You don't appreciate Armstrong until you have dealt with other internet companies. Pricing is clear with no games. Yes occasionally they will offer a higher speed for another $10 but my speed is fine. Vacation hold, no problem. Just a $20 restart fee. If you wanted to start or stop it on a specific date, no problem. Come back early? No problem, service returns instantly with a phone call. Contrast this with xfinity/Comcast. I canceled THAT service 2 weeks before my promotion ended. I paid my last bill and received acknowledgement of the cancelation and payment. 5 weeks later and 9 calls later, I am still getting billed a higher charge.. XFINITY internet is still active which I know from my Alexa app and my upstairs neighbor. I'm not there Xfinity says my internet is off but it isn't. With Armstrong EVERYTHING is as promised. Bills are clear with no add ons. You don't have to keep calling customer retention to get a reasonable charge for service. Your bill will not go up by a factor of 4. We got armstrong back in December. We have loved the service and the customer service when calling the 877 number have been kind and helpful. But when they installed my service they didn't bury the wire, they said they'd try to do it before the ground froze but if not it would be done in spring. Which is understandable. Spring came and nothing. So I called in April of 2022 they said a mistake was made on their part that the work order was closed and that they'll fix it and get someone out from the local office (ashland). I was happy with that and waited.... and waited... May rolls around and still have a wire running though my front yard. I call again explaining that this wire is making it incredibly difficult to cut my grass and same thing "we're sorry we will fix it, we'll make it top priority". June comes and still wire in my yard, it gets run over by a lawnmower, line is cut. So I call them again and complain that now since it was never done I am without service. I was told they'd forward it over to the local office and get it whenever they could. I finally got a call from the local office who asks if my service was restored. It was not restored and I was told there were not even any open available appointments. So the lady I spoke with then said they'll have someone out the next day, then they'll schedule to have the wire buried. They come out and fix it, and I have my service restored within a few days. A few days after service is restored someone comes out to bury my line. I was happy because it's finally getting done and don't have to worry about it. That was until the contractor cut my main electric wire to my house and now I have no power.... I called armstrong 877 number and spoke with someone at 430pm they said they'd send the ticket over to the local office because they would need to be the ones to cover it. I got in contact with my electric company and called armstrong back, because I am not having them come out until I know that they are going to pay for the damage that was caused. I was told local office closed at 6pm and that I would have to wait to hear back in the morning. We'll today i call at 11am wait on hold for over 20mins while the person I was speaking to tries to get in contact with the local office and their supervisors. They get back on the line just to tell me they can't get ahold of anyone and the local office isn't responding and that my ticket wasn't sent in until 540pm and that was their systems are only open until 5pm? So here I am waiting for the local office to contact me, while I sit without power. I have 0 clue when I will get it back, I have no clue when or if the local (ashland) office will reach out to me. This has been a colossal waste of time, I have spent hours on the phone with them to get resolution on 2 different problems only to be told I'm stuck waiting on their local office to reach out because they won't give me their phone number directly. I was very patient with the line bury issue and simply called once a month to get it done. I now am out of patience and considering just canceling my service and going back to my previous provider. I'm annoyed and honestly disgusted with "waiting for your local office" comments. They opened 4 hours ago and cannot be contacted, they have not reached out to me to get this problem fixed and have ignored the "highest priority" call/ticket. read more

For the last 6 plus weeks, my internet goes down several times a day, everyday. It occurs at the same time everyday. Surely they should be able to trace this issue and fix it but they can't. I have had 4 techs out on 4 consecutive days. They spend about an hour, replace some parts and say to call if the issue persists. Apparently Armstrong thinks I have hours to waste on them everyday. I am so pissed now that I refuse to call because it is apparent they don't have any qualified techs that can actually run tests, trace the problem and fix it. Each time the system goes down, I have to wait for a long time for it to come back up or reboot the modem. I am paying way too much for such poor service. This is what you get when there are no competitors in the area to switch to. If they had to reimburse me for every time my system went down, they would owe me! read more

We have had them for a couple of years.. Awesome company. Our phone went out yesterday and we called them today at 1:00. We were told that someone would be over Saturday to fix it.. That in itself is great but they actually showed up 3 hours after we called! Very nice guy. Fixed the problem in less than an hour.. Would highly recommended them read more

This company is a JOKE! Customer service is HORRID and they are now charging fees for data. I will be switching back to satellite and DSL very soon! Kind of sucks that Ashland has no other choice for cable but Armstrong. They are so spotty around the area that it doesn't make sense for them to even be in business! read more
