Who doesn't crave a cold ice cream after a hot day at the water?! Their variety of ice creams is fantastic, even seeing lactose free options. Everything from Maple Walnut, sherbets, bubblegum and pistachio. This trip we ordered a baby size ($3.60) chocolate mint (classic and good) and rocket fuel (similar to bubblegum in taste but maybe a bit more grape tasting); they were just the right size for the kids. And we also ordered single scoops ($5.15) of the wild spicy chocolate and churro (this was my top fav that we ordered, it was the hardest/coldest one so it didn't melt quite as fast either, but the Flavor was super unique and I love that spicy hit you get) and the pineapple sherbet( very refreshing and light, perfect for a hot summer day). The ice cream was really soft and seemed to melt extremely fast, wishing it was a bit colder/harder. But after knowing that I recommend you find a seat and eat it right after you order it. Service was fast, we didn't have to wait long to order and the staff were good about double checking flavor choices. Handing us each cone as they scooped it. These places also sell a variety of floating devices for some good lake time and Sylvan Lake memorabilia. Parking in Sylvan Lake is all pretty much payment required unless you park a few blocks away.

We always always get Taro with bobas, but a similar option but more luxurious is the Ube Deluxe. Recently we had the Mango Matcha and I think this might be my new favourite. I also remember really enjoying the Tiramisu with coffee jellies- it was sweet but had such a nice light coffee flavour. The Butterfly series is super refreshing and is so pretty when you get a trifecta of colors. We also have had the Yokult series but found it a bit over the top sweet. No public bathrooms noted. I ordered the Mango Boba Milk. It was way more creamy/yogurt like than I expected. Added popping jellies and mango jellies and they were great. Good flavor considering I am not a huge fan of yogurt. Very refreshing. Boyfriend got the pain coffee with tapioca. Didn't know you could get plain coffee but that's exactly what it tasted like - a latte with pearls. He was happy as it wasn't too sweet and gave him a nice caffeine kick. Price is very reasonable. Favorite bubble tea in Red Deer for sure! Can't wait to come back and try some more flavors.

It was very inviting and a low stress low volume escape from the cold online most of the loud pubs and bars. I'm sure in the summer it's a great escape from the heat! Sometimes bubble tea places are slammed but when we arrived it wasn't too busy, but the longer we stayed the more people arrived! Not much for seating, definitely a pick up and take out kind of place. I like being able to pick regular or a jumbo size, plus options with amounts of sugar/sweetener and ice amounts! They had some seats still and a fun photo op spot. BUT absolutely no public washrooms! What we tried: New Red mango coconut Pearl coolers - amazing! With fresh mango this one was my absolute fav for flavor Yamtaro mochi milk tea - really interesting, with a classic milk tea kind of flavor. Fun to try different mochi/pearls. Kyoto Matcha cheesecake - rich and thick. Had a nice matcha flavor as well

I do appreciate that they are open later however (10pm on weekdays, 11pm on weekends, 9pm on Sunday) for those late-night boba cravings! Their interior is very inviting but it is a smaller space with a few tables and a counter to sit down at. The back of the store has a backdrop, ring light, and phone holder for those looking for a mini photo session while waiting for your drinks! The simple reason that they are not my top pick is because I've had a fair share of not-so-great flavours while exploring their selection. Many of their blends that use strawberry tastes like the artificial powder stuff vs. real fruit, and leaves a gritty mouthfeel. I've tried many of their seasonal featured drinks as well and have been left feeling disappointed more than impressed. On the other hand, their milk brulee and cheesecake series have been really good! I also enjoy their fresh avocado latte. Their pearls have also been inconsistent, sometimes being overcooked and other times, too chewy. We've also visited when they ran out of their tapioca but we were still charged full price for our drinks. This is why I think they are deserving of a 3/5 as they have a mix of great, mediocre, and not so great drinks.

Wood damage near the window fronting the main parking lot. We couldn't ask to move because we took the last seats for the evening. I killed three bugs by grabbing paper towels from the women's washroom at different times because they were coming up from the wood. Then my teenager informed me not to kill the last bug because he sees ants crawling up and will carry the last bug to their home. I couldn't see ants on my side. He was right. Carpenter ants carried the fourth dead bug back inside the damaged wood. I asked my husband and son if they wanted to leave the restaurant and we could eat elsewhere. They said no I think we'll be OK. Easy to pop into from the highway 2 and since it's part of a strip mall area there was plenty of parking nearby. We were seated right away, the space is quite large and bright. Very sunny vibes. I right away was eager to try their fancy coffee - in particular the caramel tiramisu latte (topped with caramel drizzle, whipped cream and cinnamon sprinkle ($5.99) but this drink was a bit of a let down in my opinion. Over the top sweet and since it's served in a glass cup it doesn't retain its heat, gets cold fast, and is actually kind of small. I get that it's a latte but the sheer sweetness makes me wonder is there any coffee in it? Okay I've given you the worst part the food was not disappointing! We ordered the Hot honey chicken Benedict ($19.99) and this was divine! The spicy and sweet combo was excellent and I loved that it got on the Hashbrowns too! Good serving size and eggs were perfect. We also had to order some pancakes and asked for the most popular, which was the signature stacks Cinnabon cakes ($15.99). These were huge and terribly delightful! Fluffy and the sauce combination of cream cheese icing and whip and icing sugar- wowzers! Very good and a reason it's a popular choice.
