This review is way overdue considering we first started working with Sarah back in 2017! Sarah is very special and is literally amazing at what she does. Back in 2016 when my now husband and I got engaged I was looking for a specific type of photographer. Getting Sarah to do our engagement and wedding photos is by far, one of the best decisions my now-husband and I have made for our wedding! Going in, my then-fiance and I knew we definitely wanted to stay away from wedding photos that felt too posed/stiff/staged. We also wanted to not just showcase ourselves, but our wedding venue (Aquarium of the Pacific) and the locations of our engagement photos, since they held significant sentimental value for both of us. We are so in love with her work and her as a person. Not only does she quickly respond back to clients but she goes above and beyond helping you with location spots, outfit ideas and just being the best ever! If you're uncomfortable in front of the camera don't worry it all fades away when you're working with Sarah. She guides you she encourages you she's your ultimate hype girl. She sends a mini gallery after your shoot in a very timely manner I want to say each time we got our minis back within a week. And when we got our final photos each time. They were 100% worth the wait! I also love how honest and open she is about style. Each photographer has her own style but she is open to working with you on a scale. Obviously photography is an art so she needs to stay true to her style but she was definitely the most open about a little change to fit my husband's preferences. Sarah is amazing and very talented! We booked a family photo session with Sarah in Laguna Beach. The weather was uncooperative and so was our baby but she made the most out of poor weather conditions and fussy baby and was still able to take beautiful photos of us and capture those precious moments. We love that Sarah is flexible and adaptive to unpredictable situations and is still able to produce beautiful photos. I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to family and friends.
