This is my favorite breakfast spot!! I always get great service and the food is awesome. I get the smothered stack every single time because it's so delicious. I wish they served breakfast all day. I've also had the chicken and waffle which I were also good but the waffles were just a tad bland and dry in my opinion. Service is one of the best parts. I haven't been in awhile but when I was going more often my waitress always remembered me and my order. I order from DoorDash every once in awhile and the portion is always on point and so is the flavor but nothing beats dining in the restaurant when it comes out nice and warm with a cup of coffee that they are good about stopping by to top you off. Very disappointed last 2 visits. Went for breakfast and food was not even warm, eggs were barley cooked when ordered over medium. Our waitress was not attentive, had to track her down to inform of the problem. She offered to have our hashbrowns and eggs re-made so of course the rest of our food was really cold by then. My husband and I were at Tim's 8/30/19 around 9:45am and had a fantastic breakfast! We have been there many times for breakfast/lunch and have always had the best food. Everyone is so polite and personable from the greeter hostess to the servers. Yesterday when we went for breakfast the place was hopping with people and there the servers were still making all of us feel as we were not neglected. The young woman that was the greeter was helping out the servers with clearing tables and bringing coffee around which was a huge help!! Everyone worked so well together and everything flowed great! I was excited to try a new place I had seen on FB, but sadly was dissapointed, I drove from Federal Way to Puyallup South Hill. The regular pricing is quite high, I went specifically to get the $5 boxcar breakfast consisting of two eggs, toast, hashbrowns, and choice of sausage or bacon, so it was a good value, similar to Denny's $2,4,6,8. I ordered my eggs over medium but got them over easy, I ordered my hashbrowns light but they were super crispy, I had to flag down the waitress for a water refill, and the food temp was horrible, not really even lukewarm. The floor also needed swept. Waitresses have over casual sloppy appearance. The place is new so it takes time to iron out kinks, perhaps at a later date I might try a evening special to see if it has improved, not saying don't go, you will have to form your own opinion! read more

We arrived at Tim's approximately 1128 this morning. We were sat reasonably around 1138. The host greeted us brought out water and even helped us decide our meal. The host was so great I thought he was the waiter. I began looking around to see who would be our server. She finally arrived at table 1158 to receive our order. We seen her (Sarah) again when she brought our meal. When the meal arrived I had to wait additional 14 mins for my pancake; singular and small. My wife needed her waffle warmed up. However, the food was actually great. Server Sarah, came by to bill us. What went wrong: Server, did not speak or great us at all during wait. Server (CSR) Customer service skills needed much improvement. I believe that our meals were in the back extensively waiting for server to pick up meal because of my wife waffle needing to be reheated. The Server could have told me the size of pancake or made suggestions. Right: Food was good. Price was great. Conclusion: We will try again with different server. Went for lunch with my dad (Thursday around 1pm) The service was good, drinks were brought in a timely matter and tasted great. We got the sampler platter appetizer and it was tasty. My family and I have enjoyed brunch twice since this restaurant newly opened in Puyallup. The restaurant is clean and the staff are all warm and friendly! TK's vast menus offer plenty of choices for the mixed vegetarian and meat lovers in our family. The fried chicken is the bombdiggitiest with the perfect crispy outside and tender juicey inside! My vegetable omelette was filled with fresh vegetables, not at all greasy! Their cobbler was a real treat! First time here. Came in at 11:30 wanting lunch but they don't serve lunch until 12. I think there should be something on the door or the hostess should let people know as most restaurants serve both. Our server was friendly! We decided to stay anyways, my bf ordered the burrito which assumed it was big with the name of it. But it was actually small for the $14.99 it costs. I ordered the country fried chicken. It was good, potatoes were bland. My kids got a kids pancake it was good sized for a kids item. I definitely would not go back for breakfast for the prices and sizes of portions I'll stick to black bear. I may go back and try lunch but not sure after readin other reviews. A group of three of us, two Hispanics and one white, walked in and a white lady walked in behind us and spoke up behind us and told the waiter seating for one and the waiter actually sat her before sitting us which I thought was rude. The waiter didn't come to greet us until approximately 7-8 minutes after we sat there and took our drink order and can back promptly but said she'd be back to take our order. 7-8 minutes later, she took our order. By this time the older white lady who cut in front of us had already gotten her food and ate it. I started my stop watch to see how long it'd take them to get our food to us and when I last looked at my stop watch it was 22minutes and 28 seconds. It must've been 5 min or so after that that we actually got our food. The line to be seated while we were waiting was outside the door and the door was left open. The food was good, we had breakfast, and the price was also good for what you got. Unfortunately I was very underwhelmed with this new restaurant. I was really hoping to like it, has a nice lay out and a very cool feel. The waiter was extremely nice but seemed a little frazzled. My order was scramble eggs, white toast, bacon, diced potatoes. When taking our order, the waiter had to look at the menu to see what different choices he needed to ask us (meat, cook on eggs, bread,ext). Food didn't take long to come out at all and the whole place was packed which was cool but I got all of the wrong food. They sent me hash browns and wheat toast. After the waiter took my plate back to the kitchen to fix. He brought back the same plate but looked like they just wiped some of the hash browns off, as there were still some hash browns on there and grease going down and off the side of the plate. The home fries were cut small and burnt mixed with raw onions, no seasoning. Looked like I got one egg scramble and was way over done. We had dinner on a Wednesday night and arrived at about 5:30pm. The staff is very pleasant, but everything else about this place says" Not ready for prime time" This was our second time here. We had lunch one day with disastrous results. We ordered to go and it took them 3 times to get our order correct. Tonight, we got a table fairly quickly and needed one high chair, The restaurant has a total of 4 and all were in use. So my daughter sat on my lap for quite some time til one became available. I ordered a cup of coffee, but it never showed up. When I got my salad, we were short a fork at the table, I asked for one and it too never showed up. I ended up using the one my daughter was holding as she did not need it for her meal. It took over an hour to get our meal. The stick on my son's corn dog was broke, the crust on my wife's pot pie was burnt on one side and under-cooked on the other, I had the Chicken Alfredo and have tasted better Alfredo sauce from a store bought jar. My other son, who is a picky eater did like the mini-corn dogs. We were there almost 2 hours. I am guessing their strong point is breakfast which we haven't had yet. I think we will wait awhile before returning. Hopefully, they can figure it out soon because the South Hill is desperate for a good family restaurant and thus far, this isn't it. read more

I struggle with this post, I wanted to love this place and frankly had brushed off all the negative comments, I was torn on recommend or not recommend. My husband had the lumberjack hobo hash which was delicious and a slightly smaller than dinner plate and seemed pricey at 1499 I had the ham and cheddar omelette which was by far the thinnest omelette I've ever had in my life. I don't know that my pictures will do it justice $30 later for breakfast not counting tip was expensive. We have had much better breakfast for far cheaper. The service was great (Lia although new did a great job) the wait time was appropriate however there were only about six other tables with people at the time we were there my over cooked diced potatoes with onions I'm not sure you can see them in the picture but there was two tiny pieces of onion in there I almost forgot it came with onions at first. All in all does not make me want to rush back sadly if you do go don't try the omelettes I did see somebody that ordered the meat lovers stacker and I was super surprised on how small that was. We have eaten at the one in Orting before and had a good experience but definitely this one has some ways to go most likely depending on what you order.Maybe give it time before you rush down. read more
