I was not greeted at all, no eye contact even. It was as if I wasn't there. I walked around the entire store hoping they'd make contact with me but for a half an hour, I got nothing. As I was walking through, one of the employees walked past me holding a box of some sort and as she walked behind me, she let her elbow rub along my back as if I was in her way. No excuse me, no I'm sorry. I didn't know what to think! I was so terribly disappointed by my visit that I don't think I will be back for some time if ever.

The first time was two years ago when I first moved to the area, The Corner Treasures was one of my first stops at the Van Wert Chocolate Walk. I promised myself I would returned but then covid happened and so much else got in the way. I was in luck, there was a statute of a Jesus fish made out of wood. He actually ended up really liking it, which is a rare thing as usually he never has liked my gifts. While here, though, i found this store also sells greeting cards, home and garden decor. Definitely something i love. More importantly, i found two gifts to give to my best friend apple for Christmas. They were side gifts to supplement the main item i would get her. One was a sign that said "I need 3 coffees, 6 puppies, & like 12 million dollars"... so her and "your the friend everyone wishes they had". She totally is the bestest friend i have ever had! She loved those when she got them. So an awesome store with stuff i would like for my home... that helped me find something my dad loved and also brought a smile to my best friend!!!! Score!!
