Hey! It's an airport location so what do you expect? I did not expect a gourmet shop nor did I expect reasonable prices. But I found it here by ordering a turkey club sandwich meal and an iced Americano with a plain croissant at less than $15 Canadian - very nice! The sandwich came nicely, warmed up and toasted, which I really appreciated the croissant although cold was nice and tender as it needed to be - and, fittingly for a coffee shop the iced Americano I ordered was perfection itself. Would I come here again? I probably will because I will be back again for business, but should you come here? Why not? Most airport restaurants are overpriced, but I can honestly say this one was not. I dare say you would enjoy the food, the prices, and the fact that it's simple comfort food. Enjoy! read more

Couldn't leave Canada without going to Tim Hortons at least once, thankfully they have them at the airport! The espresso machine was broken but I got an iced coffee with vanilla and a pack of timbits, shared with my husband. Coffee had a bit too much creamer but wasn't bad. I had a few hours to kill while waiting for my connecting flight at the Vancouver. This Time Hortons is only accessible in the US terminals after security. I believe this is currently the only location in the airport. I experienced short lines and quick service. I ordered an iced coffee with cream and sugar and it was the perfect pick me up to keep my mind awake for a couple hours after a long haul flight. Their regular coffee is also really good, non-acidic, and very smooth. The timbits on the other hand fell short. The texture of the dough felt more stale than fluffy. The glaze on each of the flavors was also much more on the crusty side. If you like sweets with your coffee, these are not bad. Overall, I'm glad I got to try it! read more

A solid place to purchase a quick bite to eat. I ordered a pack of 10 honey timbits and a medium coffee for ~$5. There was no line when I ordered, so I was in and out within five minutes, but less than twenty minutes later, the queue reached 30+ people quickly. For the ancillary location by Gate 75, the storefront is located by bathrooms and a seating area. My only caveat is that there is a lack of outlets for charging, but that might be the case to deter people from hogging the eating the area. read more

This Tim's is conveniently located near Gate 85 (USA departures past Security). It had already been a long travel day, and all I wanted was something quick, relatively cheap, and sit at the gate or at a table friendly. I ordered one of their "deli" sandwiches and a flavored sparkling quenchers. The service was the usual modestly friendly assembly line experience, with a wait a little longer than expected. I had a quick lunch here while I was waiting for my flight at gate 74 and it's exactly what you would expect from this type of establishment. Lines move quite slow and there is only two seat available if you want to eat your meal there. I had the crispy chicken sandwich, wedges, and a small blackberry yuzu drink. The drink was pretty refreshing, and the wedges were good and came in a small cup. The chicken sandwich was smaller than I expected, but I didnt want to be full for my flight anyways. To be quite honest it tasted like 2 chicken nuggets, lettuce, a tangy sauce, all placed between a square roll. If I was to leave a recommendation, I would say try the bang mi place Nextdoor. read more

There where not many options for quick bites in our terminal. The line here was increadibly long and very slow. There were two cashiers. All we wanted were Timbits. There wasn't a lot of variety (chocolate, honey). We purchased a box of 20 timbits, chocolate, but the cashier was so slow, another person behind us told the other cashier she wanted the rest of the chocolate Timbits. So there we were, standing in front of a case with an empty tray of timbits that were almost ours. The cashier just looked at it, and gave us the honey. No apologies, no refund, no checking to see when there'd be more. For a place that prides itself on its all day breakfast, for them to not have an item that early in the day and not provide suitable replacement was really disappointing. read more

Not many dining options left in the airport since most closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I got the Sausage Bacon & Egg biscuit, which was a pretty pathetic little sandwich. I would choose McDonalds breakfast over this one any day. The biscuit was so dry I ended up tossing the bottom one because it was so flavorless and made my mouth too dry to continue eating. I got a couple of Tim Bits to take home. The Honey Dip one just tasted like a ball of bread with a honey glaze, and the chocolate one didn't taste like much. The best was by far the Old Fashion Tim Bit. I did really like the French Crueller though - not super sweet and very moist inside. read more

I decided to head to Tim Horton for a quick breakfast sausage,egg and cheese English muffin. It was ok. Tasted like a sandwich from Tim. It was cheap and definitely did fill me up. The line is a hit and miss and it really depends on the timing. If there are more people in the waiting area or more planes flying out during a specific time than you would expect a long line up. I appreciate most everything Canadian, but I'm puzzle by the Tim Hortons popularity. An interesting variety of foods and drinks. I did not try any donuts, but I did try some drinks and sandwiches. At least they weren't too expensive... that's the best I can say. I ate at one of the (dozen?) locations just at the Vancouver airport. The flavored sparkling drinks were on par with lame corn syrup flavored drinks, but very slightly carbonated. Certainly not worth paying more than $1 for. Tim Horton's thankfully remains open in YVR while many other eateries are closed due to the Covid19 pandemic. There are social distanced spots for the line and hand sanitizers at the cash register. And cashless payment is available. The line moved quickly and there was some seating available, which all patrons respected social distancing. I ordered a coffee and a few donut holes, they were warm and fresh. Getting my order was immediate upon payment. It was a nice snack during my layover.
