A very caring office with attentive staff who are really on top of their patients and their healthcare. I would highly recommend.

Two of the best things about this place are (1) Susanna at the front desk, and (2) Dina the physical therapist. Susanna has worked there a long time and is knowledgeable, professional, organized, funny and very friendly. She remembers your name and chats with all the patients as if they were old friends. Dina is super smart and intuitive. Rather than prescribe a standardized PT routine, she trouble shoots to figure out what's really wrong. I went in for what I thought was lower back pain. Turned out my sacroiliac joint was out of place. With a couple of gentle adjustments, I was good as new IN ONE VISIT! She gave me some strengthening exercises to prevent further injury. read more

I am a very active person and Timberline. Physical Therapy has changed my life. For example, I knew I needed a hip replacement, but I had a hiking trip to Glacier National Park planned, and they helped me with exercises that strengthen all my other muscles so I could still take the trip before I got my new hip. Needless to say, I have kept going to them for other joint and muscle issues. Dina in particular is awesome but I think everyone there is great. read more

I went to this business for 4 visits. I believe I only saw a physical therapist the first visit . First failure was to send me home on each of 4 visits with NO written instructions for home exercises. Has never happened to me before during 40+ years of occasional pt. Second major failure was to have someone who appeared to have no knowledge of my injury or needs who had me lay on my side on and do scissor lifts of my injured leg. Halfway through the first l lift I nearly vomited from the pain. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. read more

I have been to 9 Physical Therapy clinics. They have ranged from poor to outstanding. The variables I have experienced have been: 1. Being treated by a PT versus an assistant . 2. Ease of making appointments. 3. Types of machines and equipment 4. Cleanliness 5. Friendly staff. Timberline is outstanding in every way. In fact, exceeded my expectations in many ways. The physical therapists at Timberline were all very friendly, very knowledgeable and did hands on work including MASSAGE ! While you usually have a primary PT, which I like, I eventually worked with all of the PTs at least once. Each one treated me like MY recovery was the most important thing. Never just going through the motions. My Surgeon was thrilled and amazed at the speed of my recovery after a knee replacement. I did not realize how many people have great difficulties and long term problems after the surgery. The professionals at Timberline were on top of every aspect of my healing and recovery. I've been sitting on this review for over a year. I wasn't sure I wanted to post, but I recently had a second MRI so I felt compelled to post. I went to Timerline Physical Therapy on June 8th 2018 for an unexplained right exterior knee pain and right exterior calf pain. The pain started in late April 2018. I woke up one morning with pain in my knee and calf for no clear reason. I didn't fall or hurt myself at the gym. I found Timberline and asked my doctor for a referral. I was given 60 minute evaluation by a team member and was informed that I had the following issues: IT band strain Weak hip The Timberhline physical therapist defined some exercises and treatment. I was also informed I should continue to exercise and lift weights like normal. My current personal exercises were running on treadmill, elliptical, Stairmaster, stationary rowing and stationary bike. I would later learn this was extremely poor recommendation and an inaccurate assessment. I should have immediately stopped working out and rested by body. I continued getting treatment at Timberline for 3-4 weeks, but I didn't see any improvements. In fact, my pain become much worse and I couldn't sit for more than 20 minutes. I decided to get a second opinion from my physical therapist at the Intel office. Within the first 5 minutes of getting an evaluation, I was told I had a herniated spine at the L4 and L5 disk. This was causing all my pain in my ride leg and butt. The herniation was so bad, physical therapy was unlikely to make much difference. All the work done by Timberline made everything much worse. I had to get surgery right away or I would end up in a wheel chair. Luckily I had the surgery on August 3rd 2018 at Peacehealth on Mill Plain. Do I blame Timerline for my injury? Not entirely, I take responsibility for injuring myself by lifting a dresser. Timerline should be blamed for their unqualified staff. Timerline misdiagnosed me, which then gave me hurtful exercise and terrible recommendations. The correct recommendation for a L4 and L5 herniation should be traction and lots of body rest. If Timberline would have done this at the first visit, I probably would have avoided surgery and save thousands of dollars. I could have also avoid the weeks of excruciating pain. There were days the pain was so intense, I wanted to die. If you are planning to go to Timerline, I would only go if you know your exact physical issue such as broken arm, ankle sprain, twisted wrist, etc. Anything severe like your spine or mystery join pains, they are not qualified at all. Buyer be ware! I will say the equipment at Timberline is modern, the facility is clean and the staff is very polite. read more

Timberline PT has great customer service, is very accommodating and easy to work with. They did not keep me longer than necessary and even my doctor commented how quickly I bounced back from my injury. The staff is friendly, funny, knowledgeable and despite the fact that the work was hard, I always looked forward to going to PT. read more

I have been a patient undergoing massage therapy after an automobile accident 3 months ago. The front desk staff is nothing short of amazing. Kristi always greets me by name right when I walk through the door, and always manages to schedule my massages with flexible appointments that fit my schedule. Douglas Black, LMP has been working on me since day 1 and wouldn't have it any other way! I was apprehensive to beginning massage therapy after a less than relaxing experience several years ago. Doug was patient, and tailored my treatments to my tolerance level, always checking in to see if the pressure was ok, head rest was comfortable, etc. If you are looking for a professional, therapeutic massage Doug is the way to go. I absolutely love the staff here. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I was very nervous going in but they showed me nothing but care and honesty. Susanna and Cassie were nothing but rays of sunshine at the front desk. I enjoy seeing them everytime. They were flexible with scheduling and will never forget to remind you of your next appointments. Melissa, Jennifer, Ismael, and Jacob are all Rockstars! They will take care of you! Every question or concern I had was answered.Your progress, health, and safety are their number one concern. I definitely would recommend. They go above and beyond with the sanitation too! The staff at Timberline are the best! From the moment I walked in, I felt very comfortable. I had back surgery in May (L5, S1 fusion) and was feeling super tight in my lower back. The people are very nice, the place itself is clean and comfortable,and the therapists was extremley thorough with her questions. I have been in severe pain for almost a month and have recently just begun coming to this place after having to go to the ER, within the first session I had some form of relief and I am SO thankful. My Dr. sent me to physical therapy for a pulled muscle and just after a few weeks I was feeling so much better! After leaving therapy I ended back there for my right shoulder which now is feeling much better! Many Thanks for all of their help/care and personal attention is so very incredible!! My daughter needed physical therapy for a recurring sprained ankle and Timberline came highly recommended by her orthopedic doctor. We live in North Portland but would make the trek 2-3 times a week for therapy. They really focused on her ability to play sports again. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. My only wish is that I knew about Timberline after my auto accident. read more

I have been to Timberline Physical Therapy on numerous occasions and have always had the best experience while getting treatment. Most recently I suffered a broken leg and the staff was terrific in helping my rehabilitation. They are the best!! read more

I had high hopes coming here for the first few times. Soon, the entire staff was suddenly gone and the only one who remained was the egocentric owner. I will never go back to be treated by him. My therapy I received was so inconsistent. I hated having to talk with different PT's every time, it is frustrating to explain things a million times. The front desk people were super friendly and the assistants were pretty good. Zane killed the atmosphere when he decided he needed to come run the show. The other PT's were superb but are suddenly no longer there. I am happy they get to go work somewhere else so they can be appreciated!! read more
