I initially found this business while looking for a new stereo for my old truck. I went to their location and was very impressed. I decided to purchase a stereo for my truck and have it professionally installed. I picked up by truck several hours later and was absolutely impressed, to the point that I purchased another one for a family member the next day. When looking for window tint options for my Tesla, I settled on them as the installer due to their experience and professionalism. I had several concerns about the access to the vehicle and the type of tinting they would do with all the glass. After briefly speaking with one of them, all concerns were addressed and I ultimately elected to go with the ceramic tint option. Overall I've had no complaints about Big Daddy's and would absolutely recommend them for anyone that's looking to modify their vehicle. Big Daddy's has been my go to spot for my Ford Fusion since 2013. I've had the pleasure of getting to know their team and even when I feel like something went wrong, they will go out of their way to make sure I'm taken care of. I've always appreciated how well they treat me and value me as a customer. Back in 2013, they installed window tint on my car and it's worked great since. No issues three years later. The only minor issue was it didn't adhere to the dot-matrix in on the back windshield that well. They put a black vinyl strip across the top at-cost for me (no labor fees), which was greatly appreciated since we didn't foresee it looking that bad when we put it on. Later that year I got subs and an amp installed into my factory Ford Sync system. At first the guy sold me a Digital Designs (DD Audio) subwoofer, after I had already expressed I wanted JL Audio. He went ahead and installed it in my car and told me I would love it. Well...... I didn't. It was muddy, hitting very little lows, and overall was something I didn't want. I brought it back a week later and got two JL Audio subs in an enclosed box for just a little more and no extra labor costs to me. They really worked with me and made sure whatever I had in my trunk was something I liked. I've since replaced my factory speakers with Focal, more great service from them. Wait time on that was a little long, but it seemed like a busy day. Clay and I originally talked about getting JL in the doors, but later on urged me Focal would fit my needs and the type of music I listen to a bit more. I've been happy with their recommendation. I've had to replace one subwoofer due to me blowing it. Great service again, and they had it installed in about an hour. Anytime I feel like my subs aren't hitting, I've brought it up there and we've adjusted them to my liking. They will take the time to explain whatever I may ask them so in the future I can do it myself. I've even went up there for browsing around and pricing what to do next. Never felt pressured to buy today or schedule to get my car in today but from one guy, who I usually just avoid when I go in there now. All the other guys know they don't have to sell to me or try to schedule me today for fear of losing my business if I walk out. I will always be back. I replaced my interior lighting and license plate lighting with Oracle which they sell there - no issues, and it's a bright albeit blue-ish white light. Big Daddy's has been around forever in Longview, and is the only car audio stop. Your vehicle will be in great hands here, and Rusty and Robbie will take great care of you. Their new location on Bill Owens is beautiful. They have markdowns every so often, and you can find useful stuff if you're okay with open box. Go in and look around one Saturday and bring your phone to plug into one of the many working radios they have on display. You'll be blown away... literally... by pounding bass. read more

Was not impressed at all. I went there to get system put in my vehicle. They where real nice. But when I dropped off my vehicle. I went and picked it up when it was done. And I found a big surprise when I opened the door. They had removed parts that I was never told they where going to be removed. It was really upsetting. I just wish they would have explained it better. It was really bad experience. The guy that was there that Saturday was kinda rude. He said I will let the manager know l. I was refered by coworkers this is the best place in town to go to. So I called them up to get a faceplate ordered and to have my stereo installed. Well I called Tuesday to set up a appointment to have it installed that saturday, and they said that they would have to order the faceplate. I said ok do it and I prepaid for it and the install. Well come Saturday morning I got a call that the faceplate was on back ordered and try tried to order it thursday, I was how soon it will be in and it was a 2 day order. Well I said I will bring it in on Tuesday and did. Well customer service was lacking, I was not greeted when I came into the store, the kids that looked to be in high school was not vocal, when approached they did not even try to talk. It was hard to ask questions they acted like zombies, either on their cell phones or on the computer. I like them besides the lack of customer support. read more

Took our boat in for upgrade on stereo system about a year ago. As soon as we got it back it was never right. Speakers cut in/out, amps didn't work, and they cut the wires to a our dash so none of our controls worked. Took the boat back in, had them "fix" things. We paid for brand new amps - boat stereo didn't work again! just took the amps out - opened them up - and guess what? Not only were they NOT NEW, they were full of mud.
