missing from the halo. I took it in to get looked at by a separate jeweller, hoping to just avoid Creative Goldsmith entirely. This jeweller has an in-house goldsmith who confirmed that there are actually 4 diamonds missing in total, that the claws are not in good shape, and that overall the repair work wasn't great quality. I was quoted almost $1,000 to replace the 4 missing diamonds and fix the claws. In no universe should a ring that was so recently (within 5 months) repaired be missing 4 diamonds. I'm not rough with my ring - it's my engagement ring so I wear it daily, but I work in an office and take it off when I shower or when I go to the gym. They suggested I go back to Creative Goldsmith to ask if they can repair it as it shouldn't be damaged so soon. I was completely dreading going back to Creative Goldsmith. Based on all of my interactions so far, I knew they weren't going to offer any solution. Big surprise, I go in and explain the situation, and they tell me it's not under warranty anymore, but that they can send it away to get a quote. My expectations for this store are subterranean, and as expected there was no acknowledgement that it was even faintly odd that so many diamonds fell out in the few months I've had it after their "repair" work. I have no interest in giving this company anymore of my money. And more importantly, I don't trust the quality of their work. You shouldn't either. I also don't trust leaving my ring with them at all - who knows what kind of damage it'll have next time I pick it up? They should be held accountable for such terrible craftsmanship, but as a customer I really have no power here. The most I can do is write this review. tldr: Learn from my experience. Just don't shop here.

The jewelry was unworn it was not final sale and was within the 30 day return policy agreements. She went to the store on 2 separate occasions to return the same jewellery and they told her lies both times. They first told her the jewelry she bought was final sale, and that is a lie. When my mom was buying it knows it she asked if it was final sale and they told her that it was NOT final sale, and she could return it if she didn't like it. They then told her that they cannot return as she has returned "too many things". She has made 2 returns and the store one in 2021 and one in 2020, and this year is clearly shown on her records. Even if she had made more returns, it does not say anywhere on their return policy that you can only make a certain amount of returns a year. We also spoke to the regional manager and she was extremely rude. She told us more lies, and basically told us it was not her problem. We have tried everything and they still won't let us return the jewelry. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND ARE JUST TRYING TO MAKE PROFITS.

This is a 5 star establishment and buying experience in every category!…read more No idea why the 3 stars rating on here even though I read all the reviews.... Nicki Holborn was our associate in assisting us in picking the perfect engagement ring. She was fantastic. Extremely professional, personable, no pressure sales, and she knows her craft. I don't know who else works there, but if you arrive in 2020, ask for Nicki and you will be in good hands. She went out of her way in everything that was asked, from asking specific questions about diamond quality, making payment arrangements, customizing our ring, and providing prompt follow ups every step of the way. Managed to do all that without seeming pushy or having a sales agenda. The diamonds are beautiful and the craftsmanship is far and above anything you might buy in a mall jewelry store. The prices for the quality were far better too. When initially shopping, Nicki told us not to waste our time looking around, but we didn't listen, and yes, we wasted a few hours looking around at the local malls. Spence diamonds are superior in quality and a better value with what we chose to buy. The mall salespersons were also pushy and generally unknowledgeable about diamonds in general. Spence Diamonds specializes in diamonds and their staff are not run of the mill salespeople; they know their stuff. Great experience and will definitely be back for the wedding band and any other jewelry needs we may have.

Upon entering the shop, I am greeted in a friendly manner and offered a quick introduction about the boutique. Featuring local and international artists, who make unique and individualized jewelry from necklaces to broches to rings to bags. At that time, there was a collection of necklaces featuring endangered plants. Placed elegantly in well-cleaned glass cases, I was able to read about the endangered plant and admiring the skills of the created pieces. On the next display, there were trending pieces from an international place (I forgot where) of these black flat, foam like necklaces. Light as air, and when placed on the wearer, it appeared to look like a tattoo. Really interesting pieces! Other displays featured, wishbone necklaces to aboriginal-like jewelry to canvas/wool bags to abstract rings. At the back of the store, there is an area from which an artist is found making jewelry on the spot! I also learned that they are able to make custom pieces for you, but I'm not sure how much. A really nice and trendy boutique. After leaving the store, I checked-in and realized there was a check-in offer of a Free Jewelry Cleaning. With that, I will definitely be returning and to see what other artist's jewelry they are featuring.
