This is a friend of my dads so I thought he would be good to us and my dad. Nope. First i took my suv here for a light that wouldn't go off, he fixed it he said. My husband was wondering how they fixed it, so he took the part off the dash, and as you can see he just put black silicone over the light so that you couldn't see it shine through!!! Also while it was in his shop he left the doors unlocked and people stole a bunch of stuff out of my car! Well during the time he had that car in the shop, my husband had already took his truck there to get multiple things done to it. Well he had his truck for OVER 7 months! He would say oh I promise 2 more weeks, he would tell us all the things he did to it and what was left. Of course we would believe him over and over and over (he talks so nice). Well he was lying. My husband finally went to check and the things he said were done were not. This happened so many times that we finally had to just tow the truck to another shop! That place had it done so fast. Well my dad had 2 work trucks that needed 2 engines, he said he was taking it to DnD (his friend) I asked him not to take it there, but he insisted that he would not do that to him... well guess what? He did him even worse. One truck has been there about 1 year and 5 months, the other around 8 months. I took pictures of him having them outside after I had seen the trucks inside for awhile. He said he had the engine in the gray one ( the one there for 8 months) guess what? No engine in it. Just sitting outside. So he finally said he's working on it now because he didn't want a bad review. He said it would be done in 2 weeks and the other truck that he's done nothing on for well over a year would be done 2 weeks after that. He has given every excuse about it. Saying he took the engine out 3 times, flywheel didn't fit, anything you can think of. It's been I've giving him 2 months instead of 2 weeks like he's asked, and STILL getting the excuses over and over. He says them so nicely that I want to believe it, but I don't want this to happen to anyone else. These are 2 work truck down for this long. It's ridiculous. My dad still wants him to do the work, because they are "friends" and doesn't want problems. Im trying to get him to take the trucks somewhere else. Im leaving a ton of details and lies he's told us out too, because this would be way too long. I have pictures

He even made a trip to the local salvage yard in an effort to help us out. When that failed he drove us to a local hotel, and then picked us up there on Monday when our car was ready. Today I thought I had received an after Thanksgiving blessing or maybe an early Christmas present,…read morebut now I realize I received BOTH! I needed a windshield gasket reinstalled after my vehicle painter had not properly reinstalled it and it was flopping around in the wind. Ace Auto Glass agreed to look at what could be done. They found the gasket was of the type that should be applied to the windshield glass BEFORE installation. The expert technician showed me that he could trim a lip off of the gasket and then glue it into the groove. His creative suggestion worked like he said. But here is when the blessings occurred - the great work was done at no charge! The kind folks at Ace Glass happily sent me out with a grateful smile on my face. The print-out said I needed a new oil pressure sending unit and also recommended replacing the intake manifold gasket. It was not a cheap fix. Being new to the area, I had no idea where to go. I researched it and discovered that Texas Auto Care had the best reviews by far. I called and spoke with James, the owner and mechanic. He gave me a quote of nearly $500. I dropped my car off and when he called to say the car was ready, he advised me there would be no charge as he felt there had been a glitch in the system when my oil was changed the day before. I would highly recommend Texas Auto Care. It would have been so easy for them to have done the job and I never would have known! I can't tell you how thankful I am that I found James and Jessica. Their honesty is overwhelming and so appreciated!

I cleaned it myself. No big deal. The 2nd time they didn't wash it good. They Left dirt all over the truck. It was horrible. The inside was done pretty good except the windsheild. The wheels were also not cleaned good. I won't go back. I'll pay the extra $$$ to have it done right. I know most people love this place but I've had bad luck with them. To be fair, if I were to give them a grade it would be between C+ to B-.
