After a bit of shopping in the Trafford Centre with my brother, we made a decision to stop by the 'Flag Ship' Trafford Krispy Kreme store for a coffee and Donut each. After seeing how big the queue for the drive through was, we decided to go into the store and have our little treat inside. When you get into the store, you are faced with what can only be described as Donut lovers Heaven! Behold, for before you is a conveyor belt of Donut, after Donut, after Donut, just floating on by towards a waterfall of Sugar Glazed Utopia... or in other words Spin class, after Spin class, after Spin class worth of goodies that would need to be burned off the next week for all of you watching your waistline! Bearing this in mind, we both opted for a Regular Hot Drink combo [which comprises of a reg hot drink and any 2 donuts £5] rather than a dozen. We were served within 5 minutes and made our way to the seating area.... now, i understand that it was probably a busy time on a Saturday evening, but it doesn't excuse the fact that there was rubbish on at least a third of the empty tables and half eaten donuts and paper on the floor. It took at least 10-15 minutes before someone came out to clear the tables. Its a shame the eat in area was like this actually, because the donuts and Latte we had where delicious! Over all my experience of the actual Krispy Kreme donuts where fantastic, this store just needs a member of staff just tidying up non stop. I'm not the first person I know to mention that it was untidy when they visited at an earlier date either! For that reason, I'm giving KK 4 stars just on the strength of the actual product they sell!

The big draw for this particular Krispy Kreme store is that it is one of the "hot light" stores,…read moremeaning that periodically through the day, you will see the production line in action, and see the way the donuts are created right in front of you, and sometimes you are offered a fresh donut straight off the conveyor belt, just after it's passed through the glaze waterfall. Warm, goopy, vanishes in your mouth! Yum! The donuts are great quality, and there's a good selection, with specials and limited editions occurring regularly. They also do a good range of hot and cold drinks, some American confectionery, and even Krispy Kreme merchandise. The venue itself is big, bright and open plan, as it was purpose built. It only has a single (disabled-style) toilet though. It has plenty of seating, from booths, to tables and chairs, to bar-style seating, and seating outside. Being an American company, the staff are given training to ensure they have that perfect, friendly, American style customer service attitude, which makes you feel welcome, and happy. The staff are superb, and do their jobs excellently. This store also has a drive through, for if you want a sneaky coffee and a donut on the way home, but as it's open so late, you might as well pop inside and take your time! My only slight criticism aside from the toilet issue is that the 'bar' where you get your sugar, milk etc, is well stocked (including sweetener, not just white/brown sugar), but only has napkins and doesn't have any wet-wipes, which with the type of glaze used on the donuts, would be very welcome indeed, as sticky fingers and paper napkins don't go well together! Come on, KK, if KFC can do it, surely you can! The most fun thing to me aside watching the production line, is that there are free 1950's soda-jerk style hats around with the Krispy Kreme logo on, so grab one and put it on, especially if you're grabbing a box of 12 to take out... you need to look the part when bringing donut joy to your friends and family.... (unless you keep them all to yourself! OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!)

I can't believe that this place hasn't got hundreds of reviews already…read more... Especially as when we walked down the stairs, (on a Sunday afternoon) to the small basement shop, we were greeted by a huge queue! Now,I'd read about doughnotts from a vegan blog about the amazing range of vegan donuts that they offer and this spiked my interest, so the next time I was in Nottingham I made sure to try some of their delights. I'm not a vegan so tried their basic donuts of red velvet, chocolate and plain at a bargain of 3 for £5. They also do some super fancy premumium donuts that are slightly more expensive but looked absolutely spectacular! The donuts were absolutely delicious and were just as soft and tasty as the obvious big chain competitors. It also feels great to support a local business and I'm so pleased to hear that they have now opened another store in Derby. And before you ask... it's not called Doughderby. Thank goodness they've stuck with the name Doughnotts (which I love by the way). I donut know where else you could get a donut as good as here.

