The matcha is standard, nothing spectacular neither was it the authentic ones you expect to get from Japanese, but the toffee is a nice touch. I also love the vibe here which I ended up chilling for a while than a grab and go to cool down from this heat before I proceed to explore the rest of Downtown. Free wifi available. My server was also super friendly and nice, both were super helpful in providing recommendations to visit in town. 10/10 would come back again for the good vibe, good service, good people, and good drinks! They had a whole collection of supplements that you can take as a shot or added to your drink. Seems interesting but I didn't try it out. Maybe next time.

I was happy I stumbled into it one afternoon when I was shopping. It's a fairly average place with the regular coffee and pastries you'd find at other places, but has more of a homemade feel to it. It has a nice atmosphere to it with interesting pictures of coffee-related designs painted on the walls. They have these nice chairs with coffee imprints on the back... just thought they were cute! The workers of the place were all so cute and friendly. They all had such welcoming faces and seemed excited when I came in. The place wasn't dead, so it couldn't have been due to boredom. They just seemed like good people who enjoy what they do. All the pastries and goodies looked so delicious and fresh. The prices aren't outrageous for the amount of food you would get. There was this yummy looking pie thing that I'm kicking myself for not trying. Next time, I guess. They also had an assortment of sandwiches for lunchtime to choose from. I really enjoyed sitting in this place enjoying a cup of coffee. It was a good afternoon... and I even got a second coffee to go!

My children have excelled in their musical pursuits. We have had the pleasure of working with two talented guitar instructors over the years, Kyle Tenove and Linden Conroy. Both have been extremely patient, knowledgeable, kind and clear communicators. They have created a supportive and positive learning experience. My kids are always excited to go to lessons. The lessons are always on time and the instructors have been quite flexible in providing online classes if required. The kids have been exposed to numerous styles and types of music. My son has recently learned finger picking style and jazz, and my daughter has been loving learning new chords and playing her favourite punk songs. They have grown in confidence and ability over the past several years and we could not be happier with the calibre and quality of the instructors, whom are professional working musicians. We love the ambiance of the café, staff are wonderful and welcoming. The food is always great and the cooler is packed full of soups and stews to take home. The treats are to die for. There is a great selection of locally made products as well. Couldn't be happier we found Cornerstone Music. We feel like we are part of a wonderful and supportive community there.

There is free Wi-Fi, and there appeared to be some outlets. I went on a weekday around noon, and there were still a good amount of seats available. The staff were kind and got my order (a matcha latte and a grilled chicken flatbread) out in a timely manner. Although the café itself had a cozy ambience, I would say that my order was rather lackluster. The matcha latte was really milky, and the matcha itself tasted watered down. And the grilled chicken flatbread tasted decent, but it was super crumbly and messy to eat, making it almost feel like a choking hazard with some bites. I would like to go back to try a different flavor of drink since the ambience was nice. But based on my first experience, it wasn't the greatest café Calgary had to offer.
