I had to remove several staples out of some things before running them through the machine and they couldn't find a staple remover, so the manager left and magically reappeared with one that we could use! I also asked someone else where I could find stopwatches, not really thinking that they would have them, but she politely guided me to the spot where they were. They go over everything you need to know if you're a first timer and if you're a frequent flier they let you go wild with your ideas. The price of the piece you choose includes everything. We found Caroline's at the one stop shop hop a few years ago and have been wanting to visit her store. We were not disappointed. I do not think I could say one bad, negative thing. Everyone was so friendly. So helpful. My friend was picking fabrics for a small wall hanging. This is her first foray into civil war, reproduction fabrics. Caroline was so enthusiastic, it was inspiring to watch. She explained what she was thinking and looking for in her color choices. I bought three kits. I never, ever buy kits. The fun is choosing fabrics, right? But her color sense is beyond belief. I can't wait to get home and start sewing ! I can't wait to go back. Please visit. One World carries a whole multitude of interesting hand-made products crafted all over the world. The biggest difference between One World and every other place you might buy from is that One World is part of a movement called Fair Trade. That is, they actually pay people in other countries a fair wage for the sweat off their brow. We always find something interesting when we visit and the staff is always great. The staff member I encountered was both gracious and courteous. They carry a wide range of merchandise with no particular rhyme or reason, but it all flows, seamlessly. I loved the energy and vibe of the store. There is street parking on either side of the street. I purchased a tshirt on this visit and declared I'd be back to look around and shop again. Perhaps the most notable thing about the boutique store, there is a food pantry donation center located just outside the front entrance.
