The facilities are top notch -- but for me, what really sets Matrix apart is the quality of tennis instructors. For years, I played tennis in pain. I'd voiced this concern to coaches at other clubs but none could offer a sustainable solution or precisely diagnose what was causing it. But, Matt at Matrix was able to break down my form and identify the issues. Needless to say, I had some deeply rooted bad habits that needed correction. Through roughly 10 lessons, Matt patiently gave me cues-- one at a time-- so I could focus on fixing that specific element. He listened to my feedback and phrased things in different ways until I understood his recommendations, and could implement them repeatedly. Now, for the first time, I'm playing pain-free, and I've substantially improved my consistency. Life-changing.

They have Outdoor grills and a covered area for birthday orator and get togethers. We have had a couple kids birthday parties there and it was great. They do have restrooms but like any outdoor park, they are not very clean. They also have a long walking path, a tennis court, and a large backstop for softball or baseball or just pitching practice. It's located right behind Toys-r-us but you have to take 4th street to get there so there is not much traffic. It's all FREE and pet friendly. Truly a great place to spend time with your family on a nice day.

The park has something for all ages, with multiple play areas and plenty of open space to hang out or run around. The only downsides are the volleyball court -- it definitely needs some refurbishing -- and the vending machines, which feel pretty outdated and could use an upgrade. Still, for casual pick-up games and outdoor fun, this park is tough to beat in the area.

There are always people walking dogs, and they have poop bags available and special locking trashcans. There are multiple parking lots on opposite sides of the park, and the whole area is surrounded by neighborhoods, so it's pretty quiet. There are 3 play areas - a newer ninja park with obstacle activities and a rubber floor, a tall slide and climbing playground, and an older little kid playground and swings in the shaded area by the creek. They have festivals and events here often.

Its primarily a tennis club so the pool and exercise facilities aren't overrun with people. I rarely ever have to wait for a machine, and the weight room has really improved over the years. The childcare facilities were what sold me, though. My daughter LOVES it, and I never worry about leaving her while I work out. The girl that watches the kids is so sweet and really engages them. My only complaint is that they don't currently offer any aerobics classes, aside from aqua aerobics. I believe they're working on that, though. I don't play tennis, so I can't comment there.
