I tried to go for the more unusual options so ended up with the Chorlton Brewery dark Vienna beer ice cream (!) and a New York Magic Cookie brownie, which had crumbled digestive biscuits and dessicated coconut in it. They were both very good, I was really impressed with the ice cream in particular. It had a distinctive beery flavour while still being creamy and delicious. It's not exactly cheap at £5 for a brownie and ice cream, but so worth it for a treat and a fun place to take friends.

There's so many different flavours to pick from, it always takes me a good few minutes to make a decision. They do have the standard flavours like vanilla, mint choc chip, etc, but to mix things up a little bit, they have some genius ideas, such and ice-cream mixed with sweets, biscuits and other delicious sauces. This time I opted for the Jammie Dodger ice-cream - it was perfectly creamy and had little chunks of biscuit in it. I'm not a massive fan of the ice-cream cones so I opted to have mine in a tub. There are however a few different options when it comes to the cones, there's the standard plain one, a chocolate one and one with sprinkles. This is a cute little café, so there are seats so that you can sit down and enjoy your ice-cream. Alternatively you can walk around with it and watch people ski / snowboard through the viewing area. The prices are marvellous for the quality of the products served. I cannot fault this place at all.

A nice little coffee shop with 2 friendly guys working, they seem to do a number of food options with me seeing everything from soups, sandwiches and beans on toast on other patrons plates around me. I ordered my customary Flat White and having picked up on the 'Aussie' voice of the barista I thought I was on to a winner. What arrived for £2.50 was a bowl of coffee - pretty much a latte which although wasn't too bad was about 4 times too big to be a flat white. They may serve the best coffee in Wilmslow...but all I could taste was the milk. When leaving urban centres there always does seem to be a drop in levels of knowledge or a bastardisation of a recipe to suit local needs and unfortunately the flat white seems to suffer from this... I should have gone for an espresso or macchiato instead... A nice little place, pop in if you're after a chilled out place for lunch.

They're easy going and there's good wifi, so it's a great place to perch up for the afternoon and check your emails. At the weekends he has local live musicians playing which is a little bit different to the other things on offer in Wilmslow at the weekend. They also have monthly art exhibitions at the back of the venue! And it's a great pit-stop at the busy artisan markets every month. Again, dog friendly. So it's a winner in my book! James loves dogs too, always gives them a fuss and he has treats on the counter ready in exchange of a belly rub (of the dog of course...)
