I stumbled upon this store way back in February/March during the Van Wert Chocolate Walk. It was on of the stops and the moment I walked in the store, i gave an audible gasp. This place was beautiful! The decor was amazing! I was immediately imagining how it would look like in the house i was buying. I knew at that moment this store was dangerous... because it would separate me from my money in no time! I spoke with the owner of the store, Joanne, when i found out that they also did drapes. My new home came with some awfully garish drapes... purple drapes!?!?! Black drapes for a dining room? Ridiculous! I needed some new drapes and Joanne promised me she would show me some great options. She came to my new home and measured, she came up with someone wonderful ideas. During this time i also found out she was an interior designer. I just hired her to help me decorate the home and get me new drapes and decor to make my home beautiful. This was a great decision! Joanne has impeccable taste! She listens and understands the type of style her customers have... she then takes that and brings pieces that tastefully use that style to adorn and enrich your home. So much of my home decor now is from her store! I love how beautiful my home is!!!! Love it!!!!! If you are looking to change the drapes in your home... this is the place! If you need new decor for your home... come here! If you need an awesome interior designer... call Joanne! I am so thankful that u stumbled onto this incredible business during the chocolate walk!

Getting him anything is always a chore, as he is difficult to buy for. He is, though, a pretty religious guy and i thought this store might have something he would like. I was in luck, there was a statute of a Jesus fish made out of wood. He actually ended up really liking it, which is a rare thing as usually he never has liked my gifts. While here, though, i found this store also sells greeting cards, home and garden decor. Definitely something i love. More importantly, i found two gifts to give to my best friend apple for Christmas. They were side gifts to supplement the main item i would get her. One was a sign that said "I need 3 coffees, 6 puppies, & like 12 million dollars"... so her and "your the friend everyone wishes they had". She totally is the bestest friend i have ever had! She loved those when she got them. So an awesome store with stuff i would like for my home... that helped me find something my dad loved and also brought a smile to my best friend!!!! Score!! If your in the area, you need to check out this place!

I actually didn't event notice it as it shares the same space as the coffee shop, there is a door to the left as you enter the coffee shop. Such a small little place but filled with plenty of gift items for friends and loved ones as well as amazing decor to beautify your home! It also sells amazing scented three wick candle jars! Some of the best candles i ever used and last way longer than any others! Place also sells handmade soaps, but i have not tried those yet. If you are in Van Wert, you should definitely stop by! Take a look and shop and then get a great coffee at Brewed Expressions!

We missed so many shops in Michigan because they wouldn't allow well behaved dogs! Their loss! The owner, Sabrina, is as sweet as her shop! There are SO many wonderful things at reasonable prices and the place is bigger than it looks! It's neat, tidy, and well organized. My only complaint is that it is over 2 hours from where I live! I found a sweet artist print that I took home but had to pass on a furniture piece that we didn't have room for! Don't miss this one if you love antiques, collectibles or home decor!! We will be back again!

I first came by Lee's Ace Hardware back on February for two reasons:…read more 1) I wanted to look thru the store and see if this was a store I could purchase hardware and other essentials from 2) I was looking to buy paint. I had just moved into my new home and some rooms needed to be repainted. I was pleased with their paint section. They sold a number of different paints by Benjamin Moore (which I have used in the past and really liked) as well as Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines. For those unfamiliar with who she is, she along with her husband Chip used to have a tv show called Fixer Upper, which I truly loved. Joanna Gaines is an amazing decorator and I had in the past bought some of her home decor online. The paint was beautiful and I almost did buy it. I may have gone with Sherwin Williams because the decorator and handyman I hired used this but it was almost painted with Magnolia Home. So if your looking for paint in the area, definitely check out Ace. I also explored the rest of the store in future occasions. They have a decently size outdoor furniture, decor and accessories area. They had some furniture I am definitely thinking about buying as well as their bird feeders/baths. I have always had them in all my homes and I am planning on having bird bath and/or bird feeders again in my new home considering there are so many in my yard. It's just a pleasure to see nature and I take pleasure and am fascinated in seeing bird fly about since I was a child. I will get to it once I am done with my major changes to my home. That said the store does have a little bit of everything but most of the departments are a bit small so you may not find everything you are looking for. For example, I couldn't find a large enough garden hose, only finding 50-75 ft hoses and I need much larger ones. Staff is super friendly, always asking if they could help you with a smile. All in all, a good hardware store and a good choice in the Van Wert area.

The first time was two years ago when I first moved to the area, The Corner Treasures was one of my first stops at the Van Wert Chocolate Walk. I promised myself I would returned but then covid happened and so much else got in the way. Really wish I would have made time to check it out before they went out of business.

I am always prone to checking out jewelry but, I'd highly recommend looking at the rings and pendants around the cash register (I've added some photos). My favorite part was all the art work and vintage decor that is upstairs. The art is reasonably priced for original work($100-$200). I imagine all the unique pieces sell quickly. It's great shopping for farmhouse, mid-century and everything in between. Lastly, there was an extra friendly woman who was working and setting up a new display. She was helping all the customers even though she was busy! I highly recommend for some awesome shopping!

BEST decision ever last Friday afternoon. The owner is super attentive and will help you find exactly what you need. I was the only person in there during that time but I am sure she is always helping locals who stop in to find that perfect, unique gift. I was blown away at their diverse selection. Upstairs was vintage antiques- some items were expensive while others were reasonable. The prices were typical for any type of antique/boutique shops in the Fort Wayne area. Downstairs was a large selection of knick knack gifts. I especially noticed the different card selection- you won't find cards like these at Walgreens. Great for a personal touch. I was looking for a gift for my nephew's upcoming 2nd birthday. I was pleased to find a decent selection of child toys and clothes! I love finding him presents that are different from the limited selection at larger chain stores. In the back of the downstairs is a room filled with women's clothes, bags, accesories. I asked and some stuff is local (and she is always looking for more local goodies to sell!!! woohooo!) and some is produced in other states but not largely produced. You could tell by the quality that the items were hand stitched. I look forward to hitting up the Paper Moon next time I am in need of a unique, eclectic gift!
