Bit of backstory - I never had Chase Bank before moving here to Washington. I have had the same…read moresmall chain bank back in Michigan that I have had the last 30 years (my entire life) and the same credit union I had been a member of for 10 years. I was SUPER nervous about signing up for a big-name bank like Chase, but because my bank and credit union didn't have branches here, I also didn't want to pay mega service charges every time I needed cash. I signed up online and I'll be honest - Things did NOT start well. I got to Washington and immediately needed to deposit a check but when I came into this branch, they had no record of my account (although I had already deposited $200.00 online so I'd have a bit waiting for me). Turns out it was my own darn fault - I was supposed to bring my drivers licence into a local branch within a week of signing up and when I didn't, they put my account on "hold". Thankfully, the ladies here were ABSOLUTELY wonderful and came up with solutions for me to be able to quickly deposit my check, pay my rent right away, and get me set up properly. I have nothing but good things to say about them - I've run into a few issues since then but I always go into this branch and they take care of me.

Sound Credit Union has been my only bank since I was 16. My dad was a longtime member and helped me…read moreset up my account, and I've just never left! This location is the closest one to me and I've been a couple of times. Once to go in and print a new debit card which I was able to get immediately with no problems, and once to go through the drive through. Both times I had great service from the tellers. I have three young kids so the idea of having to physically GO INTO the bank is enough to make my skin crawl, so I definitely appreciate being able to go through the drive through for simple tasks/transactions. Another feature that I appreciate about Sound is that they are very strict when it comes to fraud and suspicious transactions. So much so, that I have to call them and let them know whenever I am booking an Airbnb (apparently they see a lot of fraud/scams happening with people booking rental houses) and if I don't give them a heads up, the transaction is denied. Over the years I can't even tell you how many security calls I've gotten to ensure charges are mine. Overall have been super happy with my decision to stay with Sound and not sure if I'll ever make the jump to another bank!
