Bigby coffee is a well known chain where this business is in line with other stores I have seen…read more Its a step up from the fast food and gas station options in the area but falls a tad short of the small privately owned coffee centric businesses in the area in my opinion in both quality and flavor of the beans. The issue with the small boutique coffee centric businesses in this area is they are not open every day with much shorter hours than Bigby which is a huge plus for Bigby's. Something I greatly appreciate and a nice convenience for the greater Oscoda area. You can always count on these guys to be open to get your hot cup of Joe daily. Nice! As far as what they offer, they have all the coffee drinks you would expect from a Barista operation with some food options to boot. They also open quite early (I believe around 5am) where the breakfast food offerings makes them a standout for this area for the early risers. Relative to staff and facility, the staff was quite friendly and had quick service where the inside dining area is quite clean with plenty of dining tables, two computer work station areas and some cushioned furniture seating area for a more comfortable experience. Overall, quite nice and a big plus for this business. If you are looking for good coffee in the area with reliable hours where depending on the day and time you can either go here or go to McDonalds/Burger King. Tough choice right (:

It seems like everyone in town is turning out for coffee and breakfast food this morning. The drive-through window is busy and there are lots of people inside, placing orders and sitting at tables enjoying their coffee. The atmosphere here is casual and extremely comfortable. BIGGBY coffee is consistent and the team here is doing a great job. I was here for an hour and not one single customer complained about not getting something they ordered or something not being made right. My hot Mocha! Mocha! was perfect. And I'm now in love with their Turkey/Havarti on plain bagel. Served hot so the cheese is melted. A total YUM! This grand opening is starting out strong! It's now 8:40 AM and as customers are leaving, new customers are coming in. Wishing this new business the best of luck!

We are mocha snobs and this mocha was just perfect: rich dark chocolate, whole milk and espresso. Yummm! We also tried the dark chocolate croissants and a breakfast burrito. They were both delicious. Be cautioned that the burritos are very small and you will definitely want your own. Though we do not have any dietary needs, we were impressed with the vegan and gluten free options available to customers. Plant-based milks, an array of fresh-baked gluten free items and a cold case with chia breakfast oats, vegan berry pudding and other healthy cold salads and sandwiches. We tried the Lazy Toaster and would happily recommend this cafe, hands down. The staff knew their local customers and were very friendly and accommodating. Happy people create a genuinely happy vibe. You can feel the good vibes here. The ambience is warm and beckons you to stay a while; however, seating is limited. I enjoyed perusing the locally sourced items such as honey and maple syrup along with other health-oriented products such as essential oils. Excellent addition to Tawas. I came here for breakfast from Oscoda based on the good YELP reviews and their early open times of 7am as by nature I am an early riser and very few restaurants in the area open at that time. For my first meal here I had their Little Manny breakfast which was their two egg, choice of meat, potatoes and toast entree. The eggs were well cooked, bacon was thick cut and tasty which is big deal for me and potatoes are of a cubed home cooked variety with sautéed pepper/onion medley mixed in with the potatoes. Nice! Price at $10.99 was very fare and normally there would be an upcharge to have your potatoes served Obrien style which they did not do here. Lastly the Coffee which too often is overlooked by some is quite good and full bodied just the way I like it. The restaurant is very clean and bright with super friendly service and great follow up through out the meal. They were quick with the coffee refill's where I never saw the bottom of my cup during the meal. This is a sure sign of great service and Cleary a strength of this business. Overall, a great spot to check out where I will definately be returning in the near future to sample their smash burgers, where I am a fan of that style of burger. They look so darn good in the YELP pictures not to come back and give them a try!
