The interior vibes are the same; open, spacious, and clean. However, the food and most importantly, the staff, no longer maintain the quality that made me a regular in the first place. Artisan used to have amazing coffee and excellent food, but the coffee is no longer very good. I think this is due to the staff. The food has significantly declined in quality. The hollandaise on their breakfast sandwich is now a broken, greasy mess. The "sourdough" is generic white bread. What's even worse than the food is the staff. In the last two years, the staff has degenerated to an incompetent , bedraggled mess. The staff has never had to wear a uniform, but perhaps it's time for them to institute one. In my last several visits, I've seen grossly oversized clothes that have the staff looking like they just rolled out of bed. Hair is unkempt, not brushed, loose, and hanging down past their shoulders. A recipe for getting hair in my food. Furthermore, the staff is no longer smiling or friendly and can't answer basic questions about the menu. They seem confused about where they are and the service they provide. On top of all this, they maintain their strict breakfast timeframe. Why they have decided to stick to antiquated time limits for the food that is always available in their kitchen is beyond me. The barest minimum of market research would show how popular breakfast sandwiches are all day. What once was a vibrant, friendly coffee shop with great food, good coffee, and pleasant employees now feels like a dressed up McDonalds.

The space also has a stage and lots of windows for natural light which I loved. The baristas were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the different drinks and what they offered, which was really nice. Unfortunately, I did not try any food, but their menu offers a wide range of breakfast and lunch options including sandwiches, soups, bakery and more. I reached for the cold brew and a friend got a lavander matcha lattee. The drinks were good, nothing out of this world but I was glad they offered additional cream, sugar, etc out in the open in case people decided they wanted to add anything to their drinks. They offer a wide range of drinks including some really interesting specialty drinks which all sound fun to try. Overall, Artisan Coffee is a cute, charming coffee shop that offers a wide variety of food and drink and I am sure you will find something you enjoy at this cafe. If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely consider coming back here to sit down rather than to-go.
