I love their coffee with an espresso shot. My friend likes their lattes. The problem I have, is that more often than not. The machine there to make espresso is broken. This Tim's is across the street from Marietta College and was an easy stop on the way back to the hotel from I-77. I certainly "Brake for Tim Horton's" and am pleased to see this chain on this side of the 49th Parallel. I made 2 stops here during my recent trip to Marietta, once for a late nigh snack and today's early morning coffee and bagel run. The US version of Timmy's has the same look and feel as its Canadian cousins and right down to the ceramic coffee cups and soup bowls. The prices are in line and the service was prompt and friendly The coffee was what I expected, but unfortunately the evening donut was on the stale side. No maple crunch either. The morning bagel was much better. And on this very cold morning, that and the coffee certainly were the perfect combination. No line up either. read more

This is an AMAZING place ...ONLY if you like waiting forever on your food and like for it to be completely wrong. On a fair note the donuts were good. It seems like the staff want to do a good job but unfortunately just don't know how . I have visited many Tim Hortons throughout the country and by far this is the worst. This place is absolutely terrible. I have tried to go maybe a total of 6 times and everytime they are closed. Their hours say 5am online, 6am on the door. Regardless I would knock on their door like hey let me in! Abs they're like sorry drive through only. I tried to walk in today at 11 pm and of course they're closed as well. This place is the most disorganized Tim Horton ever. the employees are not friendly. They run around like they don't know what they are doing. The cashier who took our order looked so lost and not trained properly. The pastries were not stocked up. With only 4 ppl in front of us it took then almost 20 min to fill our order only 3 donuts and 3 coffees. There was a change in management about 1 year ago and now this new management I feel is running this store like they have never ran a restaurant before. Residents of the Mid-Ohio Valley have most likely offered patronage to a Tim Hortons in Parkersburg prior to this location opening, but this is another welcome addition to Marietta. My wife and I stopped by for breakfast during a visit back in July and I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. They did a really good job on the renovation and the parking lot offered a lot of shady options. I think my wife had the garden cream cheese on an everything bagel and I had a sausage, egg and cheese on whole grain. We also tried about a half-dozen different doughnut holes, which were awesome. I had coffee and my wife had an iced coffee drink. Overall it was a very enjoyable breakfast, and at a good price. read more

Went through the drive thru with my daughter today. Sat at the order screen for 10 minutes with no word spoken to us. A truck was trying to get by me to leave, so I said "hello?". Still no response and then the entire lit up menu went white. So I told my daughter, maybe they closed. So we drive up to the actual window and I see three people working inside. They see me as well and continue to ignore me. Another car pulls up to order at the screen behind me. A guy walks over to the register and takes his order continuing to ignore me sitting there looking at him. He goes to get the other order. He finally comes to the window and dramatically throws it open and says, "can I help you?" I said, yes actually I'm trying to place an order and proceed to tell.him how I waited and the screen went white. So he rolls his eyes and rudely says "what do you want". So I asked his name and he throws his hands in the air, curses under his breath and goes to walk away. He comes right back and says again even more rudely, "what do you want" I asked his name again and he says "its TJ now what do you want?" I said "why the attitude??! No one took my order and I thought you had closed or your screen broke so why are you being so rude?" He then says "are you going to tell me what you want or not?!" So I said "what I want is for you to not be a complete asshole and I will be reporting you TJ" and he says "whatever". Tim Hortons in Marietta is horrible. I used to go there several times a week but their employees and food and service have gone so downhill this will be my last visit with them. You can't report on Tim Hortons official website any longer as they obviously don't care. Sad. read more

Love Tim Hortons, hated this location. The lady in front of me ordered soup and a drink. She had to wait 5 minutes for both of these items even though there were 7 employees behind the counter and one person in the drive thru. Location was empty inside. Once the lady in front of me stepped to the side after ordering, I waited 5 more minutes to be approached to place my order. Multiple employees made eye contact with me during this time but continued to lean against the counters and chit chat (manager included). After I was finally approached, the employee's first statement to me was about how rude the lady in front of me was. Thank goodness I'm not local because I could not frequent this place. read more

