I think the project might have been too small for them, I am not sure. In any case, after a week, I still had no estimate. I emailed them and still have no response two weeks later. A section was previously patched with a piece of plywood before carpet was installed and Jon was able to remove the plywood and replace with new red oak boards. Jon was unhappy with how the old and new red oak floors looked after applying poly and hand sanded the patched board and stained the new wood to nearly perfectly match the old red oak.
