    Butter Chicken Masala

Stopped into Tikka Shack after running errands in White Marsh. It's located in the old Duck Donuts space, which has been nicely updated with a chill, modern vibe. Staff was friendly and greeted me right away. The menu is easy to follow with lots of options--bowls, tacos, pizza, wings, plus a kids menu. I ordered the Butter Chicken Masala. The portion size was decent overall, but there wasn't much chicken. The sauce was thinner than expected and a bit bland, and the naan was just okay. The space and service were solid, but the food didn't quite deliver. I might give it another shot with a different dish, but this one was underwhelming.

The location is pretty quaint. It's got cute decor. There is space for seating... So I decided to sit and eat the lady that was taking my order was super helpful. I ordered the butter masala and I love samosas. The food was good and is great for something different for takeout. It had great flavor and was seemingly cooked fresh. I would return!

Pretty but nasty ... yuck ...

0/10 I do not recommend. I never give bad reviews so that actually disturbs me having to do this but I must be honest. I love Indian Food but this place is a huge disappointment. I actually came here by accident thinking that a particular event was supposed to happen I signed up for but I got my dates mixed up. I was disappointed to even waste my time and effort. When I walked in I was not greeted, the customer service was terrible. A young girl who looked like she had just rolled out of bed was texting in the back of the restaurant... I thought I had walked into the wrong place. She finally asked if I needed anything, she couldn't answer any of my questions and the items that I was interested in on the menu were "sold out" . The place looked dingy instead of clean and I was concerned about how safe it was to actually eat from here. Thankfully I didn't get sick or anything. There was also another young lady who seemed like a teenager as well " cooking " in the back. I settle for a chicken tikka taco I believe. The naan bread that it came in was good, and crispy, but the chicken had no flavor , just overly salty and spicy. It was gross. Very commercial like. I thought I was in for a treat and prepared myself for authentic flavorful Indian Food, this is not that. Even the " butter chicken " looked watered down and bland. Could probably do a better job myself with a packaged microwaved meal from Aldi or Trader Joe's.... I'm not looking forward to having to go back to this place at all...: which is very unfortunate.

The food was really good. I order the Tikka Masala, chicken, Basmati Rice, Naan and drink. wasn't spicy which I liked. The meat the chicken was good and the rice was not hard. The the gentleman was really nice that help me. He told me what was good and which one was not too spicy. And he gave me bread and a drink. I ate most my meal there and then took the rest home. And i'm back in that area.I would like to try it again. They had different stuff on their menu. The bathroom was really nice and clean for being both women and men. It's a cute little restaurant. They also serve pizza.I saw someone eating pizza.Look good. The tables were not clean.

You NEED to add Tikka Shack to your foodie bucket list Two locations (White Marsh + Owings Mills) Every bite was amazing! From the crispy fries & fluffy garlic naan , to those sweet & tangy wings .. but the real star, that tandoori chicken pizza . The staff was super nice and helpful! The place is pretty spacious, with the option to dine in or take out. Plus, it's available on DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub Definitely going back , especially for the mango lassi

Tikka Shack is the newest eatery to the White Marsh area providing fast-casual Indian fare. Upon walking into Tikka Shack you have two options for ordering, either at the counter or through a kiosk. Which the kiosk didn't seem to be working properly during my visit. So, I ordered at the counter with the young lady who was waiting for an order to be completed but told me she'd be with me shortly, which was nice. The staff seemed fairly nice; however they may need a little supervision given I could hear someone on the line, which is kind of open to the public, cursing while talking across the way to someone else. With Tikka Shack being newly open, customer service should be a bigger focus. Tikka Shack is more of an Indian fusion type of restaurant. Offering tacos, pizzas, wings, and wraps with an Indian flare. I opted for a shrimp coconut curry taco, chicken tikka grill platter, and a side of garlic naan. I wasn't too fond of the taco given the shrimp was cut up into smaller pieces that got lost in the cabbage slaw and was just a little too saucy for my liking. The chicken tikka grill was ok but was lacking that depth of flavor I enjoy in Indian food. However, I really enjoyed the mango salad. According to the menu the chicken tikka grill platter comes with tikka sauce. However, I wasn't provided any sauce with my order, which would've been nice. The garlic naan although it had a nice garlic flavor, the bread was a little lackluster in taste. Tikka Shack is a good lunch destination if you're in the area and looking for something out of the norm from burgers and fries. However, I didn't find that they provided those bold flavors you may typically find in traditional Indian cuisine.

Wasn't the biggest fan. Skimped on the chicken. Sauce was ight. My biggest beef was the ratio of chicken and rice.

I went on their opening day and it was an experience. I can't lie, the food is delicious - very top tier for a fast casual spot! - Chicken tikka taco 10/10 - Seasoned fries 9/10 - Mango salad 7/10 - Lamb wrap 100000/10 (even without the sauce) BUT - I recommend waiting to try until they're a little more established. We had several issues with our order as did other people. I just think the owner underestimated how many people would be interested and how many people would actually enjoy the food. I will certainly be back!

This Indian food chain is new to the area and offers a quick-service version of Indian cuisine. The food cannot be compared with a full service Indian restaurant but it is on the excellent side of a fast service place. I tried the veggie patty which had a little spice and flavor, but seemed like more filler than vegetables. The butter chicken was delicious, but the sauce was not very hot(temperature wise). The spice level was good and it had good flavor. The chicken was tasty too. They do have a nice selection of sauces and proteins. The garlic naan was ok. Overall this is a good place when you are looking for tasty Indian food without much wait or to bring home. If you want to dine in, keep in mind there are very limited tables and you may not have a space. There is outdoor dining space on the side of the building which is pleasant enough on nice days.

This is a cute spot for a quick bite for Indian street food! The samosa chat was nice, but the yogurt was a bit too sweet to my liking. I really liked the veggie cutlet! Service was smooth. Chai is spot on great! The eatery is clean and organized, but our tables could have used some cleaning prior to sitting down.

    Samosas. Pretty good

It came with stewed curry chickpeas, salad, basmati rice & naan. I got the garlic naan and I believe it's an up charge for the garlic version. They give you two big pieces, which could be saved for a quick sandwich the next day. I was less than ten minutes away from the restaurant, so there was a bit of a wait for my meal to be prepared. Our group of six went to Hyderabad Stories in Cockeysville planning to dive into their lunch buffet, only to find out they no longer offer it. Since we were already there and hungry, we decided to stick around and order from the regular menu and honestly, it worked out just fine. The space used to be San Sushi before the owner retired, and the interior layout is pretty much the same. It is simple and perfectly serviceable for small to medium groups. When we visited, we were actually the only occupied table, which made for a quiet and relaxed lunch. Since there was no official buffet, we decided to make our own by ordering a half dozen dishes to share. We went with a variety of curries, multiple biryanis, butter chicken, samosas, and plenty of naan for the table. Everything came out at a great pace and the service was very friendly and efficient throughout. The curries were the highlight for me. Some were dialed up with extra heat for the spice lovers at the table, while others were milder, but all of them were packed with flavor and tasted fresh. The biryanis were also excellent, with generous portions of both lamb and chicken. No skimping on the protein here. Pricing was reasonable, and when we split the bill it came out to about what each of us would typically spend at an Indian lunch buffet anyway. Overall, even without the buffet option, Hyderabad Stories is a great Indian food choice in the area and definitely worth checking out if you are craving flavorful curries and solid biryani.