This is the worst coffee shop ever. If you get a latte you get no coffee in it. Or just black coffee with sugar. Consent mess up and missing parts to your drink. I do not recommend going here. The first time i went to this location i ordered approx. 3 breakfast sandwiches and a box of donuts, thru the drive thru. i was told to pull up to the front because my order was taking a while. After waiting over 20 mins in my car i made the decision to go inside and demand answers. THEY FORGOT MY ORDER! It took another ten minutes waiting inside to receive my food. I swore i would never go again. Two months pass and i receive coupons in the mail. I decide to try again, surely they deserve another shot. This time i walked inside and was greeted by two teenage girls who were more concerned with gossiping than taking my order. They were very short with me and rolled their eyes numerous times when i asked for specific donuts, rushing me through the process even though there was nobody behind me. They had better things to do than serve customers. I used said coupons and and then looked at my receipt. there was an advertisement on the door offering TWO sausage,egg, cheese wraps for THREE dollars. They charged me individually for both. for an extra total of 58 cents. I just wanted to be charged correctly, it was the principal of the matter. when i came back to the two girls to dispute the charge they told me i had to ASK for the deal. and they were extremely rude. telling me it was my fault and they were just doing their job, she then retrieves her manager and the manager solves the issue with a small amount of redeeming grace. This restaurant is poorly run, staffed and managed. Stopped in for lunch today and ordered a steak melt panini with chipotle sauce. My wife hot the ham and cheese melt panini. The lady behind the counter told us they were out of white bread and only had wheat. We waited for our sandwiches to be made for maybe 3 or 4 minutes. We got our sandwiches and neither were cut in two, no problem. The game and cheese panini had lettuce and tomato and some sort of dressing. It was a really nice looking sandwich. Mine on the other hand was just plain looking. Again, no problem. We noticed the cheese on both was not melted like you would think so on a melt. I started eating mine and realized there was nothing but meat, cheese and a few tiny red onion pieces. No chipotle sauce. I took my sandwich back and advised them of the mistake. The on girl took my plate and told the woman making the sandwiches that mine was missing chipotle. She shrugged her shoulders and said that she didn't make it. I was asked if I just wanted sauce pit on it because they were out of swiss cheese. A sandwich shop out of bread and cheese at lunch time? I finally got my sandwich back and finished it. This Tim Horton's franchise was purchased a few years ago by a Columbus-based investor. Since this time, the management of the restaurant has continued to wane. Some members of the staff are rather dramatic and find ways to pull the customer into the drama. The tables are dirty more often than not. They are often out of essential items such as eggs. They are no longer serving items on plates unless you ask. They have some type of system where they scream communications back to the kitchen such as when a particular food item is running low. It tends to abruptly scare patrons and provides a seeming atmosphere of chaos. There are many morning patron regulars that meet to eat and socialize who have begun to search for new meeting spaces. Most restaurants go through a period of flux with new management, for this location, the period has gone on for two years. Consider avoiding this Tim Horton's location. read more

Came in for a girls day out with the family around lunch time. We ordered 4 sandwiches and 3 drinks. took 10 mins to get the order, no big deal as we were just out. We sat down and had a great time talking and playing with the baby. Until I needed a napkin. I went up to ask for one and was ignored by no less then 4 employees, I make eye contact with all of them and they all ignored me. I flagged one down and asked for a napkin, she just stood there and looked at me. I know my voice was not loud as I have laryngitis, so I waited again. As I waited I got to watch the sandwich maker get herself a cup of coffee and drink it while making sandwiches. Still waiting, finally the front line cashier comes up from the back, I asked for a napkin. She threw her hands up in the air and yelled (raised her voice) I can't help it if I'm back there working. She was so loud the whole lobby full of people turned and looked. I just wanted a napkin not drama. She stomped over and threw 4 napkins on the counter by the register. If she would have given me more than 3 napkins to begin with I would have not been up there in the first place. I have never been treated so rudely, since I and my family stopped in a year ago, but then we put the bad service down as she was having a bad day. Well I gave them another chance. Never again I will continue to go to Stoked, and if we want lunch I will go to Shoneys or any where else. Never there again. read more

If I could give this Tim Horton's a 0 rating I would. Tim Horton's is one of my FAVORITE coffee spots, as a matter of fact, I would always choose it over a high priced "gourmet" shop. HOWEVER, today I was thoroughly disappointed. The sassy staff member working the counter acted like she was hopped up on some sort of drug, unable to stand still and jittery. She was terribly rude to EVERYONE in front of me AND her fellow staff members. I believe if staff members have beef, they should take care of it in the back...not in front of customers. When it was my turn, I asked for two coffees, an extra large and a medium, both black, with half a dozen donuts and paid the lady. She starts rolling her eyes and asking me which donuts I would like. Half of the them were gone and the other half were priced extra; very slim pickings. Then I continued on to pick up my drinks. Neither of them were the right size and I had to ARGUE with her to show her what I ordered on the receipt. Again, eye rolls to the nines. I then get to my destination, close to a 30 minute drive, and start thinking about how much I paid for my items. She charged me for a DOZEN donuts. So I paid for 6 donuts that I didn't even get! Shame on me this time for not double checking, but shame on them for losing a customer. I will NOT be back. read more
