I really enjoy that they post their daily selections on Facebook and their website. They had a large selection of sweet treats and breads available even near closing time. Food: I ordered a German chocolate cupcake, an eggnog tiny cake, and a pink macaroon. The eggnog tiny cake's frosting was quite sweet but the cake itself balanced it out very nicely, leaving you with a true eggnog flavor. The pink macaroon was not shaped like a classic macaroon but was rectangular and had three distinct layers. On top was a very sweet, pink frosting, then the coconut mixture, and finally a hard crust on bottom. Unfortunately, I did not like it at all. Lastly, I had the German chocolate cupcake. The cake was very moist and the classic German chocolate frosting was tasty. Service/Location: The service was great as I was welcomed when first arriving and afterwards there was always someone ready to assist me. Since the bakery is downtown there is ample parking and other shops to explore but the area can get busy. Price: I paid $4.00 for the German chocolate cupcake, $3.75 for the eggnog tiny cake (though in the display the price was listed at $4.00), and $2.35 for the pink macaroon. Overall, a decent value. Conclusion: Based on these three desserts, I was not overly impressed. Perhaps I would enjoy some of their other desserts more, therefore in the future I may return to see what else they have to offer.

I think the majority of their business is fulfilling custom cake orders. At the time of my visit, they had a few different types of canollis that were priced around $2.50-3. So quite average in pricing. It was good. Tiramisu - $2.50 for a smallish slice. Although fresh, they used whipped cream. So that was a bit of a disappointment. Sadly, not many bakeries use the real deal anymore. I prefer the tiramisu at Sweet Paradise. Just ok for me.

There are other Bakeries along this strip but this is now my bakery of choice. Added Bonus. It's EXTREMELY Clean and Roomy. Prices are in line with Quality. They take Credit Cards and Debit. We've had weekend lunch there and found their Salad and Sandwiches to be at a good price point and yes very yummy. We've yet to try their Gelato. Tonight we'll try their Pizza for the 1st time. It will have to beat Shorty's Pizza so they have a pretty high bar to reach FingersCrossed for the experience. Service is the only drawback. Lackadaisical and uniformed for the most part. Still... I can't remember the first time I came here or where the recommendation came from in my social circle, but I absolutely love everything about the hearty hooligan. the staff are so great, welcoming and inviting in all of the years I've been coming here. each one of them will absolutely go out of their way to make recommendations, talk about specials, or just be social. the food is the most important part for me, I've been going through some wicked health issues which have lead me down the path to rely on more veggie and vegan options for my food intake. thankfully after trying about 50% of the items on the menu, my health issues have not reared its ugly head. If you didn't pick up on this from my glowing review, i will absolutely drive to this place when and around the Hamilton area, its that damn good on all levels with zero faults The pizza pockets are to die for, I grab a half dozen each time i come here because I do not live close to here at all/not in the area often my highest recommendation possible 5+++++/5

I also ordered the salted caramel one (I think). All the puffs were delicious. The cream inside is really good. Had good flavour and did not disappoint. Each puff was $5.
