That being said the prices are probably the lowest you are going to find for a restaurant in Sylvan and the atmosphere was pleasant. And to be fair, Vietnamese is my absolute favourite food in the world. There wa nothing wrong per se with the food here, but everything was missing that extra something that makes you want that dish again - hubs noted a lack of depth of flavour in the pho. The salad roll was probably the best item we had here. The locals next to us recommended we try the house special chow mein or fried rice next time and the chicken bun. I had ordered the beef bun with spring rolls and did not care for the texture of the beef. If reviewing on the food alone I would give 3 stars but the sweet owners, adorable cat decor, and favorable prices bump this spot up to 4 stars.
