We did bring an air purifier bc we have kids w allergies and it does have some smoke smell. But the purifier completely erases that. Was told by the proprietor that he couldn't find a plumber, toilets had been overflowing for awhile. Although I asked for a spot close to the bathroom, (glad I didn't get one) the road to the spot I was headed to was being graded as we entered. The camp was half empty and many concrete pads were available, I was given a gravel one. We have traveled across the country and this was then worst camp we have ever been to, we won't be back, would have been better if we just pulled into a truck stop on I-70. Without working restrooms, I thought I. MIght have been offered a refund, but won't be back and I hope others find this helpful.

We took the Skytour up to the winery which was really fun and a unique way to get to the winery. It was super cold outside, so I was glad to see they had a closed in gondola for us to sit in instead of the open seat ( I would have frozen). Once we got up to the top, we were able to walk into the winery pretty quickly and since it was not too busy, we sat at a table and our server/bartender came over to check in on us and provided some menus for us to look over. We opted for some wine flights and we ordered a spin dip and a charcuterie board for the table. The wine flights were all tasty. The bartender selected 5 samples of dry, sweet and semi sweet wines for us to try. I liked how she gave us some local wines and some non local wines. It was a good mix. All day on Saturday that's all I saw was non stop vehicle traffic by my cabin. Make sure you spray yourself with Tick spray before walking around. Our dogs got ticks on them and so did I. I have not had one since I was a kid. Thankfully, not the kind that carry Lyme disease. They kept the grounds looking great. It was easy to check in. It is a nice place, but I was not expecting so many people in that area. The cabins around us were booked or it were people coming in for the weekend and they were quiet and that was nice and adhered to the dark sky and noise ordinances. The not so good review is due to distracted drivers and speeding in the area. I did not like that. Now the whole experience talking to the staff was 5 stars and the Security Gate people were top notch and were very friendly and very helpful too.
