I travel the QE2 twice a month, have been for a few years. I stop at Gasoline Alley every time for a coffee. The bathrooms are disgusting and they are constantly the same every time. This is not acceptable, especially for a restaurant. I was in there again tonight, and I turned around and walked out and went to another location. this is obviously a problem and has been for a while, I see other people have given similar reviews about. I'm also going to report this to Tims headquarters. read more

Saturday December 1 weather was bad, so I decided to get something quick and hit the icy road conditions south towards Calgary. Can't go wrong with Tim Horton's, so I thought. What a mistake and this Tim Horton's location wasn't busy!!! Ordered a sandwich, potato wedges and a tea. The nice friendly young man gave me a nice hot tea ( that's the 2 star) the thing is by the time my sandwich was ready my tea was COLD and to boot they had NO potato wedges. After waiting so long for a sandwich she tells me the wedges will be another 5 minutes. I said I can no longer wait so she gave me 2 ( can't even say it was lukewarm) hash browns. I ended up throwing in the garbage. I'm not sure if I was Hangry and I needed a snickers, because I'm not myself when I'm hungry. Went to Tim's at gasoline alley one of the staff was doing a great job she was the only one on the store front there was a long line but she was going and going with a smile if it was me I would have been stressed I was actually feeling it standing in the line I asked her name she said Indi and I asked her how can you be so calm and still smile she said it's my job and I want my customers feel welcome good job Tim's for employing people like her I hope she stays with you'll for a long time as it would be a loss I hope you acknolwege her hard work read more

I was in the drive Thru waiting for a long time.When I ordered my bagel I got it straight away so I thought they were made up for themselves for taking a long time in the drive thru but no.When I took out my bagel the was just a big chunk of butter on half of the bagel while the other half was completely dry. read more

My problem is that they can't get my tea right. Last week got a coffee 3 times. I didn't check to make sure because they rush to serve you. More people that go threw faster. they think better customer service. today I make the time to check and it was a coffee. So they change it for me. And no sorry about that. This is the slowest service, they have everyone working on the drive though and are basically ignoring the people waiting in line in the store. This store could also give their washrooms some attention during these times it should've cleaned and not having dirty glass and floors. read more

Stopped in recently on route to Calgary. It was reasonably early on a weekday, so it was fairly quiet still. Frankly...it was in keeping with any other Tim's. It is indeed a high traffic location in "Gasoline Ally", so I can imagine if gets pretty busy. They did put too much sauce on my Grillwd Sausage wrap...but it was still edible enough. No doubt, as is often true with such operations...service and quality fluctuate over time. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to return. read more

Consistently slow service whether you're in the drive through or inside. If you're travelling on highway 2 you're better off driving into red deer and going to the other Tim's as it would be faster. Bathrooms are consistently below par and you're better off visiting an outhouse. read more

While waiting for our order I notice a young male worker drinking a large coffee. Then he filled his coffee using the same to go cup and added the condiments. He then used the same stir spoon that is used to stir customers drinks to stir his. Gross and unsanitary, I told the girl who was making our coffee to no stir them and informed her what that employee did. This Tim Horton's is busier than most, it being located in such a high traffic area. The line up for the restroom can be really long. Staff working here are very efficient, however. Otherwise it is a standard Tim Horton's location with all of the usual amenities of one such location. read more

Canada is mad for Tim Horton's- it is their Dunkin Donuts and is a very similar layout. Instead of munchkins they have delicious "Tim Bits". My favorite being the honey glazed. Yummers. They sell their coffee in cans as well as their hot chocolate. Every time we go we bring back at least 4 or 5 cans for our Timmy Horton's lovin' friends. Make mine a double, double. read more

I tried the red velvet cookie at a different location the day before and so I was craving the red velvet goodness again. I go to the drive-through and ask them if they have any of the red velvet cookies left. I get a resounding "yes" and so I proceeded to order 2 of them plus a medium black coffee. When reaching the window I get asked what my order was by a different lady(I guess they had screwed up the order of the cars in the 2 lane drive through). Anyways, I tell her I ordered 2 red velvet cookies. The look on her face told me there would be a problem. She said they didn't have any red velvet cookies left. So, even after I confirmed it was still wrong. Terrible employee in my opinion. I decided to just get a different kind of cookie but wasn't offered anything for the mistake. If you're passing by Red Deer and need a coffee break go to the Doughnut Mill instead. There they hire people who can actually follow instructions. read more

This Tim Hortons is very clean on the inside. It's in a high traffic area, so they do a good job on cleanliness. The service was pretty slow for food; there was a big lineup when we first walked in, and we waited about 10 minutes in line and then another 10 minutes for our food order (soup and chilli). Drinks came right away. I was going to grab a tea biscuit for the road, but after waiting for almost the same amount of time in a line that was not moving, I gave up and we left. Speed of food prep needs some love, but keep up the tidy restaurant! read more

Stopped in here on the way home from Banff to Fort McMurray, with my brothers. We each got a coffee and a sandwich. The sandwiches were slapped together (meat in a pile, nothing evenly spread, bun slapped on). They also didn't put sugar in any of the coffees. Too late to turn around once we noticed. The display area where muffins and donughts are kept was crawling with flies. When I mentioned to staff that there were flies crawling on food she said I know we can't do anything about it. There were flies crawling on their sign showing prices. Leads me to believe that every single piece of food has had flies crawling on it. I'm beyond disgusted and with a ton of other locations on that strip to get coffee, muffins, donuts, sandwiches etc I will never go back and suggest that every future customer be prepared to eat food touched by bugs. Bought 4 Double Doubles before Christmas not one of them was right. Won't go back to that Tim Hortons

I love Tim Horton's Bagel Belts. So on our way from Edmonton to Calgary, my fiancé, our dog and myself decided to stop at Tim Horton's on Gasoline Alley for breakfast. To my surprise, they do not allow dogs on their grass. My large 90lb chocolate lab has just been sitting in the back of our SUV for 1 1/2 hours and you expect me to not let my dog out to pee. Instead of signs saying NO DOGS, instead put up, PICK UP YOUR DOGS POOP! I couldn't believe it. We decided not to stop at Tim Horton's but rather the A&W a little further down. They didn't care that we had our dog walking (on a leash) up and down their parking lot, to let him get some stretches in, and we cleaned up after him too. There were many garbage cans there allowing for disposal, not like Tim Horton's where I could only see one. I thought it was ridiculous you don't allow dogs on your property. So, if you are travelling through Red Deer with your dog (southbound at least) don't stop a Tim Horton's for pee break. You won't be allowed to let your dog out. read more
