Then one day it's like someone flipped a switch, they stopped checking in on my progress, didn't really acknowledge me when I was there, they would have one of the new hires deal with me, wouldn't even say hi anymore. There was one time I canceled a couple weeks do to health reasons & when I called to reschedule my usual 2 days I went aparently they only scheduled me for one of the days so when I showed up a second time that week on my typical day & time, I got scolded by Sophie that I "can't just show up" when I don't have an appointment. She was very rude. Then they quickly dropped me saying they're not going to be accepting my insurance anymore. They had Sophie relay the message instead of telling me themselves. At that point I was not feeling welcomed anymore so I just let it go. Very disappointed in the way things ended. I expected more from them because I know they are good people with a great practice.

When I was there, several people had walked around with absolutely nothing covering their faces and the staff did not care or even attempt to address it. After seeing this (and potentially being exposed due to their negligence) I approached the front desk to ask about the mask policy, I was told "well some of our patients have medical conditions, so they can't wear a mask" (to be clear, the people I saw without masks did not appear to struggle with breathing in the slightest). I am appalled that a business providing health care can't be bothered to protect its patients.

In addition, we have had such amazing therapeutic care from Shannon that I tell anyone I meet this is the place to go if you're in pain and willing to do the work. Personally, I appreciate the exercise hand outs. I would have no idea what exercises to choose from Dr. Google, nor feel confident I was preforming them correctly! I personally have gotten help with a lower back issue that often left me bed ridden for days, plantar fasciitis that had me hobbling and arthritis in my hands. I am 57 years old & next weekend I am running the Portland marathon, my SIXTH marathon and going into it injury free. For myself I would give BPT more than 5 stars if it was an option.
