I am very impressed with all aspects of Timberman tree service and would hands down recommend them for any tricky tree job. Their pricing was very good and was $1000 less than another service i had quote the same job. From my initial call, the quote and their responses to my concerns and questions to the job it could not have gone better. Having a pool, shed and fencing i was very concerned about damage to my property from an extremely tall tulip poplar and a neighbors overhanging gigantic oak tree. I also had a couple of tall trees very close to the house that they brought down with care. Carlos and crew brought huge branches down with great skill and in a controlled manner. After the limbs were cut off, they cut the main trunk section one at a time lowering the pieces to the ground with their ropes. I used their grinding service to grind the stumps from 2 smaller oaks in my yard that they cut down. It was an amazing process to watch their climber. At the end of the work they picked up any remaining debris and cleaned up the areas including blowing off the top of my shed. Thank you Esther, Susan, Carlos and crew!! Read and look at the pics. **I had never met (prior to quote) the owner or any employees, this is a 100% unbiased review based on my experience.**. I was extremely hesitant to hire them due to lack of reviews. I'm so glad I went with my gut feeling and hired them! They charged almost HALF of the lowest quote we had from 4 others and less than 1/3 of the highest quote. Our tree was super tricky, one trunk that split into 3 with one leaning on our fence, another leaning over our neighbors house and another in between. There was no space to fall the tree, it had to be taken down but by bit. Look at the pics. We were worried about companies with tons of reviews due to the circumstances. Carlos and his guys took that tree down without incident in record time. I am still in awe of their skills! Because of lack of reviews, I was adamant about getting proof of insurance. They sent over proof the same day I asked for it but there was almost a week between that time and the day of service. The day of service I left a voicemail with their insurance company to verify and the insurance company sent over proof within an hour. read more

We had two enormous (60 ft?) foot trees that were too close to the house and needed to be removed. We also had limbs that were hanging over our deck in the back yard that needed to be trimmed back considerably. Carlos and his crew were at our house before 7:30 am and were gone a little after noon. They cleaned up every twig and every leaf that fell during the removal and left my driveway, back deck and front stairs, cleaner than when they first arrived. Carlos suggested trimming back some limbs that were overhanging our driveway also, and we had do that job too, and we are so happy he mentioned it because our house looks almost brand new again. The price was absolutely affordable and reasonable for the amount of work included. Both Esther and Carlos were adamant that they wouldn't accept payment until we were completely satisfied with the project. They can make this claim so readily because their work is so stellar. Lastly, they made sure to send copies of their insurance and licenses with the first quote to ease any worries we might have had. We will never use another service. The service I got from this crew was nothing short of outstanding. I hired them to remove a single 50-60 ft oak, over 1 ft dbh, from a tight space in my front yard, about 5 ft from a hedge of my wife's prize rhododendrons on one side and the same distance on the other to the sidewalk and devil strip with two big maples. They gave me the best quote, Carlos was friendly and ready to answer questions. They had to change my appointment once but moved it a day earlier. When their 5-man crew showed up a bit before 3:00, I was worried they wouldn't have enough daylight, but they did the entire job including stump grinding, left all our shrubs, trees and structures untouched, wrapped up and pulled away in just under 2 hours! They were focused and efficient- the climber/cutter was highly skilled, he and the watcher and guide rope guy were mic'd up and communicated seamlessly, every limb cut was calculated and highly controlled yet quick, while the other two hauled the cuts and fed them to the chipper, then operated the little front end loader to get the trunk parts and the grinder. They were impressive and conscientious. read more

On August 14th, 2025 the crew worked around 11 hours to cut down, (2) 80-90 foot tall Water Oaks with trunk diameters at approximately 40''. That included debris clean up and stump grinding. They worked through rain, +90 degree temperatures and high humidity. I am satisfied with their excellent work ethic, skill level and getting the expected results as they promised...at a cost that was fair and affordable. It's difficult to find a combination of service and cost that is reasonable. I walked through 3 estimates with other tree services, Timberman Tree Service smoked all of them at cost! They did hard work, and did it well...without padding the profit pocket in excess! They had tight quarters to work with, as the house and shed were within 20 feet of both trees and it was impressive, how skilled and careful they were. Zero damage, and just good old fashioned hard work and careful thought made it through all the hardships. That is not a common thing to witness now-a-days. Fantastic job! Just fantastic! Awesome crew. Timberman did a great job, no damage to anything, very reasonably priced, and they cleaned up the property before they left including removing the trees. They took down 3 trees, ground the three stumps, and trimmed the canopy on an oak that was hanging over the house. They were great at keeping the oak limbs from falling on the new roof. We will definitely use them again in the future and have recommended them to our neighbors. We also liked that they showed us their insurance coverage during the quote discussions. read more