It is a small unit, they do have a small seating range, the store did feel to have a lack of room to the point where if it was busy, you might even have to wait outside, on a nice day there is room for outdoor seating which would be a good idea when the UK government guidelines allow it. I ordered a large iced vanilla latte, it was a little expensive at £3.50, this would have cost more than going to many of my regular favourite coffee shops including Black Sheep Coffee, Joe and the Juice and Starbucks, sadly none of which seem to have branches in Bury. My coffee was overfilled which meant it was hard to put the straw in without all the drink gushing out, the lid also seemed poor quality so didn't help with that. I had to stir my drink as all the syrup was at the bottom, but the coffee was pretty bad quality, it tasted slightly watery and lacked freshness. The store looked good (despite the fact it could easily appear cramped with only a few people), and is a nice brand to have in Bury, but with overpriced coffee at mediocre quality, it isn't somewhere I'd want to return. 2* Review #3400

Dunkin Donuts is a brand which for some needs no introduction, being huge in the US and even large…read morein some countries around Europe and the rest of the world, including The Netherlands but in the UK, it doesn't seem to have taken off with only a few branches in locations including Leeds, Liverpool, Barnsley and London. This branch of Dunkin Donuts is located inside St John's Shopping Centre in Liverpool. People visiting this place hoping for a slightly quiet coffee will be happy to know, this is a store in the mall rather than a mall kiosk, despite it being located right next to, and perhaps even being classed as the Food Court of St John's, it does has its own store and small amount of seating with plug sockets. The store doesn't have free wi-fi, but it's pretty much easy to connect to St John's wifi with your name and email, it worked pretty well in the store and the shopping centre wifi was actually decent, unlike some which are just terrible. The store was quite quiet on my visit, and they only seemed to have one member of staff working - there was only a small queue but this could have been handled better as my server seemed to take the order, and then prepare it, for example getting out the doughnuts chosen from the stand, where they had a decent selection (nothing gluten-free though!) or making the drink. Having previously visited Dunkin Donuts once before, while in the Netherlands I had good impressions for this store, and I ordered the same drink as I did while in Amsterdam - A Large Cold Brew with Vanilla Syrup and Milk. This also tends to pretty much be my regular go to order when drinking coffee including at Starbucks. My drink cost £3.25, which included no extra charge for milk and a £0.50 charge for vanilla syrup, which was worth it as it added sweetness and flavour to my beverage. My overall drink quality was satisfactory, I would still rate it below Starbucks in the pecking order though but it was a good alternative, at an average price, my drink did cost 5p more than Starbucks but the standard Cold Brew was cheaper, as I did have to pay for flavouring syrup which is free as I'm a Gold Member of Starbucks Rewards. The drink was also slightly cheaper than the price I paid when I visited Dunkin Donuts at Amsterdam Centraal Station, the only other time I've visited the chain. The staff member working didn't seem friendly enough, although he was the only person behind the counter at a time so did have quite a large and busy role to do, meaning there was less focus on friendliness and customer interaction. They seemed to stock most items in store, although they did run out of caramel flavouring syrup and I didn't see anywhere around the store a list of flavourings offered which would have been a bonus, as I was basically going into the store adding vanilla syrup, not knowing if they offered it (although any coffee shop worth its salt would have vanilla syrup) or how much the syrup would be. Overall, this is a decent place to grab a coffee or a donut in St John's Shopping Centre, although I feel it would be better located closer to the One complex, the location is still decent and it's fairly close to Liverpool Lime Street Station too, which is Liverpool's main train station for journeys to other major cities, with Liverpool Central being the main station for Merseyside journeys, but Dunkin Donuts at St John's is decent and warrants a three-star rating!

Their chai latte is tasteful, and the small selection of panini's are always tasty, especially with a refreshing bottle of pepsi or Fanta. You can charge you phone, power bank, tablet or laptop while having your donut/drink and watch shoppers as the wander by. I would definitely recommend this place as a good pitstop if you are doing shopping, Pokémon go or just chilling with friends. When I have been there , I have been served by the always smiling Jennifer and Olivia. So why not pop in while you are shopping, and have a seat, donut and coffee before loading up on shopping.
