If I could give zero stars I would. Everytime I go in here I leave disappointed. I went in for an alignment (I bought a lifetime alignment, because it was a good deal and I figured I could take it to the Longview store) So anyway, I take my car in to the Marshall store thinking that's it's been a few years since I've been in, surely they would have ironed out the kinks. Well l, that was wishful thinking... The guy (Joel) tells me I need new tires. I found cheaper tires at another local tire place and I bring it back for the alignment. The car drifts right when I have the steering wheel centered. I'm going to take my car to the Longview store to see if they can fix it. read more

My son took a flat tire to them with a nail for repair. I had him measure how far from the edge the nail was, and it was well over 1" from the edge, within the groove. This, according to Firestone's own standards is safe to repair. They, as I warned my son, said that it was too close to the edge and he needed to buy a new tire. He said no thank you and took it down the street where it was promptly repaired for $10. Honesty is the best policy Firestone. But thanks for helping teach my son a valuable lesson about trusting car repair facilities. I hoped Firestone would be different. But he did find a different place in Marshall that was honest. read more

We were traveling through and had car problems, these guys really helped us out. Totally honest

This Firestone is closest to me and I like going with name brands because I travel a lot with my car and need a provider nation wide in case. Bottom line , this branch is EXTREMELY inefficient and untrained. I will not go into the time they couldn't change spark plugs but only elaborate on the latest. I had bought a brand new set of tires 3 months prior. A week ago I started getting a leak from one. I was on the road and thought I picked up a nail, so I brought to a tire shop that pulled it, soaked it , soaped it but could not find the leak. I aired up and went on my way. Next morning. Flat tire. Aired it up drove the 5 hour drive home knowing I'd get to the firestone in time for them to diagnose or replace. WRONG. The guy said matter-of-factly , sorry , our machine is down and we can't change the tire. I said , you don't have a jack?? I do. Oh we have a jack , but no way to get the tire off the rim. SERIOUSLY?!? I'm old school enough that I've taken a tire off a rim manually, but this is supposed to be a TIRE SHOP. I rolled my eyes and left. I first thought , well I'll go down to the local owned tire guy , have Firestone put my spare on , take the other tire to get unmounted for them , bring it back to them , blah blah ,... no. Even with a scheduled appointment, it took 10 hours for them to a brake job on my truck. They didn't touch it for the first 8 hours of the day. When I got my truck back I had no brakes . Had to go back the next day for them to re-do it. read more

Firestone Tire in Marshall, TX gets 5 Stars in customer service. My daughter who attends ETBU, stopped by to have her oil changed before starting her 4 hour road trip home. They not only changed her oil but inspected the over all safety of the vehicle. They found the ball joints on one side of the truck were bad. Just one bump and the tire could have come off, which could have been tragic. They also found the sway-bar on one side had come off. They made sure she understood what they were doing, even took her out there and showed her. They also called to see if I had any questions. As a parent, I can not thank them enough for all they did to ensure my daughters truck was safe and ready to make the trip home. Great Business, Amazing Customer Service, Very Professional Staff. I would high Recommend Firestone in Marshall, TX. They are no words to express my gratitude for going that extra mile. read more

Told by guy on the phone I could get 4 new tires and oil change a little over an hour of work. Dropped truck off around 11:45 and left for an hour, then came back to sit in the waiting area for another two hours, all while my truck was already lifted in the garage. Awesome experience. Matt the manager did a great job with us. Very accommodating and helpful, when Big 5 Tires was useless.

Had a number of problems with this place but not much to choose from in this area. Went to get new tires and 6hrs later they were finally done. Nothing special just new tires, their excuse was they were very busy that day but they managed to help everybody else that came in after me. Manager is nice guy that's why 2 stats otherwise never going back to Firestone. read more
