From the start, he was not only friendly and professional but also punctual, which I truly appreciated. I initially hired Oscar to help with some drainage issues I was having in my garden due to heavy rain, and he got the job done incredibly fast and efficiently. What stood out most was his creativity--Oscar offered fantastic ideas to transform my garden into something beautiful. I'm already looking forward to working with him again in the near future to bring those ideas to life. If you're looking for someone who combines expertise with a great attitude, Oscar is the one to hire!

The guys from COLORWORKS have done a couple of jobs for us. They did a small landscape…read moreproject. The project included fixing the beginning of the drainage pipes in the back yard. It looks beautiful now and we are very pleased. We recently called to repair a drainage pipe that another company had screwed up. The pipe was under artificial turf at the curb. They repaired the pipe asking our approval at every step. They took out a wrinkle the other company left in the turf. We would recommend COLORWORKS for any landscaping job. Our recommendation for employee of the month would be Felipe. He was on his hand and knees brushing the turf to level out the new sand. He then came back on a Saturday with a motorized brush to make sure the job was finished perfectly.

I inquired with about 3 other local businesses here on Yelp and so far David's communication and thoroughness in explaining his process and how he operates has led me to believe that he will take any project with seriousness and care. I have yet to move forward with any projects as I've only sent him some designs that I have. There are plans to have David actually come on site to take a more in depth look at our house and perhaps discuss more in detail about materials and budget, but more to come on that as we still have yet to schedule a date and time based on his availability, but so far the interaction has been pleasant. Looking forward to sharing more updates about the experience even if we don't move forward with DC Landscape & Design.

Despite multiple requests for repairs under the warranty, the owner has refused to come out and fix the issue. Based on my experience and the message history, this company does not stand behind its work. recently interviewed 28 contractors for my project, and unfortunately, this contractor was among…read morethe most disappointing in terms of professionalism. As seen in the screenshot I attached, after I politely informed him that we had chosen to go with another contractor, his response was unnecessarily passive-aggressive and unprofessional. I don't believe it's appropriate for a business to respond to potential clients this way -- especially when the communication was respectful. It's understandable that not every contractor will get every job. But the way someone reacts in these situations says a lot about their attitude and how they might handle challenges during the actual project. My advice to others: professionalism and basic respect matter just as much as skill. There are many great contractors out there -- choose one who makes you feel comfortable and respected throughout the process. Definitely not the one I would recommend, based on my experience.

A+ experience, A+ construction and A+ service!…read more These guys are really awesome! They are not only great at what they do, they also are professional. We had a great experience from start to finish. We were looking to complete a back yard remodel that included a brand new patio, laying down tile on the patio floor, ripping out old grass and brick and replacing with turf and a putting green while also laying down a sidewalk for our kids to ride our bike with. Tim and Sam stopped by to give a quote and also shared their recommendations and thoughts to bring our back yard vision to life. They did the complete demo, cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and built our backyard from the ground up. The backyard is amazing and our kids love it. We were super impressed by their work, their professionalism and their transparency with communication. They are awesome and I would highly recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be calling them back for phase 2 project for our front yard landscaping!!!

We had a real bad experience just about a month ago, early September 2024. Do not hire these guys…read more I wish I read reviews and I wish I payed more attention to their massive YouTube channel where they actually share so much negativity about their own customers. Big red flag. Sharing my horrible experience with this company. Even Signed their contract which they didn't honor. They did most of the preparation for the concrete job in my backyard (1.5 days) . Caused some damage to existing concrete ( two cracks, one chuck missing, uneven cut of existing concrete), they decided to not continue the job and stopped working. Literally wanted to part ways because I asked them to resolve thier damage. However, they did verbally communicate they will not continue, they didn't just disappear. But I thought it was unprofessional to not finish the project and not resolve the damage they caused. I had already paid 10% upfront. I had to hire another company causing major delay in my project as well as new company having to fix lots of preparation mistakes done by Odell. Just proceed with caution if you are going to evaluate working with them. Happy to discuss and validate if you message me. Very unethical and unprofessional to not finish a job because "I was asking questions." Tim one of the owners thought I didn't respect his expertise enough. They didn't want to fix their damage and were in over their heads. They deleted and blocked me on their social media when I tried sharing my experience but thankful Yelp is honest and leaves reviews up. Please hire a company with integrity, these guys take shortcuts and did not finish my job left my yard all tore up and prepared for concrete pour but left and did not want to finish. They also busted 3 sprinklers during prep which I didn't even bring up to them. Ultimately I am thankful now that the job is completed with the right company and I avoided quality issues with Odell.

Some issues needed fixing: -water main leaked twice (one during digging and again after pouring) -tear-off expansion board incorrectly installed (not flat along some walls causing pour to be wavy, and not level with pour so I couldn't tear-off and sikacaulk.. had to do some tedious cutting first) -turf started growing weeds and grass along edges because weed barrier wasn't installed deep enough (recommend turf caulk along edges during installation) -damaged some plants during digging -ordered excess concrete mix so we overpaid Just need to be more careful throughout the project and most of these can be avoided. Still highly recommend Francisco!
