Timberlakes Cuisine Timberlakes Cuisine is a Boise-based soul food mobile kitchen that is owned and operated by Chef Brandon Timberlake and his wife Adrianni, who moved here from Las Vegas. They serve food every Saturday evening, starting at 5 PM. They post their menu on Thursday on their FB page. They are located on the corner of Orchard and Gage. The address posted on their Facebook page is 918 N. Orchard. It's in the parking lot of a business called Solutions To Go. I visited Timberlakes Cuisine for the first time on 7/30/22. The menu for that night was 3 Smoked Brisket or Smoked Carnitas Tacos with Smoked Mac & Cheese, and house-made Green Verde Salsa ($17.50). You could mix-and-match. I got two brisket and one Carnitas taco. The food was excellent! The meat had been slow cooking for hours. The salsa had a nice kick to it. The mac & cheese was flavorful and creamy. My plan was to just eat two of the tacos and one of the scoops of mac & cheese, saving the rest for tomorrow, but I could not resist. I hoovered the whole thing in one sitting. Can't wait to see what's on the menu next week! Highly Recommended!!!

If you like mushy bland trash I can do it for you for half the cost. Mac and cheese, mushy and gross Red beans and rice, bland Cornbread, dry, hard, cold and gross Lemon cake/bars, mushy/wet, hard like a hint of ginger and was unique. If it wasn't for the texture maaaaaybe this would have been the star of the items we had. Got the cobbler said cherry or peach, it was a pineapple cherry mix that was complete mush and absolutely inedible. Fucking joke 1/4 chicken was hard and dry af with zero flavor. I feed it to my dog Last but not least was a full rack of ribs. Tender great flavor, a bit fatty but really good. But with everything else a complete disaster it ruined the experience of the ribs. My kids couldn't stomache it and I had to order from another place for dinner. Not fucking happy. If you dont give a fuck sbout your business, shut it down then. I would never serve that food to anyone especially for what we paid for it. Yeah, I'm pissed the fuck off. Never again, period!!! If you think I'm being harsh, you are correct. It was a disgrace to soul food and anyone that would buy it.

Owner/Operator Travis graciously accommodated my request to put together a plate that had a little bit of everything on it. I got two large boxes of food for $32.33 that included the following: Jerk Chicken Breast Jerk Shrimp Oxtail and Butter Beans Coconut Curry Chicken Coconut Curry Shrimp Beef Pattie Cucumber Salad Rice & Peas The Jerk Chicken and Shrimp comes with a jerk sauce and a habanero sauce. I have had Jamaican style oxtail once before. Of all the meats, the oxtail was my favorite. The only downside with oxtail in general is that the meat to bone ratio is low. The meat was caramelized, tender and very flavorful. Of the sides, the cucumber salad was my favorite. This cucumber salad was different than any I've had before. It had a slightly sweet flavor. I could happily eat a large bowl of it. The Beef Pattie was my least favorite. Though it was described as spicy, it didn't seem spicy at all to me. It seemed mildly seasoned and nondescript. Like and follow Ya Mon Jamaican Jerk Grill's FB page to track when it's open, as well as location and hours.

The Asian gentlemen that was working the counter was so nice! He helped us through the menu since it was our first time there. He took our orders and was fun and kind! My friend and I basically ordered the same thing. We snagged a hot dog corndog with potatoes and a cheese stick in it's original form. These babies came out hot!! They were fried to a perfect golden brown. I started off with the potatoe crusted dog! I dipped that baby in ketchup and mustard, it was so good! I did order some hot cheese thinking it was hot cheese but it's actually hot in spice. It was still good and had a good amount of heat to it. I took a bite of the cheese dog and it had the best cheese pull! I didn't eat much of it cause the potatoe corndog was huge! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. The gentleman did give us a couple extra sauces to try. He gave us a couple honey packets so i look forward to eating the rest of my cheese dog with the honey. The venue was big and bright! I noticed they have one of those big garage doors. I can imagine it being a fun spot to hit up during spring and early summer. I have nothing to say but good things about this place! Staff was nice. Food was good. Venue was clean! I look first to going back and trying the hot cheetos corndog!
