The bake goods are FRESH FRESH everyday, this is a little shop and I wish they were bigger and closer to Fairway Road. Actually they could open another location, that is an idea. The Dobos cake is fantastic, and the Romanian Kids Cake ( Translation). They have some Romanian and Hungarian prepackaged spices, noodles, etc. I am fine with the price they charge, I just wish they also had bread and were closer to me! LOL All the best to Crema, keep it coming and to the readers: enjoy anything you get there!

Pretty much most of the desserts were over so we just got a big coconut ring and latte/mocha. Coconut ring was fresh and slightly crispy - perfectly sweet and coconut flavors. Latte and mocha was very good as well. Mocha tasted awesome since I believe it had been months I tried my favorite drink at a local cafe. They have now opened the outdoor seating. Highly recommend!! It was my first time and very frankly I struggled ordering because none of the items had pricing so I felt I was disturbing someone to ask pricing of cannoli and tarts...would prefer pricing listed. Not even the website has pricing. Parking is pretty busy, it seems to be busy in waves and there are two entrances into the location. So drive in carefully.

I ordered 1/2 a dozen cupcakes, and a strawberry lemonade. The cupcakes were priced reasonably at just $2.50 each with a deal for buying a dozen or 1/2 dozen. And I'm happy I decided to stop by, first off the service was great, the sales lady was kind, attentive, and great at answering questions. As for the taste of the strawberry lemonade it was good, cold and refreshing but, it was much too sweet for me, so I handed it off to my boyfriend who didn't mind the sweetness and actually enjoyed it. The cupcake flavours I ordered were the blueberry lemon(with fresh blueberries in cake), vanilla with sprinkles, and strawberry cupcakes(with strawberry pieces in cake). The cupcakes were delicious some of the best I've ever had!! The buttercream frosting was thick flavourful, and just enough was on the cupcakes to perfectly complement the moist and not too sweet cake portion of the cupcake. Needless to say this is definitely my new go to spot for cupcakes in Waterloo, and I will be back to try some other baked goods too, such as a scone or muffin next time, as they looked great too.

Anywhoo, I called and ordered and they said no problem they could accomodate ppl with disabilities (which is awesome. Moral of this little story is the cupcakes from this place taste great whether they are smushed or not, but they are super pretty when they are not smushed. I 100% recommend this bakery.

Not only was The Cake Box able to bake his favorite flavor of cupcake (chocolate) , they delivered them for a minimal fee and added a birthday card.
