So, I began physical therapy after my TKR in October at a different PT office, and was so dissatisfied after just two visits I had to seek PT elsewhere. I found Therapydia on Yelp, and from the moment I called and spoke with Taylor, I felt they really cared! I was actually able to get an evening appointment the very next day and Kelly, my therapist, is the #1 reason my recovery has gone so rapidly. Kelly is so encouraging and even though I have a love/hate relationship with her (mostly love!), she genuinely cares about my recovery and progress, and wants me to succeed. The other place I started could care less about me, and I was just passed around from the therapist to the aide, and never once had any hands-on treatment, which is something you need your therapist to do! I will be sad to end my therapy with Kelly, but my progress has been nothing short of amazing and I owe it all to Kelly and Therapydia! I cannot recommend them enough! read more

From the minute I walked into the door at Therapydia I was welcomed warmly by Emily at the front desk and the Physical Therapist Adria. The office is bright modern, comfortable and very clean. Due to a skiing accident, I began seeing Adria for pre-surgical and post-surgical rehab as well as non-surgical injuries to my opposite leg. One of the most important things I learned about Therapydia is that they allow their Physical Therapist to see one individual at a time, without being passed on to another person, such as a PT assistant. So, Adria is able to give consistent care throughout the visit, including movements to joints injured, exercises, stamina/energy lost during recovery, as well as some pain relief. I've been going to Therapydia for nearly five months now to treat sciatic and leg/hip problems. They managed to eliminate the sciatica pain within a few weeks and we are now working on regaining strength in my leg and getting me walking again. My first contact with this office was Taylor on the front desk. I was impressed with her friendliness and ability to answer my questions; she made an excellent first impression which has continued all the time I have been there. My PT is Adria who works me hard! (ok, she might disagree) but is always careful not to overdo and is very aware of my weak areas. She is friendly and fun to work with and, as much as I might complain about being sore, I am making good progress. Adria is AMAZING! I am a very unusual case, so none of the answers/treatments come from a text book. I have been seeing Adria for not quite a year, and my strength and mobility improvement in that time is incredible. She works with me for the entire duration of my appointment and is able to figure out through moving her own body the best way to improve my body. Adria is one of the best physical therapists I've ever worked with. She always listens, and takes great care to understand and solve my issues. For instance, when I resumed walking after my injury and felt tightness in my hip flexors that I couldn't overcome with any of the standard stretches, she refused to give up and spent an entire session until we found a variant that worked for me. Both therapists, Adria and Kelly, are smart and engaged and willing to learn if there's some thing outside of their current expertise.
