We have had Armstrong since they first came into Candlewood Lake in Mount Gilead. Previously the…read moreonly internet provider available before Armstrong, promised a measly 25 but we got only 5 to 10 sporadically because "we were at the end of the run". Needless to say, THAT was useless and it cost more. Armstrong consistently provides good reliable coverage and even offers seasonal holds for a $20 restart fee. But what i really like is their friendly availability, in unaccented English. I always feel bad when customer service is outsourced and I am constantly saying that I don't understand. Late last night, we could hear a whining sound somewhere in the house. Eventually we found it was coming from one of the Armstrong pods and the pod felt hot. We rebooted. Same problem so I called Armstrong technical support. She had me put the other pod where this one was and stayed with me until she could see everything was working. I had the choice to get the new pod mailed, pick up (no pickup place nearby), or brought out by a technician. I chose the last option because it also brought peace of mind. At the end of April, an overly tall moving truck took down the overhead wire to our neighbor. Armstrong was out first thing the next day restoring service. We have had many internet companies. Most are meh. Spectrum is beyond awful. But Armstrong provides excellent service with efficient competent help. I highly recommend them.

As I said the phone service is good, but we left because we just could not take it anymore. We were getting charged for things we didn't have, so we switched phone providers and to do that we had to pay our phones off. No big deal right, YOU'D THINK! No months later we were getting charged from T-Mobile. We went into the store and like I said they are really helpful. We got on the phone with customer support and they got their supervisor to talk to us and everyone we talk to recognized the charges are not our fault, they even said IT WASN'T OUR FAULT. When we got (what they call a promotion) years back someone typed in something wrong so we are getting charged for something that is not our fault but instead of saying oh sorry, it's on us because we know it's our fault not yours they want to be greedy and get their money. Oh I years of complaints, but this is the biggest one.
