Well actually, the employee on the phone was extremely unhelpful to begin with and when I requested I talk to the manager they left me waiting for almost 20 minutes on hold. When I did speak with the manager, I explained the situation I believed she understood and offered me a refund. I was clear we were going to rebook the party for the summer time and I'd be sure to call on them again for the order. In the end, I never got the refund. I've emailed the bakery numerous times with no response. I was even warned it was pointless to email customer service as I would not get a response. What honest business does that? So we are going ahead with the party and I highly recommend you go with the professionals at Pusateri's or Eataly. It's been a much better more positive and honest experience from the get go.
