This rating is for customer service (not the store or products). The return policy is awful. Do not get gifts here and do not lose your receipt. Without a receipt you cannot even do an exchange or get store credit...NO MATTER WHAT! I find this to be horrible service. I've never heard of a clothing store, especially one that is not cheap, not give you store credit. Even discount clothing stores provide store credit, like Marshalls. I will not be shopping at Tilly's again because their customer service is unacceptable. read more

At first it was hard to find someone to help us , but after 10 mins found couple girls an they were really nice . They didn't rush my niece in the fitting room an the one she didn't want the took them , told her oh no worries I'll put them away for you. Unfierybsrejt I can't rate them highly. Went in to do an exchange for a purchase I made online. There were at least 6-8 staff members on the floor and not one asked if I needed help. When I went to the register, no one acknowledged me. They only had one register open and I waited for a good 5-7 min. For the amount of people working there, this was probably the worst customer service at any retail store. read more

Eric makes this place a horrible place to walk into. He has no personality, serious face at all times, not welcoming at all and a shitty attitude to top it off. When I went in to pick up my online order he asked for my ID and I didn't have it so was told to come back when I did.( totally understandable) but he had attitude the whole time. When I came back today he had the same attitude, no customer service skills whatsoever. Not a "Hi how are you" "I can help you over here" "how's your day going" just a "Next" meanwhile he proceeded to give a disgusted look on his face the whole time. Never said thank you, just handed me the bag and went back to what he was doing. Definitely needs to have training on proper customer service and how to be somewhat personable. The clothing selection is alright. A sale rack is usually in the back of the store, but I usually never find anything when I look there. I recently came here to buy a backpack for college and that was only because I had a 20% off coupon from the store catalog I got in the mail. If it weren't for the seasonal coupons, I would avoid coming here. read more

Andrea was pleasantly helpful! I was looking for a particular hat that I had purchased previously, but recently lost. Within seconds, Andrea comes and greets me. Then she offers me help. We look for the hat, which I almost lost hope, but then she finds it. Yay, my hero! I was devastated when I lost my hat. It took me a lot to come in and replace it. Andrea just made my whole shopping experience that much more better! Sorry if she had to listen to me mumble about the hat that I lost and how much that hat meant to me. read more

This location is either a hit or miss on customer service. My first visit here they had a worker outside promoting the sale on some shoes when I walked him he was laying across the table and glared and me, sorry for interrupting your nap? That same visit I had my items ready to pay, while I was waiting in line for quite a while the girl up at the register asked if I was in line, I'm clearing waiting with a handful of merchandise. My recent visit was much better I didn't see any familiar faces from my first visit, they guy helping the dressing rooms in the back was very friendly and quick to provide service. When I was ready to pay the girl at the front rang me up and had some conversation, very friendly. Nonetheless this store is convenient instead of driving all the way to the mall, Wish the workers knew how to treat and talk to people better though. read more

WHAT IS THE POINT? Order online and have to stand in a line wrapped around the store? No pick up order line or drive up. Between all the options out there right now for drive up/pick up orders, Tilly's is the worst. Please figure it out Tilly's and try to accommodate the high risk people who order online to avoid jam packed stores with lines wrapped around the entire joint. If I could give a ZERO star I would. I have a pulmonary embolism am on oxygen and the manager Cathy forced me to go inside the store to get items that I purchased online. I sent my husband inside the store because I have difficulty breathing. He had my phone, California drivers license and credit card used to purchase items. Cathy the manager would not give items to my husband she said KIDS come in and try to take items without their parents permission. This was not a child this was my husband! I have not had ANY issues at Target or Walmart which we shop at weekly! This was the WORST customer service and for this reason we will no longer shop at Tilly's. read more

It is always a pleasure taking the boy to spend my hard earned money at this Tilly's. Despite their popularity the shelves are always organized and stocked with ample product and sizes. EVERY associate is respectful and ready to assist when needed. I commend management for instilling customer service within their young employees especially since most adults lack this skill. On this trip, I was returning a pair of jeans that I purchased the boy a week before. I did not do as the wife says and failed to check the garment before I purchased. Turns out there was a scuff at the ankles. I was ready for a hassle since the jeans did not have a tag. To my surpise Tilly's exchanged the jeans without any problem. Make sure to check the clothes thoroughly before you purchase them. This is not the only damaged product that I bought from Tilly's. Last winter I bought a pair of shorts that had several cuts throught. I did not notice the defect until early summer so I chose not to exchange them. read more

