The place doesn't look like much from the outside, only because it's attached to a petrol station. Don't let that fool you, this is an uuuupscale market. Not only did I find a breakfast bagel that turned out to be the best I've ever tasted, but I found some delightful frufru juice to wash it all down. The sandwich: Egg, cheese, Canadian bacon, and some magical tomato-y? sauce smashed between a poppyseed bun ... Seriously, the best I've ever devoured. I took one bite and I'm pretty sure my eyes popped out of my head at the same moment my brain was thinking "what is this sorcery!?" Tip: They will heat the sammie up for you at the coffee counter.

It wasn't like any scone I've ever had it was more like thin cornbread cut in a triangle. It was light and soft unlike most scones but was delicious. Then I took 2 German chocolate whoopee pies, 2 oatmeal cream filled whoopee pies, 2 margarita cup cakes, 2 brownies, 2 blueberry bread pudding cupcakes and 3 peach turnovers. The German chocolate whoopee pies were a chocolate overload and the pecan coconut filled was perfect, these were a hit especially with my chocolate loving hubby. He also enjoyed the oatmeal whoopee pie very flavorful lot of spice taste. As I write this I have not tried the margarita cupcakes or the brownies if necessary I'll up date the review. I did taste the blueberry bread pudding cupcake and it was ok a little dry but tasty. The peach turnovers were made from a puff pastry type crust they were light and airy full of peach filling, very good. I'll be back but maybe not so may items as they averaged around $4 each. But it's a small local bakery and she's doing a great job!! Great to have fresh baked goods in town.

I had the feta and spinach croissant which was also delicious. I'm a croissant snob, and while I would classify it as a bun and not a croissant (sorry, but a real croissant is so flaky it crumbles when you break it!), I didn't care. It was that good. We also had the multigrain bread and baguette. They were both delicious, and I think the baguette was the best I have had outside of France. Add to that the friendly service and the fact that they use locally sourced ingredients, this little gem of a bakery/restaurant is a must to visit while either living in or visiting Creston!
