The vibe of the patio was great and super lively. The staff were friendly and attentive. They even brought out a water bowl for our dog. We got the burrata Fresca appetizer which was really good. For my main I got the truffle mushroom ravioli, it was good but got a bit too salty towards the end. I also tried a slice of the pepperoni which was good as well. The patio was really busy when we went so I'd recommend making a reservation in advance!

I come here all the time for dinner and the food never disappoints. I came here for my anniversary with my boyfriend and we enjoyed our meal. We made a reservation for around 7pm, and they took us to the patio outside. I personally prefer being seated indoors, as it can get either too hot or too cold in the winter, but it is quite nice when the weather cooperates. The tables are also personally on the small side so keep that in mind if you're planning to order many appetizers. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and served us quickly. We ordered beef tacos to start. We usually get the fish tacos (which are some of our favourite tacos in the city) but we wanted to try something new. These tacos were great and the sauces were amazing. We then had the Burrata Fresco. It was our first time having this as well and we were quite pleased with it. The cheese was super creamy and went super well with the bread. Usually, the mains take a while to come, especially if you come on a weekend night (this was Father's day weekend, so it took a bit longer than usual) Finally we got to our mains. He had his usual, the Chimichurri steak sandwich, and I got a fish and chips, which i had never tried before. His steak was great and cooked really well. I've had the steak sandwich before as well and it was super well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Do keep in mind they only serve it with one slice of bread, though you can add an additional slice to make it a real sandwich. My fish and chips were good as well. The fish was thickly battered and was a little on the oily side but it wasn't bad. It went great with the truffle fries I ordered. The slaw was purple cabbage, which I think I prefer to the green cabbage kind. The restaurant was kind enough to give us a free cheesecake on the side with a cool flame sparkler for me and my boyfriend's anniversary. It was quite good and we thought is was quite generous of the restaurant. Overall, Taps is a great all rounder place to get food with your family or friends. They serve great pizzas here as well and I haven't had a dish I was disappointed with yet. It is on the pricier side, but if you have the ability to splurge, this is a great place to do so.

Menu offerings differ depending on where you're seated. The first time ever having gone, I had learned about their happy hour menu but we were seated in the dining hall and had made reservations there. The restaurant was packed! I really wanted to try their happy hour offerings and was delighted that they allowed us to, given where we were seated. Our server, Sean, was wonderful. He made our dining experience memorable. That night we ordered chili garlic shrimp, furious fries, ahi tuna tataki and received wild mushroom & goat cheese dip on the house. Everything was delicious. We all liked the shrimp, it had a kick. 3/4 liked the fries, since it contains truffle oil and gran padano, one of our party members wasn't a fan. We all enjoyed the dip and I ate the rest of the tuna tataki as part of my meal. In addition to this, we each ordered a meal. One person got the oven roasted chicken, another the prime rib, another the top sirloin and me, the mussels in white cream sauce. I was enjoying my steamed mussels until I was met with granules of sand at the very last bite. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. Another time, went back for steak, salad and escargot. The escargot was tasteless. Neither myself nor the person I was with enjoyed it. Keg makes theirs way better! Good cuts of steaks and flavours. Had the burger on one occasion when a craving struck. Sat at the bar, had a drink and people watched. Will return again. It's a convenient location and drive. Free parking in the lot next to the hotel. A high end restaurant with good service and ambiance. Lighting is at times too dim but adds to the romance, I guess.

One of our party waited what felt like five minutes for their entree while the remainder of our party waited out of respect for them to get theirs After the meal we were asked the standard coffee or dessert which we declined. The next logical step would be to offer the check but we had to wait another 10 minutes to Interrupt our servers conversation with fellow staff to get the check. Food was really good. Definitely worth going again. Hope the staff improve. If we get an experience like that again I can't say I'd go a third time.

It is a basic pub you're going to have your classic beers and pub type food they have an extensive list of burgers so I am assuming that's what they specialize in. The waiter also told me that there are chicken fingers are popular so I ended up getting chicken fingers and the person I was with got fish and chips and then we got the boneless bites for appetizer and the boneless bites we chose the maple chipotle sauce. The maple chipotle sauce was absolutely delicious a winner and probably should have got it for my chicken fingers. For my chicken fingers I did get Buffalo sauce and plum sauce just two classic sauces a portions are quite large that helps because I do find that they're pricing is higher than the typical pub the fries were delicious my food was hot you can tell that they just came out of the fryer and the chicken fingers were also hot as well. The breading on the chicken finger didn't have much taste so have to rely on the sauces to enhance your meal. the fish and chips unfortunately were a disappointment it was heavily breaded it said it was a whiskey batter and it seems like all they do is add whiskey to the batter there is absolutely no seasoning so it really is just a thick batter that is flavorless. We ended up just eating the fish we did let the waiter know that the batter was awful and he took the feedback but that's about it. The reason why we came here was because Taps had a 40 minute wait for a table for two and we were too hungry to wait that long. And honestly kind of wish that we did wait for that table at Tap. Short summary service was great they were attentive however the food is very average and the price is above average so I don't think that there is value for what you are getting

Wife and I started off with a Keg-sized Caesar salad, which was average but standard Keg fare. Wife had a phenomenal Yuzu pina colada that was absolutely delicious. A must-get. Wife also had the fillet, which was cooked perfectly, and I had a rib steak, which was cooked medium well when I asked for medium rare. I am not sure if it's because I may have said it in a funny way and he misheard, or it was a screw-up. Not sure, so I can't really penalise them, but this was one of the drier steaks I ever had here because it was overcooked. One special note, though, was that the twice-baked baked potato, was fantastic. In fact, it is actually the best twice-baked baked potato I have had from the Keg ever. The key difference here was that the smokiness of the bacon inside was very strong and really shone through. That was fantastic. Overall, I'd probably give this experience a six out of ten because of the overcooked steak, but again I'm not sure if it was because the waiter misheard or if I mispronounced.

No happy hour at this keg and some of the menu items were not the same in quality and presentation. Lots of free parking and public transportation. The chicken wings were heavily breaded where at other kegs they light breaded. Sauce was bland and lacked flavored. The wedge salad was ok. If the blue cheese dressing was watery and not thick like other kegs. The rib steak was a small for the price. Cooked well but lacked seasoning. Needed to add salt and pepper with extra steak spice. Vegetables were cooked perfectly just not much on the plate. Will keep going to kegs but not this one Michael