Amazing service on 11/18 around 4:06pm at the Glendora store! My Mom has stage 4 Lung cancer, gets very tired and has a hard time breathing. My Mom needed to sit and thank goodness you have the bench by the dressing rooms. The lady's in the store helped my Mom shop for Christmas gifts by bring / showing her clothing items that she might want to purchase for her grand kids. Just amazing that they would go out of there way! True human kindness!!!! read more

I hate this Tilly's but it's the one nearest to my house and I love the clothes they sale. Today I went in to buy some clothes on sale I found this really cute Adidas pullover. While I was cashing out the cashier stretched out the neck of the Adidas pullover to take off the hanger. I told her I did not want that one since she had stretched out the neck she gave me a dirty look and went to look for another one. so the emo kid is getting ready for his last 8th grade dance. he asked for a new outfit which would be new skinny jeans and a new t-shirt. man... i so don't have a lot time to shop on the weekdays. luckily, this tilly's is so conveniently located near me. the staff is super cute and friendly. the emo kid even mentioned wanting to work there when he's old enough to apply for a job. they have a good selection on all the cutesy, skater-like-, emo-like, rock-star like fashion that the kids are wearing today. i even got myself a cute belt on clearance! yay! and of course, we found skinny jeans. and the little one had to get himself a little skater shirt as well. geez... kids! read more

Very poor customer service, walked into the store and was not greeted by one single employee. It was not busy maybe a total of 5 customers (if even that) and they had plenty staff. No one was available for questions. I don't know about everyone else but I do not like to spend my money somewhere I am not even being acknowledged. I give this place (2) stars because one of the employees there was actually helpful at the beginning, but if it wasnt for him I would give them (1) star. To start off with, the customer service here sucks. I went in looking for some sandals, walked around the whole store and not one associate aporoached me, maybe they didnt see me or simply because im hispanic i was overlooked. Some might say thats a little far but what happened to me actually made me feel that way. That day the associate who i actually walked up to, to get help took me to the front to place an order with another associate because they did not have it in stock, from the beginning she didnt even greet me or nothing all she did was ask me what sizr in a very condescending way, i told her that i had not seen this particular item, she pulled it up in her tablet and simply showed me from far away, when i asked her to show it to me closer she gave me this discontent look and as i reached out to hold the tablet, she was holding it tight and actually did not let it go, making me feel like she didnt trust me, it made me upset, to avoid feeling upset, I simply paid her and left. When i received the item, i was not happy with how it fit me, so i took it back to the store. The day i went back to the store, there was (2) people in the register, each with a customer, they both looked up and saw me and just kept helping their customer. One of the person finised with their customer and instead of taking me next, that person pretended they were doing something in paper, so i waited for the next person to be available. A few minutes later a caucacian gentleman walked in with 2 kids and was standing right in front of the cashier looking at the backbacks, like 1 or 2 minutes later the person who didnt have a customer jumped and asked him if he needed assistance to which he said yes and asked her to show him some backpacks. This bothered me because i had been waiting in line just for someone else to completely jump me, when it was my time to get helped, i told that person i wanted to return that item and immediately asked me why, i gave her ny reason and she gave me this unpleasant look and said that ok. I bothered me because as it is, its a inconvenience for me to have driven to the store again, just to be treated that way, i will be most definately not be coming bsck to this place. read more

I usually love Tilly's, however I was extremely disappointed with the the Glendora Store. I receive Tilly's emails and when I tried to use one of their discounts, they said their computer system was down. I understand that technical glitches happen, but the manager should have been able to hand input the discount. They also conviently turned away customers with gift cards. I recently bought a pair of RSQ jeans for my boyfriend. After gifting them to him for his birthday we noticed a tear in the back pocket. We took these (never worn) jeans back to the Tilly's in Glendora and requested for an even exchange since I had thrown away the receipt.
