My husband and I love arcades. I always see this one in the mall but I've never had the time to stop by. I'm disappointed in myself for spending $20 today, but we now know for next time. Other than coming here for bumper cars, mini golf, or laser tag, this place isn't worth it. I can't exaggerate by saying most of the skill games were down along with a lot of other machines. Most games are ticket grab games with no skill required and they cost a lot for what they are. On top of that there is a carousel type claw game in the middle of the arcade, the stuffed animals in there are literally molded. We spent $50. It was awful. Several.of the games took out money but didn't work. One of them was a motorcycle game with vr goggles. We didn't realize the vr goggles were broke and swiped out card 7 times. It took the money..goggles never worked. I asked employees for help three times before we gave up and left. All they said was "oh ya it doesn't work but the motorcycle does. So for 45 minutes my son just sat in a motorcycle that tilts left to right a free degree until he was bored and we let a toddler have the rest of our rides. I took several photos and videos but there's no where to reach any one..their contact spot online only brings you to apply for a job. read more

I used to love tilt but honestly lately they shut down most of the machines you can actually make points on and a ton of games just take your money and you don't even get to play, my daughter is only 4 and loves the arcade but when you gotta go up to the front to get your money back from multiple machines taking your money it kinda blows, we leave before even using all of our money on the card hoping that next time more things will be fixed and never happens lol but even the worker was like "yea it's hard to get them to work". Tilt you need to get it together you charge a premium price I would hope for premium service (which we didnt get), ill never spend a dime here again. Took my son here for his bday and what a horrible time. Go to play lazer tag and the lil girl running it had the nerve to tell me " I don't pay her bills" and wouldn't let us start the game because I wouldn't stand one foot over against a wall. If I wasn't for my son's bday I would have went off on this girl. Half the machines were broke and go to buy a pop for 2.50 and it was flat. Asked for a water and they asked for 3.00. Tilt Studio is a pretty nifty place. It's like an upgraded Chuck E Cheese, but not as good as Dave and Busters. There are plenty of games, a few rides and even a go kart track and mini golf. There is a food area in the back that has pizza and snack type foods. All you do is go to a kiosk, select the amount of credits you want and pay to receive a playing card. Was fun to kill time for an hour. I would definitely return! read more

Pretty neat little arcade conveniently located at the Northpark Mall in Joplin, MO. It can be pretty expensive even though they do offer great deals during certain times of the year! Definitely check the site for promotions! In regards to the games, they have a big selection of new and old arcade games, miniature golf, as well as laser tag! Many of the older games have issues so don't count on playing them! Overall, can be a great time, but you must look for good deals!! read more

Only reason it is getting 2 stars is because my 5 year old had fun. About half of the games worked. Some partially worked halfway and quit mid way through the game. Other games were broken but still able to take your money of course. I strongly doubt I return. read more

I guess I'm just too old school for this card stuff. It just seems like an additional expense that's not necessary. My kids are also younger so one 25 cent horse ride will amuse them for hours! I have looked at doing a birthday party here but wow, it's expensive! For now I'm sticking with bouncy houses. read more

I love tilt. card carrying VIP member, matter of fact. I would give 5 stars except so many of the games seem to always be broken. The baby panda game used to give 1 ticket per credit, but recently gave me 1 ticket for 10 credits, and nothing per swipe when it used to be between 6-9, and it was the first time I'd been able to play in months since it usually is out of order. If you don't want to fix it, get rid of it for Petes sake. I am also suspicious that the claw machines have all been tweaked to prevent them from paying out as often as they used to. The staff has been almost completely turned over in the last 4-6 months so I'm hoping it's on the upside, because it is getting frustrating to go there. read more
