This trip we ordered a baby size ($3.60) chocolate mint (classic and good) and rocket fuel (similar to bubblegum in taste but maybe a bit more grape tasting); they were just the right size for the kids. And we also ordered single scoops ($5.15) of the wild spicy chocolate and churro (this was my top fav that we ordered, it was the hardest/coldest one so it didn't melt quite as fast either, but the Flavor was super unique and I love that spicy hit you get) and the pineapple sherbet( very refreshing and light, perfect for a hot summer day). The ice cream was really soft and seemed to melt extremely fast, wishing it was a bit colder/harder. But after knowing that I recommend you find a seat and eat it right after you order it. That's how I first got to experience Ona & that was back when there was a furniture & a homewares store including the cafe within it. Things have changed since then (now only cafe & cafe space is significantly larger with raised patio in back) but still fabulous food & great coffee. Plus the bonus is the neat extras one can also purchase. Lots of lower height tables & it seems to be quite popular with larger groups & families (observation from my last visit a few weeks ago). Parking is on the streets around but I have yet to walk further than a block. Bathrooms are generous in size & I greatly appreciate how well kept they are considering how popular this place always seems. Decently lit with lots of natural light. A bit more on the louder side now that it is only a cafe but still a good spot to cool off & rest the arms from driving. I've tried treats & sandwiches here - both are of decent sizes & what the price of this are these days, I would say at a reasonable price. Coffee is always tasty here & I quite enjoyed the iced option this last stop being that the outside temp was over 25C. Staff are always friendly here & great at answering questions. To make matters worse, multiple customers who arrived long after me received their orders first. I was on a tight schedule to pick up my kids and almost had to leave empty-handed, only to find out from a staff member that they had just barely started preparing my drinks. When I finally received them, one of the drinks was prepared completely wrong and did not taste good. Pre-ordering should save time, but this delay made me late. I hope management can look into their order queueing and staff training.

The atmoshere when you stroll into a Starbucks is very casual and comfortable. The fact that they have free WiFi even lures critters like me out of my office to do some bussiness where real people exist. The staff are friendly at pretty much every Starbucks I have been to, but why wouldn't they be, they get to serve great people such as myself every day. They are all very skilled and understand almost any coffee afictionados desire. You don't just want an average cup of joe. If you really want to mess with them go in and ask for a double double....you might even make them scowl at you. But almost always you will feel better about going in or driving thru, they are top notch java makers for sure!
