We went here during the dinner happy hour and really enjoyed it. My wife got the country fried steak and eggs and I had the farm burger. I love Timbers! The service is always great and the food is delicious. I recommend the Monterey chicken sandwich. Chicken is juicy and the avocado in the sandwich takes it over the top. I heard they had great burgers so I had to stop in and form my own opinion. As well as share it on Yelp. What makes a great budget is the total of all components combined perfected and fulfill ones hunger need while satisfying taste buds. I ordered the classic cheeseburger medium with fries. Upon delivery the burger came out to a perfect medium as requested. The patty was a thick 1/2 pounder hand formed with some tools I'm sure. Very juicy but lacked seasoning. No problem I can just add my own. Topped wirh lettuce tomato and onion, my Burger was delivered quickly and with a large portion of fries, a pound at least. I could see that my hunger pains would subside after this meal because I never let anything go to waste. My one issue with this burger was the bun. It was so squishy and soft it could not hold up to this big old burger. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it. This is just area I would improve on. The pickle and Italian peppers on the side were a nice addition and both were crispy and fresh. Service from Rich was attentive and courteous. So much so that I will most likely be back to explore more of the menu. I really enjoyed the reasonably priced Sierra Nevada beers and looking at the marketing materials posted throughout the location the prices get better between 4-7 for happy hour. read more

This place is a joke. Dont expect service at the bar, especially if there are two females working. They either stand by each other talking near the kitchen door or are so engaged with a single customer in conversation they ignore everyone else, if you interrupt them they give you a dirty look. The one who is the worse is the one who while we were there constantly reminds people she used to be a manager. When she is not talking she is texting. The other day we timed her, 10 minutes talking by the kitchen, 15 talking to one customer, then 15 minutes leaning against the counter with her back to customers. The kicker, she then kept complaining management was sending her home early because they were slow and she disagreed. Well, if you can spend all that time not working while the other bar tender handles the entire bar I guess you have no argument, is it any wonder she is no longer a manager? And dont get me started on how she will intentionally ignore some customers even though they try to get her attention when she is right in front of them or how she will tell customers she wrote their drawing tickets and put them in the drum when she never picked up a pen or went near the drum. Fire them all and get a new crew before you end up on bar rescue. We moved in around the corner and have been there a few times during hockey games, we will go some place where bar tenders report to work, not be social butterflies and employees are told to leave their phones off, they are not paid to be on them. read more

I usually come here once or twice a month and honestly, I think this place is MUCH better than what people make it out to be. I usually go on Thursday or Sunday graveyard due to my work schedule. That and it's just a preference, really. Their happy hours are 4-7pm and 12-4am. Drinks are fairly priced, ranging between $3.50 (happy hour price) - $10.00 per drink. Other than that, the served here is of your bar type variety (oh and 24 hour breakfast too) and the quality is pretty good. I recommend getting their Timbers Smothered Fries, but with kettle chips instead - trust me, you won't regret it. Similar to Animal Fries from In n Out Burger, but much more heftier with portions and a bit more flavorful.The service is great! The staff is super friendly. On my visits, Jeffrey is usually the bartender on shift and let me tell you, he's freaking awesome! Very attentive and honestly, just a genuinely great human being all around. **Also, it's good to know that the staff can help fetch a Lyft or Uber should you get a little bit too inebriated. read more

The bar food was good so we tolerated getting to-go items. Even then it sometimes was spotty service and it was always from the same server. Black hair, really bubbly and friendly which makes her scattered with no priorities except to chat and have fun. She's the reason why we always check sauces as it normally isn't always there. I've gotten salad without a dressing or fries without ranch sauce. If we deal with someone else, there's usually not as much issue. After last night, screw this place. Called in the order and it usually takes 10-15 minutes. The BF gets there soon after to pick it up and lets that server know he's here for a pick up. She goes to the back and says it's a few minutes. He tries to get her several times. It took forever to get the food and when the BF pays and she brings him the food, he asks for sauces that wasn't given. The girl goes off then to drop off a drink, but then goes to chat with some people, and off elsewhere, gets people their checks, etc. before going to just grab the BF some ranch, malt vinegar and tartar sauce. At this point the BF has already been waiting 30minutes plus on a order that was called in 50 minutes ago so he was quite miffed that this lady has no concept of priorities. When a customer is needing to leave, then don't hold them hostage! He sat for a few minutes too many for some sauce. 58 minutes for food. When we open the food- it was cold and soggy. I didn't get tartar sauce for my fish and chips. I live two blocks from this place so it didn't get cold on a travel home. It's the reason why we pick up here- the proximity should get us hot food. The food was done probably the timeframe they said, but that lady didn't go get the food and wandered around chatting up people. One server can ruin repeat business. read more

