Had a great time being creative. Staff helpful. Many color options and piece selections. Pricing was a little confusing at first.

This spaces oozes warm and creativity. From the inviting front porch overlooking pedestrians to the lofty attic overlooking the studio below. It's such a cute spot! We had a handful of kids with us so we quickly went about selecting our items to paint and getting down to business. I appreciated that they had booster seats available for toddlers to participate - gamechanger! I was surprised that the experience was a little pricier than what I'm used to in Indy - they charge a per head studio fee here in addition to the pottery selections which can quickly add up. We opted for a bowl, easter egg and cupcake to paint. They also had a variety of ornaments, seasonal decor and kid-friendly designs to choose from. The overall paint and pottery section was very well-organized. Better yet, this is all located a block from the canal and a great coffee shop. Recipe for a perfect morning!

They have such a cuuuute place. It's a renovated building and it has just the cutest, most colorful…read morecozy feel. I love that you have options when you come here - (1) you can either make something with clay (on a wheel or just at a normal table with a hunk of it to make something with), and then you come back to paint it and they will glaze it to finish it off (2)You can pick one of the ready-to-paint items on the shelves or (3) you can actually make glass plates. Be aware that if you paint anything, you will have to wait for it to be fired and come back within a few weeks to pick it up again. It is a good idea to call ahead if you plan on going in with any more than 1 or 2 people to make sure they have space at their tables, but it's usually not that big of an issue unless you're going around a holiday. If you want to do something with glass or the pottery wheel, you will need to schedule for that. They offer student discounts here for anyone with a student ID and often have seasonal pieces on sale near the end of the season. They also have a little rewards punch card and every $10 you get a hole punched - once the card is full you get 15% off your next visit. If you aren't able to go in during normal hours, they do give people the option to come on Wednesday's between 6-9, which is really nice. Absolutely love this little gem place.

The idea of this place is great. customer service falls extremely short. the website is also not…read moreclear on the pricing. when we signed up for the Christmas tree painting, my card was charged for what I thought was the full amount. when I called to check, I was informed that it was only charged for half. one tree was the 17 in (50% deposit was $125) and the other was a 9 inch (50% deposit was 47.50). when I questioned why it was so expensive, I was told "we are selling the memories" and that they understood that they are much more expensive than other places. I called back later to cancel my reservation. when the person answered the phone, she immediately stated that she would have her manager call me back because they do not offer refunds. she did not inquire about my name or any information and when I asked, she stated it was on caller ID. that was on 10/31/25. It was not until today (11/4/25) that someone contacted me stating they would not give me a refund. I was also told that they texted me on Friday however I have no message from them. I do understand that they have a "policy" which I would not complain about. however, telling me that you are charging me for memories is absurd. there are several places that offer this for 1/2 the price. I think the situation was handled extremely poor from their perspective. I will not be continuing with the reservation

I guess I was expecting at least the same as last year's experience, the staff was very nice. My 3 stars is because being jammed in a room was very uncomfortable.

A dear friend joined my husband and me for classes and we all had a blast making useful and fun items. Out friend, John, liked the table work better so made the coolest items from clay slabs. A beer mug for himself, a gorgeous plant pot for his mother and several items for his wife (gifts!) and others. Amazing! My husband and I used the wheel, so we made several plant pots, coffee mugs, dishes and other useful items. It is so rewarding to use your hands to watch something come to life. It was a blast and we walked away with handmade forever treasures. Do yourself a favor. Go check this place out!

We really enjoyed our time here, although we're perfectionist so we were there much longer than I thought we would be. But it was such FUN! After painting our pieces, you check it in to be fired then pay. At checkout I was asked if I had used glow in the dark paint or something else (I'm don't remember) which I didn't, but I guess there's an extra charge for that. I was probably told that by staff at the beginning & it just didn't register with me. Everyone in our group enjoyed themselves and are looking forward to returning soon. UPDATE: although we enjoyed our visit, the pick up process was not as fun. The day after the others in my group received texts that their items were ready for pick up & hI hadn't received a text yet. I decided to call to check & was told that they had no information. When I described the item, I was then told it was in the pile with the "Lost Contact Info" stuff and was ready to be picked up. A couple of hours later I went to get it. They couldn't find my item or any information. I was then told it was probably taken to be re-fired. I let her know about my previous call & that was not discussed. After looking in a couple different rooms, she did find my item. The pick up process seems a little unorganized. However, I did enjoy my time creating my "masterpice" :), and the staff was very helpful & friendly. With that said I will give them another try & hope for a smoother less confusing pickup process next time.

They have so many colors, stencils, tools, and of course the beloved eraser for the mistakes. The prices of the items are similar to what I have seen at other pottery settings, with so many unique items to choose from. The care that went into the firing and finishing process is evident in the lack of damages in my work and the thoughtful packaging when I picked up my piece. In my experience there was no extra charge for the firing process and the project took about 2 weeks to get my piece back, and I received a helpful message letting me know my piece was complete. Could not recommend this place more! For a solo trip, girls day, or even a more organized event with a group! Hope to be back soon!
