Rarely do I eat at Tim Hortons and I know why! Sure it's a ubiquitous experience in Canada however I believe their menu is substandard. They sure are trying with the times to change and modernize and I give them credit rather than McDonald's which is struggling immensely selling the same burgers and fries that they have for 50+ years.
Based on limited selection in a small town I had stopped in here as you pretty much have an idea of where you are going to get from ordering at Timmy hoho's.
I had selected the spicy chicken BLT sandwich and the Thai soup that looked to be the new special soup. The chicken soup was not very good way too soapy tasting. I only ate half of it. The chicken sandwich was a bit of a surprise as it was pretty spicy. I do like spice. Rarely when I order something spicy do I find they get it right. Spice is very relative as it varies from one person to another.
This location is fresh and clean and of no issue. Lots of regulars hanging around giving us (out of towers) some interesting looks. Funny but understanding how it is kind of a neighbourhood hang out for many locals. read more
