Employees here are very unprofessional. I stopped to order a small decaf and cinnamon raisin bagel. The "young lady" with pink hair rudely replied "we ain't got no cinnamon raisin bagels". I repeated in her exact words what she said to me. She then responded "nawl we don't now drive off". Horrible, I will never spend my money at another Tim Hortons again. This is a new spot for us. Over four visits we've had great success on all fronts. Just goes to show. The coffee has been up to par each visit as has the donuts, the Timbits and the sandwiches. Mrs. E reports an exceptional iced tea but they haven't any kettle chips. How we must endure. The personalities are pretty bland. Not rude or short, but not overly friendly. They are fast and accurate, which is the most important thing. The inside could do with a little clean up. Especially the restrooms. I come here probably 2 times a month, this specific location in my area is the only one who sometimes gets my order right, but they never crisp their sandwiches long enough, never enough sauce, food always tastes dry, their Boston creams are always put on top of eachother in a bag so the chocolate comes off & they never ever make my coffee the way it's supposed to.. unless I pay an additional whipped topping & chocolate drizzle charge, which I pay anyways because I don't feel like waiting 12 minutes in line for them to mess it up! So if you are in a hurry and need some timmys, this location isn't trash, but if your drink has a specific needs like whipped topping, or any type of drizzle/syrup make sure you tell them at the order menu, and you will have to pay the additional cost but time is money, how much do you value yours? read more

I have to venture down Telegraph to pay my car note each month, and each time I try to find something edible and not overwhelmingly gag-inducing to eat for lunch. Unfortunately, my options are slim: the closest thing to "decent" I have found (before stopping at this Tim Hortons) was a Mr. Pita that had the same level of dust as the aftermath of Pompeii. Needless to say, my expectations were very low when I pulled into the drive-thru & ordered a bagel sandwich. As I pulled out of the drive thru, however, my spirits soared so high they nearly broke through the roof of my car & entered orbit. Not only was I given an impeccably made (definitely with love as an ingredient!) sandwich, but I was also given the BEST customer service, courtesy of the girl working on 6/20 at 12:30 pm. Kudos to this Tim Hortons, which seems to be the only outstanding food establishment in a five mile radius. read more

It's just a trend in Southfield... Super-slow service, regardless of whether you are in the drive-thru or go inside. The workers have 0% urgency when getting an order together. A simple bagel with butter turns into a 10-minute transaction. I used to work at a bagel shop. I know how long it takes to make a bagel with butter, create a drink order AND ring it up. I'd do it in less than four minutes. So I can absolutely say that the people at this Tim Hortons just suck. They get the order right, I guess, but isn't fast food supposed to be fast? read more

I've been coming here on and off for the past week or so, and this Tim Horton's is just okay. I remember when they came to Michigan, and it seemed like such a big deal at the time, but now it's not as much fun or as tasty as I remember. This locations a okay, but nothing spectacular. Service is fine, food is okay, but the muffins taste kinda bland. The bagels are good, as are the donuts, but the muffins just don't cut it. I'm a Dunkin Donuts girl, and was hoping that this Tim's would impress me with the food, but I can't really say that. I don't know if my tastes have changed, or if the food quality is just not what I thought it was, but overall, its a mediocre at best for the food and coffee itself. Decent menu selection, prices are fair, and they are open 24 hours, which I like. Will probably frequent here on the regular, only because it's easy in easy out. read more

I come here once every morning before I go to work and every single day it seems like I have to correct my order or call them to let them know they have missed something from my order. which is absolutely ridiculous to pay for something and not receive the full services. they get my order wrong at least twice a week. Its a basic Tim Horton, nothing special. It has a drive up and a decent eating area. On the West side of Telegraph, an out building in a strip. Stick with the coffee, Donuts and Timbits. They have limit breakfast, lunch sandwiches and soup. I stop in,waiting for my next sales call. Their dining area was clean enough, it wasn't very busy, but tables and a couple of comfy chairs by a fake fireplace and TV. I didn't need to use the restrooms, so I can't comment on them. If you like their coffee, order your double double and move on. read more

