From the beginning, he was very responsive and communicative about his services, expectations and things to consider for the big day. As someone who was planning her own wedding and did not have a coordinator, I very much appreciated his guidance and wisdom since he has so much experience with shooting weddings! He was very understanding and patient when it came to details regarding my timeline (which I sent to him only a week before the event). On the day of, we were running late in the morning, but Justin showed up early and even kindly stayed 20 minutes later than scheduled to make sure we could squeeze in all the group pictures that we wanted. Also, to both of our surprises, my uncle showed up with a camera, but Justin was very understanding and accommodating about the matter and made sure both he and my uncle were able to capture shots without getting in each other's ways. Justin did such a wonderful job positioning my husband and me for shots. We did not really come with any ideas in mind, but Justin had such a wide array of poses, both direct and candid, that we absolutely loved. He also did such a great job showcasing both of us individually and fluffing my train/highlighting the beauty of my wedding dress! Andrew, his son and the second photographer, was also so sweet and helped make sure the full effect of my veil was captured on camera. If I could give zero stars I would…read more I was talking with this photographer for a month, trying to find a date to do Mother's Day photos. We finally confirmed a date for May 2nd, and she emailed saying that "in order to secure the date, I need to send a deposit of $500.00." I asked to have a phone call before I just Zelle money to a random person, but she said she doesn't take phone calls from clients because she's too busy. She then said there is someone else wanting May 2nd and for me to hurry with the deposit. So I went ahead with good faith and Zelle'd her $500.00 on Friday. She sent me her contract Friday night, which was Passover, so we were busy with the family holiday and didn't get a chance to fully review the contract until Sunday morning. Which at that point, she emailed me saying that May 2nd is no longer available, and the contract had been canceled. I sent the deposit with the confirmation that it was to secure the May 2nd date. There's no other date that works for my family, so I asked for a refund since she can no longer honor the agreed date. At first, she said no, her policy is no refunds on deposits. She then said, okay, she will refund me but it will take 3 business days. And now she is completely refusing to refund us, and stopped all communication, and said she's reporting us to her bank as fraud! Like, are you kidding me! She blatantly stole money from us! It's clear this lady is a professional scam artist and does this shady stuff often. I should have known when she refused to speak with me on the phone. Red flag! We honestly don't know what to do, or how to get our money back. As a client I would beware of this lady! It's so sad how dishonest some people are. I believe in Karma and I know karma will do its job with this lady!