The basket will easily subdue two very hungry appetites for starters. The food is good bar grub. Nothing fancy! Expect real bar food without the frills & obnoxious presentation. I had the grilled fish tilapia tacos. Fresh tasting filet and Pico de Gallo. I go light on the white Baja sauce so not to overpower the other flavors. No rants regarding service here. I have been going to this Timbers for about 10 years now. I even had my first date with my husband here, and we consider this to be one of our "special" places. Thursday (4/14) my husband was playing there and hit quads 3 different times, and a straight flush one time as well. Because of those hands, the bartender gave him tickets to a drawing they would have Saturday (4/16) night. While he was playing, he had a few drinks that were all comped. Fast forward to Friday night (4/15), when my husband and I decided to stop in about 9pm to play and have a drink. While we were playing, we both had 1 drink and 1 shot each. We were both playing video poker and while he was having more luck than I was, we both hit quads again. The bartender there gave us tickets to fill out once more. Shortly before we were about to leave my husband changed games and didn't hit max bet so he ended up betting a quarter and hit quads. He asked Jason who was also one of the bartenders for a ticket. Jason got really hostile and told him that he needed to be being max to get those tickets and my husband told him that the other bartenders were giving them to him, no matter what he was playing the day before and before he started helping us. That kind of sealed it for us so we cashed out to leave. As we were about to go, Leanna the bartender there with Jason, said we had a balance. Puzzled I asked what for and she said she couldn't comp us all of the drinks, only 1 cause we didn't play enough. I lost 65 bucks and my husband lost 18. I'm not sure how that's not worthy of 2 drinks and 2 shots. Jason came over and got loud with is saying that they are going to comp people who are playing nickels or playing quarters but not doing max bet. I was shocked. His attitude and tone where 100% uncalled for. As much as I go in and play (anywhere from nickels to dollars), I don't think I deserved to have this guy talk to me like I was some cheapskate and be disrespectful. I left the $23.00 for the 2 shots and 1 drink but I told them I wouldn't be back and I'd be making a complaint and his response was you do that - and have fun with that. All you 49er Fans, this is the bar to go and watch the games. They have a enough TVs so everyone gets a chance to see the action. However, it does get really crowded with so if you want a good seat you have to arrive an hour before the game. The beer is only $3.50. Also when the Niners score you get a free jello shot. The service here is okay but they get a bit confused because they don't even keep track of who ordered what. read more

I decided on the buffalo chicken wrap, and I can't imagine giving a buffalo chicken wrap at a bar a 5 star review, but here I am doing just that. Staff: Very friendly! Julia was very attentive and didn't miss a beat. Environment: when we first walked in, there were a few people smoking at the bar and being a non-smoker I was like "crap!" But the ventilation system in this place rocks, we were not bothered by it at all. The music was not too loud (perfect for having a conversation). Food: My wife had the fish and chips, the batter and fries we very tasty and the fish was well cooked. Not amazing, but good. My buffalo chicken wrap was good. On 6-06-17 at about 5 PM, I walked into Timbers. At first, all was well. The bartender was friendly and he greeted me as I walked in the doorway. I opened the menu and patiently waited for someone to come take my order. The bartender was busy serving patrons at the bar. Meanwhile, I noticed the waitress standing in front of a television watching a girls softball game. When I first entered the bar it was 5 o'clock on the dot. I glanced down at my watch and noticed it was 5:20 PM. The waitress still did not come around. Then, I moved to the other side of the bar where the high tables are located near the TV that the waitress was watching. At this point, the waitress disappeared to the back. Then I saw her reappear using one of the telephones near the kitchen. The time is now 5:40 PM. I had enough and could not take getting ignored any longer, so I left and went to PT's Pub where I got great service. Normally I get decent service at Timbers; however, this incident changed my view about the establishment.l read more

Just moved to Vegas and this was the first place we stopped to eat after a long trip. I really enjoyed the fried zucchini sticks, they were amazing, and dinner was pretty good bar food, chicken tenders and a chicken fried steak breakfast. The drink was enormous, they had the football game on tv, great chairs for lounging. The waitress, however, clearly didn't want to be there. It got to the point we were up looking around the bar for napkins while she stayed at the wait station texting away. As agreed with Timbers management I/we would give this restaurant another chance & repost a review. Well I have to say that we had a 180 degree experience from the last time. We came in & sat down. We waited a few minutes and then Amanda came over to greet us, take a drink order & offer us menus. When the meals came out which included some Mac n cheese, everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. I came up with a new term to define this cuisine. I feel this term accurately captures both the style of food this establishment purveys as well as the level of commitment it demonstrates to quality and service. That term is "crud-ordinary" Websters dictionary defines normal as "having no no special or distinctive features; normal". The term crud is defined as "nonsense" or "a substance that is disgusting or unpleasant". The latter sense of the word, however, is more pertinent for this review. I can confidently assert that Timbers will NOT disappoint if what you seek is a meal that is an interesting mix of something entirely recognizable and familiar, yet which could very well be your worst imaginable version of that cuisine. Take the meat sandwich I ordered this evening. It was absolutely a meat sandwich. There was bread and there was meat. It therefore unequivocally delivered on its promise of being a sandwich. However, its flavor was that of watery gravy drenched in cardboard. The dipping sauce looked brown and zesty and yet despite that promise, still tasted like your grandma's grimy dishwater - or at least, if I can be so bold, how I imagine her grimy dishwater might taste. This exotic fusion of the comfortably recognizable and the deeply, viscerally disappointing is the very hallmark of the cuisine I dub "crud-ordinary". Let us turn now to the quality of service lavished upon us and accompanying this desultory, disappointing excuse for a meal. The service, also, was deeply crud-ordinary. It was familiar, insofar as the food did arrive. However, it also demonstrated exemplary levels of suckage given that it was an hour later than the anticipated delivery time. That is sixty whole minutes of added anticipation and expectation. Sixty whole minutes of extra annoyance and disappointment as we cracked open the styrofoam to reveal our exquisitely crud-ordinary dishes. Don't order your food from here. Just don't. You are a more worthy and deserving human being than should eat here. I don't care if you walk poor old grannies across the road and leave them stranded on the median strip. You're STILL worthy of better cuisine than this. It's horrible. We ate toast and yogurt instead of finishing these meals. Toast and freaking yogurt! This is how deeply, impossibly and absolutely crud-ordinary this place is. Do yourself a favor and do what I should have done. Move on. Eat something else. Just ... don't. read more