Since they've closed the one nearest to my home I had no choice but to go to this location, and I'll never go back. The staff is rude as I think it was the manager who had taken my order, not sure. I could barely hear the lady talking on the mic so I had said nicely 'sorry I cannot hear you' and received the worst attitude. I ordered 2 combos and got charged for 3, I know that was my fault for not checking the receipt, but also had a watered down ice Capp, and both of my sandwiches were almost frozen I had to reheat WHICH ONE WAS FOR MY CHILD, it was so Disgusting I ended up just throwing away. It wasn't busy whatsoever so there was no excuse as to why it should've been cold. There's no excuse it should've been cold at all! Should have read reviews first. The absolute slowest drive-thru of all the Tim Hortons I've ever been too and I have been to a lot! Couldn't get my coffee order right, it was only one, went inside to have it corrected and was met with rude staff, left and the coffee was still wrong. I needed caffeine to stay awake, as I driving I saw this place. Pulled into the parking lot and went in. The lady behind the counter greeted me with a pleasant smile. I ordered a x-large coffee with Canadian Maple Donut. I take my coffee black. Coffee: not as strong as Starbucks but it was pleasant. Donut: too sweet for my taste. I like the place,plus they also offer FREE WIFI unlike my hotel. I gave three stars for their coffee and friendly staff. read more

I hate to give any tin hortons a bad review, still. Store was clean on the plus but service was sub par and very slow for a morning rush. I made a simple order and it came to a higher than expected price. I was found out this was because she doubled my order. I told them but was then put in that strange situation where i know they throw it away. So I just kept in this situation they should automatically refund. I'm very saddened by this experience. I came from out of town and look forward to going to Tim Horton's every time I come to town. We decided to try this location because the one on 8 mile closed. When giving our order at the drive thru, the worker was very rude. Her attitude was not pleasant at all. When I got to the window, she was still very rude, then the manager came to the window and I asked for their names and explained that she was kinda rude but it didn't seem to phase any of them. We left and I realized that they forgot a donut so I had to turn around and go inside. When I went inside, I explained to the manager again how they are not pleasant and how I feel that negative energy. She said "oh it's hot in here". So the reason for their attitude is that it's hot. This was my first time at this Tim Hortons and there wasn't anything special about it. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese on English muffin and a hash brown. The sandwich was decent (the sausage kinda tasted off) but the hash brown was slightly hard and tasted as if it has been sitting out for a few hours. Food wise I would give it a 3 but the service was quick and the staff was friendly so I'm bumping it up to a 4. Just left from there. Stopped in on my way to visit my sister-in-law at St Joseph Hospital. Figured I'd grab everyone some java. Asked if I could get a Take 12 and the woman said usually you have to call in ahead for those. I said ok...well how long would one take? And she said about an hour. This location has to be one of Tim Horton's worst, as it relates to customer service. The manager, Sandy, couldn't or should I say wouldn't look me in the eye as I was trying to explain a situation to her. Maybe it's me, not her. Maybe that's what managers are suppose to do, make you feel like you don't matter and that the employees are friends and customers come last. Maybe, just maybe because she works with them everyday and has to face them, they matter more. If this is the case, it's a sad one. Let me start by saying I was taken aback when I saw the plethora of poor reviews for this location. When I first walked into this Tim Horton's , the line was long. I was met with immediate apologies and very fast service. I can't say much about the quality because all I got was a black coffee, but that was delicious as usual from the brand. It seemed as if there was something in the air making everyone inside happy, almost a Utopian type vibe if you will. I can't say enough good things about this place. Today I came in an ordered a #7 which is supposed to be a English muffin, egg white, swiss cheese, turkey sausage and spinach. I got a regular egg and I don't even know if it was pork or or turkey sausage, and cheddar cheese. I don't and can't have pork for dietary reasons and it makes me sick when I have too much pork.
