This is a friend of my dads so I thought he would be good to us and my dad. Nope. First i took my suv here for a light that wouldn't go off, he fixed it he said. My husband was wondering how they fixed it, so he took the part off the dash, and as you can see he just put black silicone over the light so that you couldn't see it shine through!!! Also while it was in his shop he left the doors unlocked and people stole a bunch of stuff out of my car! Well during the time he had that car in the shop, my husband had already took his truck there to get multiple things done to it. Well he had his truck for OVER 7 months! He would say oh I promise 2 more weeks, he would tell us all the things he did to it and what was left. Of course we would believe him over and over and over (he talks so nice). Well he was lying. My husband finally went to check and the things he said were done were not. This happened so many times that we finally had to just tow the truck to another shop! That place had it done so fast. Well my dad had 2 work trucks that needed 2 engines, he said he was taking it to DnD (his friend) I asked him not to take it there, but he insisted that he would not do that to him... well guess what? He did him even worse. One truck has been there about 1 year and 5 months, the other around 8 months. I took pictures of him having them outside after I had seen the trucks inside for awhile. He said he had the engine in the gray one ( the one there for 8 months) guess what? No engine in it. Just sitting outside. So he finally said he's working on it now because he didn't want a bad review. He said it would be done in 2 weeks and the other truck that he's done nothing on for well over a year would be done 2 weeks after that. He has given every excuse about it. Saying he took the engine out 3 times, flywheel didn't fit, anything you can think of. It's been I've giving him 2 months instead of 2 weeks like he's asked, and STILL getting the excuses over and over. He says them so nicely that I want to believe it, but I don't want this to happen to anyone else. These are 2 work truck down for this long. It's ridiculous. My dad still wants him to do the work, because they are "friends" and doesn't want problems. Im trying to get him to take the trucks somewhere else. Im leaving a ton of details and lies he's told us out too, because this would be way too long. I have pictures

He even made a trip to the local salvage yard in an effort to help us out. When that failed he drove us to a local hotel, and then picked us up there on Monday when our car was ready. Service above and beyond, small town Texas at it's best!

The wheels were also not cleaned good. I won't go back. I'll pay the extra $$$ to have it done right. I know most people love this place but I've had bad luck with them. To be fair, if I were to give them a grade it would be between C+ to B-.

When I went to my truck in the morning I noticed a big oil puddle underneath my truck. And therefore I checked underneath my truck and found the problem, which wasn't hard to find. The oil filter underneath the truck wasn't even tightened. I could easily turn it with my hand. This is UNACCEPTABLE! I travel a lot for work and my motor could have blown if I didn't notice the oil spill underneath my truck. An oil change business that can't do a proper oil change, that's pathetic. Waste of $200. Me and my daughter went a few hours later thinking it just ran hot. I checked the oil it was bone dry. I instantly stopped by Valvoline to talk to the manger explained everything he seemed very generous and concerned in the beginning. He told me he would go to my son car with tools and oil. which was weird when I told him the motor was blown. so with him calling me the next day on a recorded line with valvoline customer service stating he could'not get under the car because it was pushed into the grass you darn right it was. I didn't want it to get hit. but then he turned around and said but the drain plug was tight. hmmm I'm sure it was after you tighten it when you got there. I trusted him to be truthful we are all humans and make mistakes. But they are refusing to take care of my son motor being blown and is blaming it on his car being a 2013 with a loose oil cap. and remind you I had just left my son car and checked the oil I just didn't tighten the cap back up. I've dealt with them for years. I'm very disappointed and furious never again will I spend my money there. We are stuck with a $2.919.04 bill to get it fixed while my son is stuck still having to pay a car note and also pay to catch a ride to work.
